Well, once you've reached Mossdeep city and you go to fight the two psychic gym leader girls, the walkthrough says the Lunatone and Solrock that you have to fight are level 40. However, in my game, it said they were both level 42. I'm not sure if something happened with my game or not, but I thought I'd just like to share this.

Are you, by any chance, playing Emerald, not Ruby or Sapphire? Because according to the Emerald Gyms & Elites guide, they do indeed have level 42 Solrock/Lunatone. Please keep in mind that RUBY AND SAPPHIRE ARE NOT IDENTICAL TO EMERALD!

I asked the same question earlier, but my thread was deleted. I was playing Sapphire, and the Lunatone and Solrock were both at Lv42, not Lv40.

In both RS and E, they are both at lvl 42. The only difference in E is that it includes a Xatu and Claydol (at lvls 40 and 41 respectively, iirc).
