BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP BEFORE I GO CRAZY AND DESTROY MY COMPUTER!!!

pant... pant... pant... You guys need to stop arguing. It's stupid and spamish. It's apparent you both have completely different opinions over stuff, and just need to live with it. Now, can we all just get along?

I'm just trying to debate with him. I am not "being like this" my first day. I am trying to debate whether Blaziken or Infernape is better as a physical sweeper. I am discussing it. Now since I am trying to prove Blaziken is better, it is logical to point out my opinion that Infernape should be a Special Sweeper, and his Special Stat boosting moves make it clear that is where he should go.

Obviously Blaziken is restricted to being a physical sweeper, but that doesn't automatically make Infernape a Special Sweeper. It makes a good physical sweeper as well, and it is one of the few pokemon that can be a mixed sweeper. You are forgetting that not only does Infernape have Nast Plot and Calm Mind, but it also has Swords Dance and Bulk Up as well; it works well as either because both of its base attack stats are the same. You can use it as a Special Sweeper, and it certainly works better as one than Blaziken does, but it is not exclusively a special sweeper. I personally prefer Infernape as a physical sweeper. The set below should work for both of them as a physical sweeping set, but I am not sure if it would work because I haven't tested it in the game, I just tested it statistically, and I am not even sure if my math is correct.

Blaziken/Infernape @ Scope Lens
Adamant | Blaze
252 Attack; 252 Speed; 4 Hp
Blaze Kick
Sky Uppercut
Swords Dance/Substitute
Sunny Day

Critical Hit(STAB * Blaze * Sunny Day * 3 Swords Dance)

2(1.5 * 1.5 * 1.1 * 6) = 29.7

I am not sure if that equation is accurate, or even if either of those two will live long enough to complete it without either a substitute to activate Blaze and protect yourself, or a Baton Pass from something like Gorebyss with boosted Defences then let them wittle you down to 33%.

I don't know where the attacks power and the attack stat of the user fits into the equation, but Blaze Kick's power, if it hits with a critical hit, should be multplied by almost thirty, so power doesn't really matter after that, because it is still an almost a guarenteed OHKO if it lands, all that is needed are defences and speed.

With both Blaze Kick and Sky Uppercut, this pokemon has an advantage over approximatly 62% of the top fifty pokemon with the best defence stat, not including Arcues, but Drapion instead, so many sponges and tanks, both defencive and special defencive are going to have a hard time with these two, and if speed is passed along, then so are many other pokemon. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong about any of this information.

Basically what you said seems good to me. Yes both can be Special sweepers, Blaziken has higher attack so its physical and inferanape is both.
337 attack 337 Sp.attack is Infernape and Blaziken is 372 attack 350 sp.att
All around they both can be very effective.

Blaziken would still be a better sweeper becuase he has higher attack, high special attack, and high HP.

I have to disagree. (was about to post here, but you appeared so I'll just reply to you)

Speed is extremely important to a sweeper, I've had trouble occasionally with infernapes, but Blazikens were never fast enough to damage my team with anything serious, even when they had a type advantage.

why is jannissary just saying the stuff that he said in almost every post? if you ask me, he's just trying to boost his post count. Infernape with max att EV and EQ would pwn Blaziken

Jannisary you need to learn when to give up, when you have 5 people telling you something and you still don't agree it becomes idiotic. In my opinion and mathmatical senses, Infernape can easily pull off a Phys Sweeper moveset far more efficiently that a Blaziken.

See you look at whos better but not how "good" they are all together. Yes blaziken may have more Atk power, but Infernape is still no Push Over. With his speed advantage he could easily sweep at least 2 pokes on a team. Even a 2-1 Ratio on Wi-Fi is impressive.

Honestly you need to stop arguing, this is the third time I have seen you and Infernape got at it, and sadly this is the third time I have found you wrong. You just need to look at the bigger picture.

My vote goes to Infernape for the better sweeper.

Ummm.....this entire thread is filled with opinion, so why would you call him out? It's purely preference and liking.

I personally prefer Blaziken, as it beats out Infernape in both Attack and Special Attack.

Blaziken, because with this move set Blaziken can cripple others and no type resist's this set

Blaziken&Life orb
252speed 252attack 6hp
Brave bird
Flare Blitz
Earthquake
Sky Uppercut

It may cause huge damage to itself but it has poor defences anyway, one strong move can KO it. But It can outrun many pokemon with the speed EV's

Infernape actually has a higher special attack stat, but does not learn any Decent special attacks.

You could go with Infernape, but Blaziken Can put a very large dent in any Team before it goes out.

Infernape can also learn thunderpunch (sorry if someone aleady said this, I couldn't be bothered checking )

Also, for the message above, a wobbaffet can also puncture a hole in the oponents team before fainting and even then, it takes it's opponent with it if it is lucky enough to have its trainer have it use destiny bond.

Flamethrower, Grass Knot, Hidden Power, and Focus Blast. Any more questions?

Hidden power on Infernape=FAIL
Focus Blast's 70% accuracy=FAIL

Flamethrower and Grass knot are OK but it just isn't enough to make a moveset. :?

Infernape is supposed to be a MIXED sweeper, some of both Spec and Phys.

Seeing as you would not be able to max out all three stats in speed special attack and attack, You would need to pick one or the other. But still Blaziken, Infernape Might be able to catch some water pokemon with T-punch but not many, Grass knot can get better ones but relies on special Attack. Flare Blitz is obvious. A Starmie can easily kill it. A Choice Scarf on blaziken may be an option or Critiken. But it may depend on the team you are using. :?
