I must disagree.
The Quick Reply MOD does not make anything easier.
1) OMFG!!!11!!! You have to click one less time than usual to post! I don't think so. There's nothing quick. To post in quick reply:
Type message>Submit
Regular:
Post Reply>Type message>submit
It is not a quick reply.
2)If I remember correctly, most of the regular posting abilities from regular posting, (HTML, BBcode, Quoting), are the same in regular posting, and the MOD.
3) It's HUGE. Literally. The box is just too big at the footer. It makes any forum look ugly in my opinion.
The quick reply MOD is in no way easier, and not that much quicker. This is my opinion, I would be disappointed to see the quick reply MOD on the forums.

I have to agree with TS. It makes all of no difference, and this way is neater. We don't need some huge box at the bottom of the page, when we are a mere click away from replying anyway. If you want to cut down the process by one click...

There are two types of quick reply boxes I have seen: the annoying ones that fill up half the page in the footer, and ones that hide until you click a button. The latter type is no more convenient as far as physical work (seeing as you have to click "Fast Reply" to make the fotter expand to show the box. However, for dial-up users, it's one less page to load.
If we could get one of the hidden types of Fast Replies, I'd be all for it.

I actually like that Quick Reply box. The Hidden one is nice, and the big one doesn't annoy me a bit.
Oh, and by the way. There's absolutely no need to be rude to new members, especially when they give out suggestions and are not spammers. So, next time you disagree with someone who's new, please take it easy and try to avoid sarcasm, because not everyone will take them as a mere joke. Be nice as you all trully are.

Actually, you guys don't have to consider me as a newbie. I've seen lots of flamers and I'm used to it. So anyone could flame me and I wouldn't give a damn about it.
The Quick Reply Box would be at the footer of the page, but not half the page. Where I'm from(PokeRealm to be exact), the Box is half the size of the one I'm using right now.
