I know, it's a type of water. It's also the name of this female pokemon (although gender is 50/50), whom I plan to evolve. Another of this same species I plan to keep at it's first evolution.

Aquafina is not a water-type. There is some advantage (in my mind) for both evolving this pokemon (what I'll do with Aquafina) and not evolving it (what I'll do with another of the same species.)

And why on earth would I not evolve a Magikarp? :P

No to all guesses so far. I can't get Nincada or Vigoroth (FR). And daveshan, no, they do not count as the same guess.

Hmm... Alright, another hint. This species of pokemon is in the anime. Open to reguesses.
