Personally, I prefer Gardevoir over Gallade. Except for the Sp.Atk-Atk swap between pokemon, they have the exact same stats.

Gardevoir can also survive psychic attacks perfectly, Gallade can't (although Gallade can survive dark type attacks, whule Gardevoir has a tough time doing so.) Also, Gardevoir gets better abilities than Gallade.

I mainly prefer Gardevoir because she has been on my team ever since my days in Hoenn. Plus, she is pretty.

I still find it weird how there can be male Gardevoir. I mean c'mon, does Gardevoir look male to you!?

wow...I'm shocked at the results so far & I'm choosing since it has better attack type variety. Focus Blast, Night Slash, Psycho Cut & Stone Edge. Though has just as awesome type variety.

Well, for all of you saying has better attack type variety than i would have to disagree. Although Gallada has a very nive move pool so does Gardevoir. Lets say both of them are intended to be sweepers. A decent Gallade sweeper move set is: Phsyco Cut, Leaf Blade, Night Slash, Brick Break. Pretty good type coverage there. A good Gardevoir sweeper move set is : Thunderbolt, Psychic, Energy Ball, Focus Blast. Again good type coverage. So I think we agree they both have good attack type coverage.

Considering Gardevoir looks way prettier i would choose Gardevoir. Gallade does get STAB for more moves though. I think it really depends on the rest of your team. You don't want like 3 fighting pokemon so pick Gardevoir. But if you want a fighting pokemon on your team pick Gallade.

really i like them both, but if i could only use one, then i would choose gardevoir simply because ive used it before and know how to make it deadly. i have never used gallade, but it looks pretty awesome. of course gardevoir looks um, well, pretty pretty, but i only choose gardevoir because i have used it before.
