this has to do with RuSa, to an extent, but more for DP:

Dragonite has much been used as Boahnite (sub-punch, bolt beam). The idea being that bolt-beam has 2 resists, (3 if shedinja,) and hits hard.

What about one wuith no resists, and more power?
Dragonite @Leftovers
~Substitute
~Focus Punch
~Flamethrower
~Dragon Claw

Dragon + Fire = no resist (flash fire heatran, yes). Dragon Claw gets stab. Flamethrower kills skarmory/forretress. Sub punch the same.
And, with less s-tossing, the 101 HP subs won't be as neccessary.
No clue on natures. Last i checked, -Sp. Atk with 40 evs gave an ohko on skarms.

No, it doesn't stand up to Bulky waters (milotic), but it could work better against others.

Sorry if this is a necromancy, but i came across this moveset for an Alakazam, thought you might be interested.

{alakazam}@leftovers
-Taunt
-Encore
-Calm Mind
-Psychic

Encore a non-damaging attack, then Taunt the opponent, forcing them to struggle. Leftovers negates struggle damage, and as they slowly succumb to recoil damage, you power up with Calm Mind, before finishing with Psychic.

Works best if you baton-pass a Mean Look first, though.

{alakazam} | Relaxed | Razor Fang | Synchronize |
atk 105 def 107 sp atk 204 sp def 142 spd 171

Skill Swap
Phsychic
Charge Beam
Snatch

Ok, First off, Use Snatch on the first turn (They might use a double team to outspeed Alakazam) or use skill swap if they don't have any moves that inflict stat problems, and then use psychic. If it dosen't die, use charge beam to finish.(two psychic would waste PP) Oh, yes and Use Charge Beam both times if there water types.

and

{abra} @ leftovers with relaxed nature , synchronize
atk 122 def 128 sp atk 223 sp def 167 spd 167

confusion
calm mind
charge beam
baton pass

Ok, use confusion. They'll probably be confused. If not, try again.
Now use calm mind and hope the foe hurts itself.Use Charge Beam, and
after that it should have been KOd.If not, try again. Then Baton pass
the stat raises to another special sweeper that's strong against your
opponet's pokemon.

two fire moves and two fighting moves on a pokemon?? Plus that is not really original in anyway. Sucks against {charizard} with wing attack or EQ... how is that even creative?

To those who thought I forgot or was ignoring this topic, I have still been paying attention to it. I just haven't gotten around to replying or moving it up on my priorities. That's pretty much how this topic has been in the past anyway.

I've already been contacted about the Dragonite, and it's been taken care of.

bluestrike's Alakazam: First of all, the BPed Mean Look would be very necessary as not many people would leave in a Pokemon if it was just left to use Struggle. However, since using Struggle won't actually damage the user very much (unless it's DP), you'll likely need to finish off the opponent with Psychic. This allows your opponent to see your entire moveset and switch to a Dark Pokemon next. This would likely work better in DP, so I'll wait and test it when I can.

Ghett0's Alakazam: You can't expect the opponent to use Double Team, and you might be mixing it up with Agility. Skill Swap also doesn't fit in very well because there's no apparent reason why it would help or is needed. It just seems like you put this all together in your own game, and there's really no reason for me to say it's worth testing.

Abra: Confusion can't be counted on to confuse the opponent. Also, Charge Beam and Calm Mind are pointless to have together regarding the Special Attack raising. Either way, it's like the Alakazam in how you put it together, but I wouldn't accept it because it's unevolved.

Blakiken: bluestrike actually summed it up pretty well, so not much is left to explain there.

Calm/Careful maybe bold/impish
252 Sp D, 252 D, 6 HP
@Flame Orb
Synchronize
Fake Tears
Mean Look
Substitute/moonlight
Baton Pass/attract

Its essentially a free will o wisp, or steady damage every turn
fake tears to disable special sweepers
You can either baton pass a subsstitute or wait for the burn to wear em down assuming they dont have leftovers

Darkrai / Bad Dreams / Bold / ?????
EVs: Def 252, Sp Def 252 Spd 6

Dark Void
NightMare
Embargo
Dream Eater

Dark void(Embargo if they have a chesto), Dream Eater, , then Nightmare. This combo will KO your opponet in 3 turns, regardless.
Also, because of dream eater, it can stay alive long enough to KO a whole team.

Smeargle @ Focus Sash
Brave / 0IV in speed
- Trick room
- Spore
- Endeavour
- Ice Shard/Mirror coat/Counter/Status effect

I know this looks really dumb but I think it has potential. After trick rooming, you spore and reduce their health to 1 after the focus sash let you survive on the trick room turn.

great support for the rest of the trick room team too and with the trick room you may even pinch off multiple pokés.

To sum up most of the last Pokemon submitted, none have really caught my eye, so I didn't hasten to respond. I'll just briefly go over each one though.

Umbreon: Burning your opponent for the price of burning yourself is not usually a decent trade. You can't have Leftovers, and if you choose Substitute over Moonlight, you won't be left with much after just one use. Plus, I'm not entirely sure if Flame Orb activates Synchronize (I would think it does, but it doesn't matter anyway).

Darkrai: At about the same time as this came up, it was also posted in so many other topics that to restart the discussion would be useless. It's just not worth it (the set).

pikazapper's sets: "Favorite" does not equate to "creative" or even worthy of testing here. Check out the HoF & rules topic.

Aron: This just isn't worth it. Even if it works at its best, it's only a one-time offer. Regardless, you'd want a -defense nature and maxed HP for such a set.

Smeargle: It isn't really a slow Pokemon in general, so the Pokemon that don't care about speed situations would go first under Trick Room normally. Sandstorm (and Hail) is unfortunately unavoidable here. I suppose that when there's a chance to test, I can try this out.

I have actually used this on WiFi. Its kinda haxxy, has a strategy that needs to be followed exactly, and doesn't always work correctly, but when it does work right, it kills. I figured it was creative enough for the thread.

{shuckle} @ Leftovers
Sturdy
Relaxed - 252 Def, 252 HP, 6 SpDef
Power Trick
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Return

Strategy:

Step 1: With another pokemon, use the move Trick Room.

Step 2: Switch to Shuckle

Step 3: Use Power Trick

Step 4: Pwn base with move of choice, while dealing at least neural damage to all pokemon except Levitating Bronzong.

I realize it is very fragile, and can be wiped out after Power Trick is used with Tackle, but the main point of this is to take out a pokemon or two before Trick Room wears off, or at least deal a heavy amount of damage, not last around. I find I have most success when my opposition has only one pokemon left, since they cant switch around.

I don't know if this has been suggested:

{torterra} @ Shell Bell | Overgrow | Adamant
EV: 252 Attk, 252 Sp. Def, 6 Hp
Move1: Wood Hammer
Move2: Crunch
Move3: Earthquake
Move4: Leech Seed

Stragety:
Mainly the Shell Bell recovers its HP a bit after Wood Hammer.
Its Adamant nature supports Attack (Physical).
Leech Seed helps in addition to the Shell Bell.
Crunch and Earthquake are pretty good attacks.
Overgrow boosts Grass moves by 50% when its health is less than 33%
Overall Torterra is Super-effective against 10 Types and is weak against 4 types.

{empoleon} @ Leftovers | Torrent | Lonley
Evs: 252 Sp. Attk, 126 Attk, 126 Speed, 6 Hp
Move1: Drill Peck
Move2: Grass Knot
Move3: Surf
Move3: Avalanche

Its Mild nature supports its Sp. Atk.
Avalanche (for me) is used after the opponent's move regardless of Speed and inflicts double the damage if it is used 2nd.
Leftovers Help recover some of the damage that is used for Avalanche.
Surf in combo with its Sp. Attack inflict high damage.
Torrent is the same as Overgrow, but with water attacks.
Drill Peck is very powerful.
Grass Knot can be used against some of its heavier opponents, such as Ryperior.
Overall super-effective against 13 and weak against 3.

Would this be a good moveset for Nnjask?

Double Team
Agility
Swords Dance
Baton Pass

You can perhaps Baton Pass it to Rhyperior.

Eartquake
Hammer Arm
Ice Fang
Crunch

Super effective on 14 types :P

I dont think that ninjask moveset is very "creative"
But anyways, no one kill me if this has already been suggested, but one of my FAVORITE movesets ever ;D

{Breloom}
@ toxic orb
Poison Heal
(Im not sure of a good nature here)
Evs:???

Facade
Focus Punch
Substitute
Leech Seed

Strategy:
Idealy, you would baton pass a maxed swords dance ninjask into this breloom. Then, facade would probably be unstopable. I mean, with maxed out attack and a few speed boosts from a bping ninjask, facade would pwn. Toxic orb makes you poisoned, but you gain health with poison heal. And, facade is (i think its) doubled because of the status ailment. Also sub punches, and makes a very effective drainer because of poison heal and leech seed.

Sorry, but I don't think you can have 633 EVs on a Pokemon...

This is one of my favorite Swampert sets, but it fails against any Pokemon without any attacking moves (Toxitanks most namely)

{swampert}(Impish)&Lefties/Lum
252HP/252ATK/4DEF or 252HP/128DEF/128SP.DEF
Protect
Counter
Mirror Coat
Brick Break/Earthquake/Rest/Stealth Rock

This set may work better in RSE (obviously without Stealth Rock) due to the introduction of some moves in DP that'll rip this apart.

The idea is to use Protect to see what the opponent has planned. If you want to, you can use EQ/BB for a quick KO if necessary, or you can Stealth Rock (Debatable). If they're trying to sweep you, use the corresponding move (Counter/Mirror Coat) and get a free knockout. Brick Break is to take care of Umbreon, Blissey, and others, and EQ is a good stab move. It works best with Taunt (BP?), seeing as the opponent could use a sub. Protect a few times every now and then to see if they're trying to be sneaky and switch from Physical/Special to the opposite. Rest if you happen to be near low on HP, and with Lum. Stealth Rock and Rest go with set 2, and BB/EQ with set 1. Lefties with Sweeping moves and Stealth Rock. Switch out if you come across a Poke that can ruin this strategy.

Ev's:"252 Hp;124 Sp Def;124 Def.10 Sp Atk

Heal Bell/Rest?

Psychic/Toxic?

Rest Is There If You Want Him As More Of A tank, But Sleep For 2 turns Is a Problem So I stick With Heal Bell.Light Screen And Reflect Help It Stay Alive,
And If You Need to, Switch Out.Toxic If You Know They Don't Have A Cleric
(Works Against My Friend), But Keep Psychic If You Need to Make some Damage. He Has Killed Stuff On BattleNet. Similar To Blissey, But More Versatile But Weaker.Too Bad It Can't Learn Any Recovery Moves.

Also, How About a Drainer Cradily?

Cradily@Leftovers
Ev's:Hp 252; The Rest On the Def Of Your Choice; 6 Spd
Nature: + Def Or Sp def -Atk
Suction Cups

Ingrain
Recover
Rock Slide
Toxic/Sandstorm

{mismagius}@Leftovers

Its probably obvious what this is for: Mean look the pokemon, then perish song it, then mean look the other pokemon if youre in a double battle. And its probably been mentioned, but I didnt feel like going through 72 pages to make sure :/

I gonna try something...

This is the standard moveset

Relicanth @ Leftovers/Chesto
Adamant | Swift Swim
252 Atk, 129 Sp Def, 129 HP - OR - 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
~Rock Slide/Stone Edge
~Earthquake
~Aqua Tail/Waterfall
~Rest/Yawn/Rock Polish/Rain Dance

Physical Sweeper. Rock Polish/Rain Dance with the second EV spread. ***

Now mine version of it...

Relicanth @ Chesto Berry
Impish | Rock Head
Ev: Hp:252 Att & Def:129
-Head Smash
-Earthquake
-Stealth Rock
-Rest

Physical Wall some attack and SR spiker.

Persian @ Leftovers
Adamant | Technician
6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd

Iron Tail
Aerial Ace
Faint Attack
Return

...because Technician'd Faint Attack is better power than Night Slash. Iron Tail beats Rocks (or tries to).

You could also have 90 power Fake Out.

Or, how about the Tanky Magcargo

Magcargo @ Leftovers
Calm | Flame Body
252 HP, 100 Def, 29 SpAtk, 129 SpDef

Flamethrower
Acid Armor/Yawn
Amnesia
Recover

...OK maybe not. HP is too low.

Timid, 252 SP ATK 252 SPEED, Timid also's max speed, instead of Dark Pulse/Night Shade, Shadow Bal/Thunderbolt could be considered, or either Taunt.

Shadow Ball for STAB also it can take of some threats, T-bolt is good for Skarmorys and Gyaradoses, T-Bolt works on Floatzol and co in the BL tier. In the BL tier there are lots of water and flying pokemon.

Also I have a MixTaria set...

{altaria} @Life Orb
Not sure about the nature, 100 HP 205 SP ATK 205 ATK
Dragon Pulse
Flamethrower
EQ
Roost

Nothing resists Dragon/Fire, except Heatran, EQ takes care of that, Roost Heals Altaria coz of the Life Orb dmg.
