What's wrong with EV Hacking (Legal 510 limit) or IV (possible 31 IVs) Hacking? It's just a matter of time and Effort...you get the same results if you do it without "Cheating", by using the Action Replay, you get things faster and it saves you a lot of effort without having you cheat in battle. Besides, a few stats will never be more Important than a trainer's skills in battle. You'll have to agree with this, cos faster and less effort + same results is always better. You can however disagree with this if you ENJOY fighting over 80 Pokemon to EV train or Breed many Pokemon to get the right IVs.

In most cases, the hacks that are considered "ethical" are the wild pokemon modifier so you can find the poke you want and the TM modifier. EV hacking and IV hacking should not be allowed in any case, especially because it's almost impossible to get 6 31's anyway.

And there are only two things that matter in competitive battling: How smart the trainer is, and how good the stats are.

I believe that EV and IV hacking should be banned, because it's not fair for someone to spend 5 minutes on something that I spend hours on.

What IS wrong with hacking? Oh yeah, it saves you time and effort. Specifically, the time (hours) i spend on EACH pokemon trying to get them how i want them. AND, the effort of making them have the moves, nature, abilities, IV's I want.

In short, it is not fair for me to spend 10+ hours on ONE pokemon when you can hack your whole team in < 30 minutes.

On a happier note, my gym should be open by Monday :D

If you want to battle for this spot then I'll ask Cuddles or TheKiller to try you guys out for the spot. No battle offs.

And please stop talking about the ethics of cheating. If you are suspicious of someone cheating then make it mandatory for trade checks after your battle whether you win or lose.

Oh well, don't worry...most of my Pokemon have 3 max IVs for their Stats at maximum...the rest are mostly 20+ or 10+...so there realy isn't anything to worry about. They're LEGIT Pokemon except for SOME who were caught Shiny using the Action Replay code. And however much as you won't believe this, I have MAX IVS Pokemon Bred correctly before in the Hoenn Region...Ditto...the prize is a Clone of it however. :)

I would prefer to do the testing 6v6, but if you don't have enough pokes 3v3 is fine too.

If your type is Bug, Electric, or Fire, you can bring 2 pokes that are not your type in 6v6 and 1 in 3v3. For everyone else, 1 in 6v6 and none in 3v3.

Clauses include Sleep, Evasion, OHKO, Hacks, and Ubers/legends.

I expect you to contact me, not the reverse. I think the deadline should be... about a week or two.

Note: You might not get in if you beat me, but you might if you don't beat me. I look for skill and uniqueness only.

What's up with that? I thought we agreed half and half? Now, all of a sudden we have to use FIVE that are our type. It is really not fair, considering that the whole time (it has been a few weeks) we have been going with half and half and now all of a sudden, it is majority. I had my team ready and was going to open Monday, now this will set me back a couple weeks, at the least. :mad:

This is what I want you to battle me with. Undertaker is still deciding on what he wants to do officially. Dark type, for example, can easily defeat Fighting and Bug types.

Those are my rules. If you don't like them, it really sucks for you.

Undertaker has agreed to let me take gym challenges and make my own rules. I made them in the fashion that I believe that the entire system should be made. It's easy to make a great team with only 3 pokemon of a certain type, I usually bring 2 or 3 water types in my game-to-game team.

I'm sure Cuddles will have his rules structured differently, if you would rather contact him.

ex:

Alright Alright, now i understand what's going on for testing. Tk and Cuddles have to abide to the first page rules for the Gyms and have a few rules on the side. I dont think i gave permission to change the alt rule otherwise.

Plus, KOL and 4ever are exempt from the testing. Also, tk and cudd, make sure to test the applicants in addition to the Leaders.

Bushin you cant limit the moves of a pokemon, but you can apply.

Go to 4ever for tech support and...

I REALLY PERFER IF APPLICANTS READ THE RULES ON THE FIRST PAGE!!!
