...against every type. is it even possible? right now he hits neutral against every type save steel. here he is:

Scyther

swords dance
Aerial Ace
X-sci
Night Slash

what to do? can i do anything close to this? AA has to stay and X-sci i believe as well (STAB+ 80 Base + 3 Swords dance = :D ), but if theres a physical bug W/ base power 60 i will replace for technition boost. also, he is passed from a ninjask that gives him SD as well as speed (unless i am foiled) so SD can go if necessary as well. thanks!!!

It's not possible, for any pokemon I can imagine to be super effective on 17 types. You'd need a fighting type, a ground type, an ice type, a grass or electric type, rock or fire type and a dark or ghost type.

barring abilities you'd need 6 moves to be super effective on any mono type.

i didn't think you could, really wouldn't be fair anyway. right now i think i hit 6 types super. what is the best way to increase this/ make him better? or is that the best he can be?

Well, ninjask isn't too hard to foil, but if you're baton passing speed anyway, I'd evolve him into scizor, he'll still outspeed more everything after the speed boosts and he'll do much more damage.

If you want very big type coverage, there are moves like brick break that can go over xscissor, which despite being strong has terrible type overage, especially since night slash and aerial ace already cover two of the types.

It'll also help you with those steel types you mentioned.

yeah, i thought of brick break, but still not sure yet. the only thing i'm iffy about as far as scizor, i don't want him to have to rely on Ninjask for all his speed (he is a sweeper, after all) i think i will get rid of SD for brick break. what about that?

That's fine, but it's easier for ninjask to baton pass speed than to baton pass attack.

scyther is a pretty fragile sweeper though, so if you can get any reliable speed passed then Scizor is the way to go.

Solo, there are stronger choices than scyther, I'd say.
