Sure, I will go ahead and sign up for this.

Name: John, FC: 0002-8724-5728

I have a few questions though, are all of the matches going to be 6v6 100 Singles or are you using another set? Also are you limited to the pokes you use originally or are you free to switch out between matches/rounds?

All are single 6vs6 you can freely change your pokes between rounds.

Reguarding legal stats, moves and abilitys does this mean near-perfect hacks are allowed?
Because if hacks are allowed I won't enter.
I'll post my friend code later if they aren't.

Not sure what you mean here, but so long as the pokemon have correct stats, moves and 510 total EVs they are allowed. Sorry, but I don't have the ability to prod through every entrants game to see if they used pokesav or AR to make their pokes.

If you do feel the opposing player has a hacked poke send the battle video to me to review.

I do hacks but I hack it to the standards that people who do it "right" stop. Which means I usually have one IV at 31, one at 30, one or two in the high twenties, and two others in the slums.

I use AR to an extent, I use it for rare candies and to relearn moves instead of TM hunting/rebreeding for an egg move. Everything in regards to breeding is legit.

Also Shina you still owe me that Marowak for your tourney :p

Everyone knows that a pokemon that has perfect IVs in every stat isnt fair

I wouldn't say that is true, if you were to RNG abuse a pokemon which is considered legal in official nintendo tournaments you could actually obtain perfect IVs in ALL stats if you hit the right seed... with that said, I think Shina setting his IVs below this is even more fair to other players. In reality, the game is broken no matter how you look at it. If you did the transform mimic glitch and traded to HG/SS you could have a Machamp with No Guard and Sheer Cold without the use of any external device whatsoever. Nonetheless, I think the item clause in a 6v6 singles is going to be a pain as well, skarmbliss combos thrive on leftovers, but it will be fun to play regardless.

I didn't say 31 IVs in every stat was illegal or impossible, just that its unfair, especially when all of the pokemon on your Team are Near Perfect

Glitches are an entirely different story because they are not viable in legal play (while some pokesav pokemon can pass through)

Alright I'm stopping this discussion here.

Breeding for 4 IVs isn't hard, 5 is a bit tedious but 5/6 for my team currently have it. Legit everything including the parents and dittos. Breeding for Hidden power is an absolute pain but I've gotten 2 all 30/31 HP users total, and I refuse to do more.

Resend me the specs Munch and you will get it along with your EV trained Pokes.

Some people don't have the time to do everything legally so its the way the game goes. So hacking is fine and dandy to me and doesn't take away from the game. In no way can the game be fair no matter what so I will kindly say, if you don't like hacked Pokemon being in the tournament don't join. BTW I have lsot more than I have won.

Any further discussion regarding hacking in this topic will be deleted and the perpetrator will receive an official forum warning. If Chef wants to allow hacks in his tournament, then all the power to him. You aren't being forced to participate.

If enough players want it removed I will remove it. Personally I prefer it to make battles more interesting, as set prediction is harder since items will consist of more than lefties,LO,Choice and it puts out more diverse sets.

I'd like to enter, if you still are in need of more people.

In regards to the item clause, I think battles would be a lot more interesting with it. Instead of seeing all of the familiar sets it would add some diversity to the game.

Idk what times I am going to be around, I just got an email from 2 of my instructors and apparently we are going to be moving our computer courses up a week so I will be doing some massive studying. Tomorrow I should be able to get on sometime after 10 PM PDT, which would be terribly inconvenient for anyone on the east coast. Tuesday would be between 1 PM and 4 PM. Wed the same as Mon, and Thursday I will not be able to get on at all, possibly the same for Friday.
