Yes, that'll work fine. As long as the bug type is at least half and the normal type is atleast half normal.

Like a Heracross + Bibarel would be fine

Snorlax means "Snotsalmon"
And Surskit means "Soursh*t"

I thoght P O K E spriter was the best, and yet he/she just got third!

Mine was color matching and IMO, quite creative, but I can see that it failed on looking realistic.

I'll update with round 2 entry later.

EDIT:

Whoa, this one was hard..
Well, i used blazikens face, celebis body, suicune's head thingy and phyone's head tail thingy, and then I recolored everything ecxept for the water parts.. I'm going for color sheme and creativity this time.

I decided to pop by today and make this fusion. Took me a while to think about what to fuse, but I came up with this conclusion

{ninetales} + {parasect} + {torterra} + {crawdaunt} = Image

I call it Torsectdaunt
