The Pick Up list is very thorough in its listings of items found and the probability of finding certain items. However, since items are not found after every successful battle (at least, my Linoone doesn't find items every time I win), it might be a good idea to add the "overall probability" of finding an item to the Pick Up list and to ability descriptions. I know if I find an item what it might be, but exactly how likely is it that I WILL find an item?

I didn't think about that before; so I conducted some research and after 100 battles, I picked up 11 items. So my guess is that it's actually something like 10%. I'll add that to the Pick Up list as an approximation, but if anyone else would like to share some results, I'd be interested to know.

Thanks for the heads up DarkAriados :)

I too conducted some research, and after 100 battles I picked up eight items. Average so far = 9.5 per cent.
