Post subject:  Sneaky Sneasel's Question of the Day!

Hello, and welcome to Sneaky Sneasel's Question of the Day! In here, I will post a question, riddle, puzzle, or some other test of wit per day. The first person to correctly guess the question's answer will get 100 Psybucks, unless they are a staff member.

Of course, there are some rules.

1. You will have until the next day to answer the question, as in by 11:59:59 p.m. est. I will usually post the questions a quarter before noon EST, so you'll have a good 12+ hours before time is up.

2. The question will be be completely random. From Pokemon to the French Revolution and everything in between. No topic is safe.

3. I'd prefer if you did not cheat...but like I can do anything to stop you from doing so.

4. This will go on for some time, until December 31, 2007.

---

Anyway, let's start!

1. The same five letters, if rearranged, will make two different words to fill in the blanks in the following sentence.

Those who wish to be good - - - - -, it is said, must have excellent memories, otherwise their stories run off the - - - - -.

The letters are A, I, L, R, and S. Liars and Rails are the words formed by them

two five-letter words that use the exact same letters, except rearranged (i.e. rat and tar both have three letters but the letter order is different).

Green. Very much random. Better than cheating though right?

Post subject:

Umm... maybe ordinary yellow?

As in, not sunflower yellow? xD

I'm gonna guess nothing because there was no Dolly Madison for first lady. I'm probably wrong, since there probably was a Dolly Madison or someone named that in that room.....

thekiller0703 gets the right answer; it was just regular yellow. Also, Dolly Madison was the First lady to James Madison, the 4th President of the USA.

If you guys already know the answer and it's been said already, why do you even bother posting? Seriously, post count +1 doesn't work here anymore.

9/02: In a strange town, there are only two barbers. Looking into the barber shops, you see that one barber is messy and disorganized, and has a terrible haricut. The other barber is neat and tidy, and has a beautiful haircut. Which one do you pick to cut your hair and why?

Post subject:

The second one, b/c I want my hair to be clean and tidy? ;O

Author:  Krisp [ Sun Sep 02, 2007 1:34 pm ]
Post subject:

The messy one, because he cut the other barber's hair, and it looks beautiful?

Author:  Kawaii Angel [ Sun Sep 02, 2007 1:43 pm ]
Post subject:

Well, I would watch each one cut someone's, and chose whoever seems better. Then, I would wonder why I'd want to cut the hair that I just took so long to have grown back.....
Just being honest....

Author:  Cherrygrove [ Sun Sep 02, 2007 1:53 pm ]
Post subject:

Im going to elaborate a little more on Krisp's post.....

Seeing as there are only two barbers and well, you cant really cut your own hair (well, you'know  ) That means they the barbers must cut eachothers' hair. The barber with the bad cut gave the other guy a good one, and the barber with the good cut gave the other guy a bad cut.... so I would go to the messy barber..

Post subject:

The Messy One, Because both Barbers cut each others hair: The neat one cut the messy one's hair and vice versa.

Author:  thekiller0703 [ Sun Sep 02, 2007 3:57 pm ]
Post subject:

The neat one because he grew arms out of the back of his head to cut his own hair...
Post count +0!

The messy one. What they said ^^^^ and that he probably gets more business. That could be why his hair is so messy, he gets so many orders that it makes him look unkept.
