Round 2:

M1: {houndoom} - I've trained a Houndoom before, and it's pretty awesome. Shuckle has impressive defensive stats, but he's not my favorite.

M2: {espeon} - Eeveeloution gets a slight edge over the computer pokemon.

M3: {flareon} - Evolved eeveeloution beats Eevee.

M4: {dragonite} - Well, this sucks, having my two remaining sponsored pokemon facing off against each other. I've got to pick the original dragon, though.

Match1: Houndoom - As JsXtm has said Houndoom is pretty awesome.

Match2: Espeon - Magic bounce is very goodimo

Match3: Flareon - I'm sponsoring it

Match4: Dragonite - My favourite of the two

SCOREBOARD STAGE 1

So here are your progress results! Shuckle has a small lead over Houndoom, but with both sponsors withholding their sponsor vote at the moment things could be tighter still! 1 vote separates the Psychic eon over the virtual duck - who will get on top of this one? Eevee proves that just cos you're smaller, doesn't mean you're a write off - and Dragonite refinds his form in this matchup: he'll be relieved seeing as he only just struggled to get through the first round!

HOWEVER, I have incoming news from within the arenas itself!

Match 1: "The arena is hit by a Bounce attack!"
Match 2: "The arena is hit by a Natural Gift attack!"
Match 3: "The arena is hit by an X-Scissor attack!"
Match 4: "The arena is hit by an Earthquake attack!"

Shuckle and Houndoom both take neutral damage from flying, so nothing happens.
Espeon and Porygon both take neutral damage from normal, so nothing happens.
Flareon has a bug resistance so will gain a +1 benefit.
Dragonite has a ground immunity so will gain +3, whereas Steelix is weak to ground so will be hit with -1.

So, everything is a very tight race except for match 4... Which has Dragonite absolutely destroying Steelix.

All goes according to plan, since Eevee and Espeon will end up getting 5 votes each from Master Eevee with 50k Psybucks.

ROUND 2: PART 2!

MATCH 5: [10] AERODACTYL VS POLITOED

COMMENTARY: These two are absolutely evenly matched coming into this fight! You'd think Aerodactyl's stats would've given him some hope of a lead, but Politoed's handy typing negates any chance of the prehistoric raptor any bonus points! These two had very tight victories in the first round, only winning out both their matches by 2 votes, so it will be interesting to see what happens here. What's also will be interesting is where sponsor twistedturtwig will cast his vote behind.

MATCH 6: [2] MEWTWO VS SNUBBULL

The biggest surprise of the Battle Royale so far - Snubbull annihilating the seeded Articuno and his friends by a whopping 11 votes. Not only this, but Snubbull is now the highest polling Pokemon ever in both rounds of Battle Royale in the 1st round. Can he keep the momentum going? He's up against uber cat Mewtwo who also stormed home pretty strongly in his match. My head and my heart say the badass feline will come up on top in this tussle - but I've got a gut feeling this will be more than competitive!

I'm not going to vote just yet, because I'd like to see how well each of my two sponsored Pokemon are received by the other voters. However, when I do vote, I'll be voting for Snubbull, since it really deserves to go on, rather than Mewtwo, which I find highly overrated.

And I love how mistriss and I get to lay back and relax this round, since both of us have our own Pokemon competing against each other. 8-)

-The prehistoric dinosaur both rocks in terms of design, and rocks in terms of gameplay. Politoed is meh.

-I'm not sure why everyone is rooting on Snubbull. Mewtwo is obviously the stronger pokemon, and come one; remember all the way back to Red and Blue, how impressive Mewtwo was? That's why it's awesome.

M5 - {aerodactyl} I actually like both of these options, but evenutally decided on Aerodactyl, because it's based on a Pterodactyl, which are awesome
M6- {snubbull} Snubbul is a dog, mewtwo is kinda cool but I don't really like it that much.

Pretty close between the two, only a few votes separating them. Aerodactyl races out to an early lead, whilst opinion is more divided on Mewtwo and Snubbull, cat vs dog. Who'll get up on top?
