Random tainer card increase?

Something really odd happend. My trainer card was 2 stars, and increased by 1 star for no apparent reason! I did not accomplish any new stuff, but I did plant an Enigma berry the same day. I was wondering if Enigma berry increases trainer card levels or something or if it triggerd a glitch.

Did you:
1. Beat the Pokemon League for the first time?
2. Complete the National Pokedex?
3. Win 100 Consecutive Battles at the Battle Tower?
4. Win all divisions at the Master Rank of the Pokemon Super Contests? (I only needed to beat the 1 of the Master Ranks to get it upgraded)
5. Upgrade to the Platinum Flag in the Underground?
I don't know how else you could've done it.
