I was sitting on my bed, and I had this idea on how we could all battle each other with our Pokemon teams! All you do is you find someone you want to challenge, and you battle on this using the Damage Calculator and other things. In cases of Burn, Sleep, etc, flip a coin. The stats required to battle here are:

Name of every Pokemon
HP, Attack, Spc. Atk, Spc. Def, Defense, Speed for every pokemon
Moves for every Pokemon (includes Accuracy, and Power)

When you are posting your turn up on this topic, it should look like this:

(your name) vs (opponent)
(Your name)'s turn

(Pokemon) used (move)

(list any status ailments here)

(Opponent's Pokemon) is on (list health)

Is is CRUCIAL that you keep a record of the battle, whether it be on this topic, or on your own hard drive.

There shall also be a competition table. Everyone who battles here shall automatically be entered into the competition table. Occasionally there will be tournaments to decide the best Pokemon team!

You receive 5 points for a win, 3 for a draw and 1 for a loss.

Let the battling begin!

P.S: If you have any questions, PM me.

Or we could get the Elites to bring the Battlebots back into the chats and you could battle without having to calculate anything.

But if I remember correctly (don't take this as absolute truth, I'm probably wrong), the Battlebots were lost when we moved from the aXpi server we were on before our move to Gamespy/Classic Gaming.

Even if they weren't lost, there would need to be a bunch of people wanting to battle to convince the Elites that it's worthwhile to have them online. Enough people that the bots would be in use the majority of the time we have people up (which is about noon to 10:00PM EST). Or at least enough that the bots wouldn't be sitting there for days on end doing nothing.

I believe the Bots still live on TK's and/or DM's computer, but we've tried to bring them back a few times, with little success. We need a strong demand for them, and people have to be in the chats. Right now, there's me, F_W, and Mr. Saturn. That's not strong demand. The Bots are amazing pieces of software, but until more people get into the chats, I don't see it being worth the E4's time to bring them back.

Of course, that's just my opinion. They may think differently.

I am defintely with you there. But if we can't bring them back, then we may as well do it the old-fashioned way.

Sorry about this revive, sorta, it's like a month old. Anyways, this would be great! It would be very helpful to have the bots up, but as Heracross said, "we might as well do it the old fashioned way". I would be interested in netbattle, but don't want to download anything now, also, howdo you know accuracy and power? I know me and my typhlosion are just itchin' to battle though.
