How Wifi battles work: input another person's friend code into your pal pad (it's a key item). The other person has to input theirs. Go online. From there, it should be simple to figure out. Press X to toggle the voicechat option on and off.

Post battles in the Battle Request Thread, or just pm the person you want to battle.
