Post subject:  Quiz Game (Just for Fun)

This activity is just for fun; there is no reward, seeing as I am new and have not alot of psybucks ;(. There will be fifty questions, each having different point values. I will ask the questions five at a time, and to answer, simply post the number, followed by your answer, with only one answer per question. Hope you like it!

1 (1 point). Name a pokemon which has no weaknesses.

2 (2 points). Name two different pokemon which learn exactly the same moves at exactly the same levels.

3 (1 point). Name the pokemon which usually does not take damage from 12 of the 17 types of attacks.

4 (1 point). What "item" can be used to obtain Deoxys in Emerald, Firered, or Leafgreen?

5 (3 points). Explain how to obtain mew legally in RBY.

5. Fly to Celadon city and take the underground path to Lavender town, emerage from the buidling, save, and take one step and immediatly press start and fly to Cerulean City. While there, your start will be cancelled, walk up nugget bridge, go right and walk as far away from the youngster as you can and make sure he walks to you to battle him. Once you have beaten him, then fly to Lavender town, and walk west. As you enter route 8 your menu will pop up, close it to initiate battle with Mew, it is level 7 and only knows pound!

5.) First off, you need to have NOT beaten the youngster with the Slowpoke that is by Bill's house or the Gambler between Celadon and Lavender. Second, you must have fly. Be sure to have a weak Pokemon that can safely weaken a Pokemon at LV 7, or just take some Ultra Balls along. Go through the underground passage and as soon as you exit, don't move. Save at this point, because if you mess up the next step the whole glitch is ruined. Once you have saved, walk one step down and immediately press start. If you did it right the Gambler won't notice you. Go straight to the Pokemon status screen and fly to Cerulean City--you'll notice that once you start flying, the Gambler will get the little exclamation point over his head that means he noticed you. Once you have gotten there, you'll notice that your start button doesn't work--it's because the game thinks you are in a battle with the Gambler, and in battles, the start button doesn't work. Walk up Nugget Bridge and find the youngster, but don't walk right up to him, or the game will crash. Walk up so that he will have to walk over to you when he notices you. Beat his Slowpoke, and your start button will work again. Fly to Lavender town. Go left--towards where the Gambler is--and when you get into route 8 your start menu will pop up all by itself. DON'T save, press B right away. When the start menu closes, you will be attacked by a LV 7 Mew! Catch it, and then rejoice!

What happened to the rule about each person only answering ONE QUESTION per round?
Anyway...
I don't know 8, but 9 has not been answered yet/cannot be answered. There is no pokemon that always can, because if Groudon is facing Rayquaza, Air Lock supercedes Drought, and Solarbeam takes 2 turns to fire, thus there is an exception to the always. Sorry.
And 10 is Curse. It has different effects on Ghost and other typed pokemon.

8) RubySapphire: there's only two (Banette/Dusclops (Ruby and Sapphire combined)) in the wild, three (Banette, Shedinja, Dusclops) which are trained (in the Battle Tower). But in Emerald, there are five (the previous three, plus Gengar and Haunter in the Battle Frontier).

Sorry JsXtm, but the rule was one answer per QUESTION, not one answer per round. I'm sorry about the solarbeam question, but I think it would be unfair if I took the point away from spriter. The new scores are as follows:

StarLatias - 6
Poke Spriter - 3
JsXtm - 3
Auzzie - 3
Stevens - 1
Mudkipman - 0
Kooleo - 0

New questions coming soon.

Where's my point?

For question #5, nintendo events weren't the only way to acquire mew. It took me a long time to post that mew thing, so don't I get some credit?

12 (1 point). In Firered Leafgreen, after you beat the Elite Four a certain legendary dog pokemon is released into the wild. Which of these dogs is the only one that's not super effective on the starter pokemon it's associated with?

13 (2 points). In PD, name a pokemon which evolves using a dark stone. DONE (hehe, trick quesion, apparentely)

12: All are not super effective, not just 1 cuz

Charizard -> Suicune = Fire + Water, Water wins
Blastoise -> Raikou = Water + Electricity, Electricity wins
Venusaur -> Entei = Grass + Fire, Grass no more.

I'll answer the ones that don't say "DONE" at this point.

11. 16 styles.

12. Uh, Mutant Mewtwo is right. None of them are not super effective! BTW SulfoniX, the question was: What dog isn't super effective normally on the starter? The answer, which you demonstrated, is of course none.

14. Red Gyarados, Orange Meowth, Green Espeon, and a Light Orange Seaking. The last 3 are in Trainer Tower in FRLG, the first is in Lake of Rage in GSC.
