{espeon} @ salac berry
psychic <<< consider pp max
helping hand
double team
morning sun

{umbreon} @ ganlon berry
helping hand
faint attack
confuse ray
moonlight

strategy: umbreon confuses and espeon psychic attacks
against something with high sp def: umbreon helping hands and espeon psycihcs
against a fighting type: umberon uses helping hand and espeon psychics
against a ghost or psychic: espeon helping hands whiler umbreon uses faint attack
against a dark: this teams only major weakness espeon should double team till its maxed while umbreon confuse rays then faint attacks then once both opponents are confused and double team is fully operational espeon helping hands and faint attacks

heal when neccesary

just so you know these pokemon usually used in the battle dome

Here you go Dr.DoubleDuel:

{marowak}
Item: Thick Club
Ability: Lightningrod
~Swords Dance
~Earthquake
~Brick Break
~Aerial Ace

{dragonite}
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
~Ice Beam
~Thunderbolt
~HP Dark
~Light Screen/Thunder Wave/Roar

Strategy: This team is super effective to all the types. Also, with a separate physical and special sweeper, the destruction is maximized. Marowak, holding the attack-doubling Thick Club, causes major damage with a super effective move or just sweeps with a Swords Dance-boosted, STAB'd Earthquake. Also, Marowak's Lightningrod protects Dragonite from any electric attacks. Dragonite either sweeps with a super effective attack or supports with Light Screen/Thunder Wave/Roar. Dragonite can also cover most of Marowak's weaknesses. The only thing that can give this team trouble is an ice pokemon, but it will hopefully cause less damage if Light Screen is up, and hopefully be wiped out by Marowak's Brick Break, or Thunderbolt if it is water. Also, other pokemon may be used instead of Marowak, such as Sandslash, Salamence, Dragonite, Armaldo, and Ursaring. However, Marowak is great because the Earthquake is STAB'd. Enjoy!

EDIT: Oh, I just thought of this team:

{dugtrio}
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Arena Trap
~Attract
~Swagger
~Toxic
~Rock Slide/Uproar

{cacturne}
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
~Attract
~Leech Seed
~Sandstorm
~Needle Arm/Giga Drain/Faint Attack

Strategy: This team is an annoyance death trap. With Arena Trap, most pokemon are prevented from escaping. Also, if you have Dugtrio and Cacturne have opposite genders, both opponents can get attracted. Sandstorm can be used to hurt the opponents and give Cacturne an evasion boost. Also, while Toxic and Leech Seed suck the opponent's HP, they can be confused by Swagger. Dugtrio's Uproar (if you have it) has a chance of hitting Cacturne, but can be useful if you battle pokemon with Rest a lot. Otherwise, Rock Slide hits both opponents. Cacturne can also use Giga Drain (useful if Dugtrio has Uproar), Faint Attack (useful if you battle pokemon that use Double Team a lot), or Needle Arm (flinching). Needle Arm is especially useful combined with Rock Slide for increased flinching.

If you do, then it is Dragonite.

I was looking over some of the sample teams, and I see some problems.

{glalie}/{ampharos} team

Glalie is definitely not the best pokemon to use explosion (maybe Metagross) and Ampharos cannot learn Recover or Reversal.

{groudon}/{salamence} team

Fire Blast over Flamethrower? Fire Blast and Eruption? Hydro Pump in a Drought? That doesn't seem right.

{kyogre}/{ludicolo} team

Hydro Pump over Surf? Hydro Pump and Water Spout? Blizzard, I can understand, hits both opponents, but why not have Surf then?

{banette}/{seedot} team

1. Seedot cannot have the Damp ability. (look here)
2. Even if he could, that would mean he couldn't use explosion.

Dr.DoubleDuel wrote:
Damp- Prevents all Pokemon in battle from using Selfdestruct or Explosion. Good and Bad again. Good because you won't get hurt by them. Bad since you can't use the skills as well.
~Rating: ***

3. Seedot should be Shiftry.
4. Banette cannot use Rest because of the Insomnia ability. (past topic here)

{mewtwo}/{nidoqueen} team and
{blaziken}/{glalie} team

Brick Break would be better than Double Kick on both teams.

Sorry I didn't put the original teams in, it took too much room.

Also, the {meganium}/{mr. mime} team and my {marowak}/{dragonite} team are in there twice. My {marowak}/{dragonite} team is the last team posted, that is the one you should delete. It has an obsolete strategy. The real one is two teams earlier with the updated strategy.

{groudon}/{salamence} team

Fire Blast over Flamethrower? Fire Blast and Eruption? Hydro Pump in a Drought? That doesn't seem right.

-Just deleted this team right now...

{kyogre}/{ludicolo} team

Hydro Pump over Surf? Hydro Pump and Water Spout? Blizzard, I can understand, hits both opponents, but why not have Surf then?

-Kept it.... I dunno, I feel it can still survive if it can be worked on...

{banette}/{seedot} team

1. Seedot cannot have the Damp ability. (look here)
2. Even if he could, that would mean he couldn't use explosion.

-Okay, just added Brick Break for Double Kick.

-I didn't find the second Meganium and Mr.Mime team... Maybe it was previously deleted... Anyway, I deleted your second Marowak/Dragonite team and I adjusted the credits...

Sorry must have been looking at the wrong thing. You didn't edit it out of your post at the beginning, then? Should I be looking at the guide in the Psydex?

EDIT: Did you edit that Banette/Seedot team out of your post on page 1?

Sorry but I'm getting really confused now.

This place is full of great ideas. I realy like the {dugtrio}/{cacturne} team.
one thing: it'll be useless to steel pokemon. Toxic won't work, and Giga Drain/Needle Arm/Faint Attack will do little damage. plus, Sandstorm won't hurt steel types.
add EQ on Dugtrio(EQ with STAB is very usefull) , and you're set.
it'll hurt {cacturne}, but with Giga Drain and Leech Seed, it'll be fine.

The Dugtrio/Gengar set by Kari kagome and Mewtwo I think should be added and so should my Gyarados/Rhydon team. i tested them. They work well.

Edit: No, the Duggy/gengar set was by Achilles.

I hope you know that any team with Swagger/Flatter and Substitute doesn't work and the only reason why it did work was because of a glitch in netbattle.

Welcome back KKM. Are you the same KKM at Smogon? Over there you have posted some brilliant 2v2 related analysis' on teams. Swagger/Flatter safeguard teams work though, or they did the last time I checked.
A variant on the guts abuse set:

{ursaring}
Item: Choice Band/Liechi Berry (Liechi if Swords dance set is used)
EVs: 252 A, 252 D/S (doing EVs for this is VERY difficult, especially when you want it to outspeed Weezing except you don't know the speed of the average weezing, :()
Facade
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Swords Dance/ Brick Break/ Focus punch (for the better predicter)/ HP Flying/ HP Ghost

{exeggutor}
Item: leftovers
EVs: 252 SA, 100 D, 100SD, 58 HP
Poisonpowder
Psychic
HP Grass
Leech Seed

This set will need Heal Bell/Aromatherapy support, and maybe wish support as well.
Strategy:
1st Turn Ursaring: Dance or attack with another attacking move.
1st Turn Eggy: Poisonpowder Ursaring. If it misses, try again next turn.
2nd turn Ursaring: Facade if poisoned, if not, attack or dance again.
2nd Turn Eggy: If you didn't hit with the poisonpowder, try again, if you did, Leech Seed any opponent not immune to it. Try to poison Ursaring ASAP.
3rd Turn Ursaring: If you aren't poisoned yet you are unlucky and need to stop believing in luck. If you are, Facade again.
3rd Turn Eggy: Leech Seed the next opponent not immune to it.
4th turn both: Attack damnit.

5th & 6th turn: Thunderbolt/Calm Mind

That's what I have a problem with. Rhydon isn't and will never be a good Sp. Sweeper. Especially with those inaccurate, Low PP moves.

yea, i know......but im kinda liking his lightning rod abilities for in-game battles....and so he can take the electric atks for pelliper or another water and then turn around and dominate SOMETIMES with his special atks...fireblast vs grass, blizzard vs most stuff, thunderbolt vs flying etc.

but if you really dont think he should have special atks i might just go ahead and delete that team, or find someone else with lightning rod.....

hmm what do you think about {chinchou} with something else?
volt absorb could come in handy when going after the in-game lightning gym leaders......

Please, don't double post, use the EDIT button. Yes, Sp. attacks are horrible on Rhydon. Chinchou can be a nice pokemon to work with.

For rocks Rhydon gets rock blast, for grass, megahorn. He's a bit screwed Vs Waters for the reason that water has no physical weaknesses.
