There's about nine more days to the World Cup, so here's a little trivia about the World Cup for all who's interested. I haven't decided on what will be given to the winner(s), so just participate for the time being Current Scores milktank_94: 5 points Eswin: 2 points Question 1 Which of the lists below correctly identifies the country that each player is from? 2 points will be given for the correct answer, and 1 extra point will be given for each error in the other lists that you are able to point out. List A: Eddie Johnson - England, Deco - Brazil, Edwin van der Sar - Holland, Ivan Ergic - Serbia and Montenegro List B: Hernan Crespo - Argentina, Jesus Arellano - Spain, Alex - Brazil, Kasey Keller - US List C: Collin Samuel - Trinidad and Tobago, Lukas Podolski - Germany, Theo Walcott - England, Pauleta - Portugal List D: Pauleta - Brazil, Andre Ooijer - Holland, Kali - Iran, Nikola Zigic - Serbia and Montenegro Example on how to answer, and how points are awarded: List A: Akwa - Mexico, Petr Cech - Czech Republic List B: Mark Schwarzer - Australia, Shinji Ono - Japan Answer: List B is correct (two points awarded). Akwa in List A is from Angola, not Mexico (1 bonus point awarded) Total: 3 Points |

The answer is C. In list A, Deco is from Portugal not Brazil. In list D, Pauleta is from Portugal, not Brazil. And in List B, Alex is from Japan, not Brazil. |

Japan: Hidetoshi Nakata, Naohiro Takahara, Shinji Ono, Alex, Koji Nakata, Shunsuke Nakamura South Korea: Park Ji-Sung, Lee Chun Soo, Park Chu Younh, Cho Jae Jin, Kim Nam II, Lee Woon Jae, Lee Young Pyo, Ahn Jung Hwan Iran: Ali Daei, Ali Karimi, Vahid Hashemian, Rahman Rezaei, Mehdi Mahdavikia milktank_94 gets 2 points for naming all four countries correctly, plus an additional 3 points for naming the players. Minor spelling mistakes are ignored. Points were not awarded for Hidetoshi Nakata and Mohammed Deayea, however, Nakata's full name wasn't given, and Deayea was spelled too differently. magic gets 1 point. -------------------------------------------- Question 3 Name: 1.
