That's quite good, SK. I'm just waiting for Dr. double Duel to come back again.

Magnitude, Soft Sand, Hard Stone, King's Rock and moves of the same type on the same pokemon is pointless and bad. I'd give all the pokemon Leftovers and replace Magnitude with something like, Body Slam or something? Also, with the increasing amounts of Ninjasks, even In-Game, I feel Rock Slide should be replaced with Rock Blast.

How would this DB strategy go?
{medicham} @Lefties Relaxed Nature
Psychic
Hi Jump Kick
Psych Up
Hidden Power (Ice)

{kyogre} Hasty Nature @berry that raises SA in a pinch
Calm Mind
Thunder
Surf
Ice Beam

Calm Mind to the max with Kyogre, then Psych Up. Use SA boosts to advantage. Repeat. :P

That would work, but Medicham's Sp. Atk. sucks

Hence Psych Up +Calm Mind.

How about this?

{ursaring}
Facade
Earthquake
Bulk Up
Subsitute

{xatu}
Psychic
Wish
Toxic
Haze

Uraring charges up with Bulk Up, while Xatu Hazes/Psychics/Wishes, then have Xatu use Toxic on Ursaring, Facade+Guts+Toxic=Ouch.

Whats the point of Haze when you have Curse? And are we all forgetting that the number one stat in 2vs2 that should NEVER be glected on ANY 2vs2 sweeper is SPEED?

Author:  Orre_Master [ Tue Oct 18, 2005 3:15 pm ]
Post subject:

Neither of them have Curse.

Author:  Kari Kagome & Mewtwo [ Tue Oct 18, 2005 3:17 pm ]

Bulk Up is same thing. Haze + Ally Stat Boost = No

also, for those interested, you might wanna take a gander at this:

{gengar}

{xatu}

Calm Mind
Thunder Wave
Confuse Ray

Mean Look and Perish Song with Gengar, Thunder Wave and Confuse Ray with Xatu, then Protect and Taunt with Gengar, while Sweeping with Xatu.

N.B This set I am about to post is tiger10x's idea, not mine. But seeing as he hasn't posted it, I'll post it for him:

Raichu @ Liechi
Trait: Static
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Thunder Wave
- Hidden Power [Ghost]
- Reversal
- Substitute

Hariyama @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Attack / 252 HP / 6 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, - SAtk)
-Body Slam
-Smellingsalt
-Endure
-Reversal

On a side note, the Ursaring Guts abuse set DOESN'T work. Aerodactyl and Crobats are too common these days.

Will-O-Wisp (Egg Move)

{castform} Item: Shell Bell & Ability: Forecast
Sunny Day

Start the battle with Houdoom's Will-O-Wisp and Castform's Sunny Day. Next turn use Will-O-Wisp on the other enemy and Weather Ball on Houndoom himself to increase his fire attack power. The following turn, use Flamethrower (first if enemies is fire weak or normal), Crunch (first if enemies is dark weak), and Solarbeam (first on grass weak enemies), and Castform uses Toxic this turn and then the next. After this, your oppoents will be on their knees.

There was a small problem, with it so I'll edit it for you in the quote

Moves: Heat Wave-Dragon Claw/Earthquake-Rock Slide-Endure/sunnyday

Image
Item: Quick Claw/Leftovers
Nature: Mild/Rash
Moves: Eruption-Earthquake-Solarbeam-Rockslide

This is an opening move strategy that you use to kill both of your opponent's guys in one turn, thus the natures. Sunnyday can replace endure since your opponent may change the weather on you. Groudon's Quick Claw should be replaced with Leftovers only if you are giving Charizard Earthquake.

EV's for both: 252 Spd, 128 Att, 128 Sp. Att, 6 Anywhere

{mewtwo} @ Lefties
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Flamethrower

{tyranitar} @ Lefties
Surf
Earthquake
Brick Break
Shadow Ball / Crunch

The Tyranitar could be replaced by a Mew if you wanted higher Special Attack and speed, but your Attack would go down, thus making Earthquake, Brick Break, and Shadow Ball less effective (plus Mew cannot learn Crunch), but it would increase the power of Surf.

This team is capable of performing a Super Effective attack against any single-type Pokemon. Of course, it can not do Super Effective to some Pokemon such as Kingdra that have no weaknesses, but it is still a very good team.

Edit from sN0wBaLL: The only Pokemon that has zero weaknesses is Sableye. Like Tobey said, Kingdra is weak to Dragon type attacks.

But strong against it as well, so that's really not a weakness if it goes both ways.

It's a bit of a weakness since the strongest Dragon move {kingdra} can learn is DragonBreath, while there are stronger Dragon moves such as Outrage and DragonClaw that many pokemon can learn (DragonClaw, I mean).

Anyone who teaches Kingdra a Dragon Attack is lol. Also, A weakness is a weakness. Quite a few pokemon are faster than a Kingdra when Rain Dance isn't active and Dragon Claw + Flamethrower isn't an uncommon thing on Dragonite and the occasional Salamence.
