Post subject:  Gardevoir move set?

Lately ive veen using my all time fav (gardevoir) and I gave it 252 sp. attack evs and 100 to def and sp. deff then i dumped the rest of it into hp.

(im not really speed/ sweeper fan)

and I would like to know a good mostly offencive moveset that can couner most other types.

so far im just using:

psychic
thunderbolt
icy wind ( battle frontier move tutor) helps make up for low speed too =)
and i just realized shadow ball is a phisical move in emerald for some reasn... any sugjestions?

Calm mind in the last slot with leftovers for the item.

Also spellcheck.

Yeah, go with a calm mind tanking set. Personally I'd prefer Ice Beam to Icy Wind for the power, but I'm not sure if Gardevoir can learn that O_o. Another possibility if you have access to the move tutors on FireRed/LeafGreen is Thunder Wave, which I think would be even more useful, since Psychic and Thunderbolt give you decent coverage to begin with, the only pokemon that can't hit in RSE are Magneton, Shiftry, Cacturne, Claydol, Shedinja and Exeggutor

Nope, Also with icy wind adjust your speed to 247 to outspeed base 120's after one drop. or or 217 to outspeed base 100's.

Yes, the battle frontier tutors can teach thunder wave. but icy wind gives me all the speed reduction i need.

calm mind seems to be a popular sugjestion so i might go with that.

howvever i was thinking about a light screen / reflect combo double battle strategy because Its defences are a bit lower than what makes me comfortable, and i have plenty of other pokemon to share the other screen because lots of pokemon can learn them.

Well if you're doing doubles icy wind is even more useful since it cuts both opponents speeds, but screens have less effectiveness (half the damagre reduction of a single battle)
