I challenge Skull Kid to a Sig competition!! (My butt's going to be sore after this... ><)

We're both excellent sig makers, (well Skull Kid is) so i think the might be a fair challenge.

This will be three rounds long, and the first person to post in this thread can decide the theme, just don't post soemthing like "It has to have a house in it" post soemthing like "Dark-themed" or "Zelda themed"

Okay,with Magus's permission I will do the Theme. The theme for this round is General. So just do a sig on what you like or something you like that you made in the past and post it up.

Raters and Competetors round one has started.

That's pretty much the Art Competitions that stopped since RL hasn't been on mch lately.

And since it's a pokemon forums we have to do this:

Not bad Magus. Looks nice. Majora's Mask + Green = perfect combo.


Now then, here's my work.

The sig itself wasn't that hard, but the animation gave me a little difficulty. Getting him to go super the way I wanted it wasn't easy, but I'm happy with the results.

It might look a little grainy, but that's because it's a gif. I couldn't make it look any less grainy than that. :/

Guys, both those sigs are awesome. This is a tough one, but SK gets the win from me. The blending is great, and so is the animation. Magus, I don't like how yours is really large. Large sigs do not impress me as much, because of the numerious number of members with very very VERY large sigs. Also, yours isn't too colorful, and color is something that gets my attention. However, it is a great sig, good job to the both of you.

Magus: 7/10

SK: 9/10

Magus: 8/10. The trio of green characters, as well as the positioning of them make this a pretty dang good sig.
Skull Kid: 9/10. You're right, the transition between the two modes is awesomely done. The only part I don't like is the "shadow", it seems a bit out of place.

May I rate? If so, just to speed up the process:

SK: 9/10 Love your sigs. They're all great. Personally I think the grainy version is better than the non-grainy one, but that's just me. The colours also so suit really well and teh detail is awesome.

Magus: 7/10 A good sig, but the overall greenness makes me cringe. Also Yoshi looks a little weird with the streaking. But the Majora's mask looks great.

Can Flarey be a rater too? If I can, I'll rate now to be quicker.

Magus: 8/10 Very nice. I know it's just a small detail, but I quite like the faint green glow around the edges of the mask on the background. Its those small details that I look for , and that count. Neat work, and the colors work very well together.

SK: 7/10 Very good, as usual, but that's what lost marks. It's the same old same old Skull Kid thing, yet very nice with it. I love the background, but all your sigs seem to be of that exact template - cool background, pic on one side, writing on the other (dont eat me) Still awesome work, and I like the fire-like color theme.

Okay now that all the raters have rated next round. No more raters from here unless it is okay with Magus. This time the theme will be pokemon. So come up with a pokemon sig.

I think to make this a fraction more fair, we should have it that either you both animate them or neither of you do. Considering this is a sig comp, we should be looking at the quality of your sigs, not your animating skills. I vote no animations. Who's with me?
