Specialize, my friend. Surf, Ice Beam, Flash Cannon, and either Stealth Rock, agility, Yawn, or supersonic.

Lucario @ Jolly, Leftovers -- Inner Focus Lv. 58
ATK:153 -- DEF:121 -- SP.A:138 -- SP.D: 100 -- SPEED:138
Dragon Pulse
Aura Sphere
Bone Rush
Flash Cannon
Bone Rush is phyiscal. Go with Shadow Ball (Fighting + Ghost = no resist).

Drapion @ Adamant, Spooky Plate -- Sniper Lv. 45
ATK:106 -- DEF:116 -- SP.A:62 -- SP.D:84 -- SPEED: 104
Fire Fang
Shadow Ball
Accupressure
Poison Jab
Shadow Ball is special now. Go with earthquake, crunch, or poison spikes instead. Or, x-scissor, (psychics, darks).

(EV's dont matter, really for Novelty)
Tail Glow

Surf > Bubble, With shadow ball, energy ball, ice beam, or psychic > water sport and charm. Aqua Ring could go in there, as well.

Leafeon (Vineon) @ Docile, N/A -- Leaf Guard Lv. 44
ATK:115 -- DEF:133 -- SP.A:70 -- SP.D:63 -- SPEED: 64
Baton Pass
Magical leaf
Energy Ball
Quick Attack
Pointing this out. Leafeon's Atk > Sp.Atk. Leaf Blade, X-scissor, Last resort, swords dance is standard. Nothing hits steels, so be wary. Or, a passer - Swords Dance, Leaf Blade, Baton Pass, Substirute/Wish.

Pokemon: Hopefully a Mamoswine. Please recommend Pokemon.
You can use a bit more defense. Bastiodon, Steelix, or Regirock are good. Or, a mixed sweeper (electivire, infernape, etc.)

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Adamant: 212 HP, 16 Atk, 136 Def, 144 Speed

Ice Fang
Earthquake
Taunt
Dragon Dance

Fairly standard Gyarados. Currently being used as my lead to try and draw electric attacks into Electivire. Fairly common combo but it works well enough. EVs in defense help against rock slide/stone edge

Electivire @ Expert Belt
Jolly: 200 Atk, 56 SA, 252 Speed

Ice Punch
Cross Chop4
Thunderbolt
Earthquake

Part of the combo to activate motor drive. Wide range of attacks allows me to have a good chance of landing a critical strike powered up with the help of the expert belt. Thunderbolt over thunderpunch so I can deal with stuff like Skarmory, Weezing, and Forretress.

Rhyperior @ Leftovers
Jolly-Solid Rock: 136 HP, 136 Atk, 252 Defense

Megahorn
Stone Edge
Swords Dance
Earthquake

Physical wall that helps double as a physical attacker

Blissey @ Leftovers
Bold-Natural Cure: 148 HP, 252 Def, 108 SD

Aromatherapy
Softboiled
Ice Beam
Seismic Toss

Again fairly standard Blissey, not much to say on this one.

Starmie @ Leftovers
Timid-Natural Cure: 172 HP, 136 SA, 200 Speed

Rapid Spin
Recover
Thunderbolt
Surf

Removes spikes/stealth rock. Also serves as a counter to Infernape and Rhyperior

Weavile @ Choice Band
Jolly: 4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Speed

Brick Break
Pursuit
Ice Punch
Aerial Ace

Revenge killer. Aerial ace for Heracross and Pursuit for things like Azelf. Consdering using an Expert Belt over the Choice Band as well to keep my options open.

I'm a little concerned with some coverage with this team. My main concern is Metagross though I feel I have enough coverage against pokemon weak to ground. Tyranitar is another maybe but Cross Chop and Brick Break help against that. Heracross is another prime concern since I can't really switch into it. Gliscor over Rhyperior is an option to help with that.

Torment

I was wondering if this was a good move set for my Infernape
if anyone has any suggestion, plz pm

I'm sorry, I didn't relaize how small :( It works better as a mixed, with flamethrower/fire blast > flame wheel, sky uppercut > Mach Punch, and Swords Dance/Rock Slide > Torment (its defenses are too frail - and torment is useless, IMO).

*Another Update Lol*
Edit: OK, I will post my updated plan as there are lots more requested teams before mine lol.

Togekiss
Serene Grace
EV spread: 252 SP. Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP (Help?)
Quiet (I know a terrible nature but I don't feel like breeding for modest -_-)
Air Slash (Mega Flinch Hax)
Flamethrower/Fire Blast
Psychic/NastyPlot/SoftBoiled
Shadow Ball

~Special Sweeping Status thingy~
Hmm...I prefer something close to CM Blissey for AdvGen - Nasty Plot, T-bolt, Ice Beam, Wish/Roost. Or, instead of bolt-beam, go with aurasphere + shadow ball (ghost + fighting = no resist)

Gliscor
(I forget what nature, post recommended one?)
EVS:252 spd, (252 atk?)
(Forgot which Ability also, oh well)
(Attack Move)
Swords Dance
Agility
Baton Pass
Adamant or Jolly. Eartyhquake/Aerial Ace/Rock Slide for attack move. But, its not a good passer. Go for all 3 attacking moves, plus Swords Dance.

Electivire
Motor Drive
EVS: 252 atk, 252 spd, 6 sp.def
Adamant
EQ
Ice Punch
Cross Chop
Thunderpunch
This is a good mixed sweeper - t-bolt, Ice punch, Substitute, Focus punch (t-bolt takes care of the oh-so-predictable flying counters that are not immune to electirc, and catches dyarados off guard.

Blissey @ lefties
Natural Cure
Bold
EVs:126 Def, 152 SP ATk, 232 HP (I think that equals 512)
SoftBoiled
Calm Mind
Ice Beam
T-Bolt
252 Def, always. 256 to be split between HP and Sdef/SAtk.

Skarmory *Shiny*
Docile
need help with EVs, thinking 252 Def, something something...
Toxic
Spikes
Night Slash
Substitute?
Impish nature, 252 HP. The rest in speed and Def/Sp.Def. Drill Peck > Night Slash (STAB).

Gallade *shiny*
Steadfast
252 atk, 252 spd, 6 sp def
Adamant
Night Slash
Leaf Blade
Close Combat/Brick Break
Psycho Cut
Brick Break, you'll be in for a long time, probably. Or, @Choice band, and close combat :)

And, for backup if I feel like switching out

Deoxys *shiny*
Attack Forme
Relaxed
252 SP atk, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Psychic
Shadow Ball
TBolt
Calm Mind
@Choice Specs. Ice Beam > Calm Mind.

Mew *Shiny*
Quiet
252 SPatk, 252 Speed, 6 SPDef
Tbolt
Fthrower
Calm Mind
Aura Sphere
Softboiled > T-bolt, and Psychic > Aura Sphere.

Why the scarf? you have 2 supporting moves, the scarf is the choice item that only allows for one move. @Leftovers/Shell Bell. Be aware that you don't really hit steels (nor rocks), so you are warned.

Tentacruel@Black Sludge
Jolly/Clear Body
60 Def, 34 Spd, 252 Sp Atk, 164 Sp Def
~Rapid Spin
~Sludge Bomb
~Surf
~Confuse Ray
(Spinner/Special Sweeper/Special Wall)
Poison spikes may be considered over sludge bomb. Not jolly - calm or modest.

Garchomp@Choice Scarf
Jolly/Sand Veil
252 Atk. 252 Spd, 6Hp
~Dragon Claw
~Earthquake
~Fire Fang

Standard.

252 Hp, 164 Def, 34 Spd, 60 Sp Def
~Shadow Punch
~Will-O-Wisp
~Pain Split
~Return/Seismic Toss(most people's pokemon are lv 100 so it covers his weakness)
(Physical Wall)
Focus Punch or S-toss (Fight+ghost = no resist, they may switch or rest after you burn).

Roserade@???
Timid/Natural Cure
252 Def, 129 Sp Def, 129 Hp
~Leech Seed
~Spikes
~Energy Ball
~Arometherapy
(Cleric/Special Sweeper)
@Leftovers/Petaya Berry. put less EVs in the defenses, more in special attack and speed.

Gallade @ Shell Bell
Jolly | Steadfast
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
~Swords Dance
~Psycho Cut
~Brick Break
~X-Scissor
(Physical Sweeper)
Good - psychic + Bug only has trouble with steels, which brick break deals with :D

Physical sweeper, possibly Baton Passing the Dragon Dance to Lucario if needed unless Fire Punch or Thunderpunch is more important.
http://www.psypokes.com/dex/psydex/149/learnsets Where did you see baton Pass? I know i don't :( In any case, @Leftovers. Depending on if this is a link battle, Fire Blast > Fire punch, for skarmory/forretress.

Arcanine @ Leftovers
Timid 252 Sp. Atk 252 Spd 6 HP
Flamethrower
Sunny Day
Solarbeam
Heat Wave

Special Sweeper. Sunny Day to boost attacks and SD + Solarbeam combo to cover more weaknesses.
Dragon Pulse > Heat wave, so you hit dragons and a couple others. Draon + Fire = no resist. Solar beam allows for killing rocks, grounds, waters.

Arcanine @ Leftovers
Adamant 252 Atk 252 Spd 6 HP
Fire Fang
Crunch/Return/Reversal/Counter/Payback/Roar
Thunder Fang
Extremespeed
Crunch for the second spot.

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Bold/Impish/Calm/Careful 252 HP 128 Sp. Def 128 Def
Toxic
Mean look
Moonlight
?
Breed for wish (moonlight has low pp), and put double team or c-ray on the last spot

Empoleon @?
Docile 128 Atk 128 Sp. Atk 252 Spd
Ice Beam
Surf
Flash Cannon
?
Aqua Ring (so you get back HP), Yawn (force switches), or Stealth Rock (constant damage) @leftovers, with Aqua Ring, and this thing is a beast

Typhlosion @ Leftovers
Timid/Modest 252 Sp.Atk 252 Spd 6 HP
Sunny Day
Solarbeam
Flamethrower
?

Special Sweeper similar to past generations, but Thunderpunch won't work because it's now physical.
Mixed Sweeper - Substitute, Focus Punch, Flamethrower, t-punch/hp grass, with petaya berry (hp divisible by 4). That should solve your problem. Pair with special arcanine (who is sunnyday user. don't rely too much, though - don't use solar beam).

Luxray @ Leftovers
Adamant 252 Atk 252 Spd 6 HP
Thunder Fang
Fire Fang
Ice Fang
Crunch (AKA Dark Fang =P)
@Choice Band/Scarf if you waznt. Good otherwise.

Lucario @ Leftovers
Careful (I already have it, so I can't change the nature) 252 Atk 252 Spd 4 HP
Swords Dance
Earthquake
Cross Chop
Blaze Kick
good.

I know it's 8 pokemon and not 6, but I'll be using Lucario and Luxray until I can get Typhlosion, Dragonite, and Arcanine. (I also have an HM slave - Machop)

Note that I'm using Leftovers as a filler. If there is anything better I'll give up the item slot for it.

Yay, that page is done :D

Aerial Ace
Dragon Pulse
Thunder Wave
Earthquake
Umm, start over. What do you want from this dragonite? Mixed sweeping? Physical Sweeping? Special sweeping? Post and I'll fix.

Starmie @ Wide Lens
Hasty
Hydro Pump
Thunderbolt
Psychic
Recover
Surf > Hydro Pump (accuracy), ice beam > psychic (type coverage with bolt-beam)

Camerupt @ Quick Claw
Timid
Lava Plume
Eruption
Earth Power
Rock Polish
The speed stat is low, so why Timid and Rock Polish? Flamethrower, Earth Power, Sunny Day, Solar Beam. Or, rather than sunny beam, ancient power and yawn.

Lanturn @ Razor Claw
Naive
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Surf
Signal Beam
Rain Dance > Signal Beam, Thunder > T-bolt. The confusion from signal beam is too rare to be useful.

Lucario @ Muscle Brace
Naughty
Aura Sphere
Brick Break
Flash Cannon
Giga Impact
Hmm...A physical sweeper may be better. @Leftovers, swords dance, Brick Break, EQ, Rock Slide.

I prefer oddball Pokemon to try for my team so here are a few for my future Pearl team. Whatcha think?

No. Specialize, and it has a higher special attack than attack. 4 from sludge bomb, shadow ball, t-bolt, psychic, energy ball. @Choice Specs. Modest, 252 SpAtk, 252Speed, 4 HP.

{blissey}
Blissey @Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
Bold: 252 HP / 252 Defense / 6 Special Attack
-Aromatherapy
-Softboiled
-Thunder
-Counter
Thunder with rain dance. Go with seismic toss for constant damage, and thunder wave for status, instead.

{milotic}
Milotic @Leftovers
Ability: Marvel Scale
Bold: 200 HP / 252 Defense / 56 Special Attack
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Surf
-Dragon Pulse
Ice Beam > Dragon Pulse, so you hit grasses as well.

When I start the battle I have two choices: to start spiking or to switch. If I start out with spiking then I go all out until they switch into a fire type(Forretrss's only weakness). If they do I will switch into Houndoom and absorb their fire attack and power up. If I expect a sleep move I will switch into Milotic and absorb it. I've been battling lots of Hypnosis abusers so Sleep Talk is a must. Breloom has the ability which lets you abuse the Toxic Orb and switch in freely on Toxic Spikes. That lets him stay in long and wreak havoc on anything that isn't faster than him. Gengar is there to be an A-hole and make you think twice about switching. You can't get away with it when battling my Gengar especialy after Forrestress is done spiking. Forretress is made to be extreemly slow. I wanted to take full advantage of it so I gave it an Iron Ball to slow it down even more. Gyro Ball gets 150 base power on almost everything due to his massive lack of speed. Blissey is there just to be a cleric and possibly OHKO something with Counter. Please rate my team.

Still to be done:
halu102
St.Cool
Team Rose
chadim
Matt1315
Salamence
Tyranny
Philip
PixelTwist
__Dark_Knight_
SAIRAM
Deoxys65
Artica
DarkPhantom02
Viceroy10
PurpleStarFish
dragonite
raichulover

I might do more later tonight :(
RATERS, IF YOU SEE THIS, PLEASE HELP RATE!!!!!!!

Before I say anything, the things to change are put in italics and my corrections are in color. If it doesn't show well, PM me and I'll redo the italics and use bold or underline instead.

Thank you so much for the rate and ideas Peanut-Lover.

Im just wondering, would Volt Tackle somehow work on a competitive Raichu?

(DT, Volt Tackle, T-wave, Attract) Or is Tbolt better?

I'm quite new to the whole competitive battling scene, but I've been playing since the release of Pokemon Yellow. :D With the release of wifi battling I'm more than motivated to start up my very own team.
I've done some "research," and this is what I've come up with. Because of my lack of experience, though, I'm aware that there might be holes I won't see, glaring weaknesses, flat-out mistakes I'll miss, etc, and before I go through the work to start raising a team I would love feedback on my ideas so far. Any and all feedback is appreciated.
Enough with the blah blah, here's what I'm working with:

Salamence
Adamant@Shell Bell
252atk, 252spd, 4hp
Dragon Claw
Dragon Dance
Brick Break
Earthquake

Physical Sweeper.

Vaporeon
Calm@??
252sp.def, 252spatk?, 4hp
Toxic
Roar
Ice Beam
Surf/???

Special Sweeper/Toxi-roarer.

Torkoal
Relaxed@Leftovers
252def, 252sp.def, 4hp
Iron Defense
Amnesia/???
Flamethrower
Rest

Tank.

Lucario
Modest@??
-Inner Focus?
252sp.atk, 252spd, 4hp
Dragon Pulse/Flash Cannon
Psychic
Agility/Calm Mind
Aura Sphere

Special sweeper.

Medicham
Jolly@??
252spd, 252atk, 4hp
Baton Pass
Calm Mind
Substitute
Thunderpunch

Baton-passer. May be replaced with a Bold baton-passing Umbreon.

Roserade
-Natural Cure
252sp.def, 252spd, 4hp
Gentle@Heat Rock
Sunny Day
Aromatherapy
Solarbeam
Synthesis

Cleric/special sponge. Thinking about Tangrowth instead...

ps. I don't have a whole lot of experience with the use of held items, obviously, which is why most of them are left out... I simply don't know what I could use.

EDIT: Changed Vaporeon's moveset a little and added the roles of each. Sorry if I don't get this edit in in time, but if not it's all good.

 Good luck to the other teams needing to be rated

But anyways, lets try my team "In-battle Only"
----------------------------
Rapidash @Muscle Band
Nature: Jolly~Trait: Flash Fire
-Megahorn
-Hypnosis
-Iron Tail/Quick Attack
-Flame Wheel/Fire Blitz

[Physical Sweeper basically. Hypnosis used to make foe fall asleep, then try knock him out (Quick Attack can be used incase foe has tiny amount of HP left)]

Slowking @Leftovers
Nature: Bold/Calm~Trait: Oblivious
-Surf
-Psychic/Shadow Ball/Flamethrower
-Reflect/Light Screen
-Calm Mind/Nasty Plot

[Possible Special Sweeper with a bit of defense. Either Reflect or Light Screen to raise Df./SP-Df. a little for the team. Can't decide from the 3 moves in 2nd slot.]

Lickilicky @Chesto/?
Nature: Brave/Relaxed~Trait: Own Tempo
-Fire Punch/Explosion
-Rest
-Gyro Ball
-Curse

[Possible Tank with some offense. Curse used to raise Atk & Def plus to lower Spd. Lowered Spd then may raise power for Gyro Ball.
Raised Atk+Lowered Spd+Gyro Ball means DEADLY. Problem-Dont know whether Lowered Spd raises Gyro Ball's power or lowers it.
If it is lowered, give this Lickilicky a TOTALLY different moveset, sorry if it causes any inconvinience for the rater]

Probopass @Leftovers
Nature: Impish~Trait: Sturdy
-Discharge/Thunderbolt
-Block
-Toxic
-Stealth Rock

[Toxi-Trapper Tank plus SR. Use Stealth Rock. Then Block, then Toxic. Use Discharge or Thunderbolt to try knock foe out. When next one comes out, recieves damage from SR.]

Flygon @Choice Band
Nature: Jolly~Trait: Levitate
-Dragon Claw
-Rock Slide/Stone Edge
-U-Turn
-Earthquake

[Physical Sweeper. Anything else needed to be said?]

Jynx @Shell Bell
Nature: Timid/Modest~Trait: Forewarn
-Focus Blast
-Lovely Kiss
-Ice Beam
-Calm Mind/Fake Tears

[Special Sweeper. Lovely Kiss puts foe to sleep, then try knock it out. Calm Mind can raise Sp.Stats or Fake Tears to lower foe's Sp.Def]

I'm pretty new to this, so try to bear with me here. I need the most help with natures, where to put EVs, and completing some movesets. This team isn't for competition; I'm just trying to beat a friend of mine in a "battle royale" a couple weeks from now. If you could, try to avoid abbreviations and combined words like "bellyzard", since (other than bellyzard) I'm rarely able to figure out what those mean.

Umbreon@Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
Nature:?
-Mean Look
-Wish
-Baton Pass
-?

Leading off with Umbreon so I can mean look and baton pass to make sure I get a favorable matchup. If my opponent starts with a physical or special sweeper, I’ll just mean look and baton pass to the wall of my choice (skarmory or blissey). Other than that, waiting for a pokemon ninjask can hold out against long enough to get in a few stat-increasing moves. Wish is there to heal itself or to baton pass and heal ninjask, skarmory, or tyranitar.

Ninjask@Leftovers
Ability: Speed Boost
Nature:?
EVs: 252 Def, 252 Spec Def, 6 HP
-Swords Dance
-Double Team
-Baton Pass
-X-Scissor

Basic baton-passing ninjask. I like X-Scissor for the STAB, not to mention the base power of 80. I don’t feel it needs speed EVs since it’s so ungodly fast to begin with, so I put ‘em all in def. and spec. def. to make sure it lasts long enough to baton pass to an eager machamp (or tyranitar, if necessary).

Skarmory@Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
Nature: Impish (+ Def, -Spec Attack)
EVs: 252 Def, ?
-Spikes
-Toxic
-Roar/Whirlwind (other than against soundproof pokemon, does it matter which one?)
-?

Physical Wall. Nothing complex going on here.

Blissey@Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure/Serene Grace (which one?)
Nature: Calm (+Spec Def, -Attack)
-aromatherapy/heal bell
-softboiled
-seismic toss
-?

Special Wall/ Cleric

Tyranitar@Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
Nature: Adamant
-Crunch
-Earthquake
-?
-?

Physical Sweeper. I really need help completing this moveset. I don’t like subpunching to begin with, and since machamp is my other sweeper, I feel I’m covered as far as fighting attacks. Tyranitar is more or less in the lineup for his superior stats and dark-type to cover in case machamp doesn’t want to go in against a physchic- or ghost-type.

Machamp@Chesto Berry
Ability: No Guard
Nature: Jolly (+Speed, -Spec. Attack)
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
-Dynamicpunch
-Stone Edge
-Ice Punch
-Rest

Physical Sweeper. The basic strategy of the entire team is to stall until there’s an opportunity to send in ninjask, keep it alive, swords dance (and maybe double team) a few times, and baton pass to machamp. From there, try to ensure that machamp goes first to keep him alive as long as possible. I chose No Guard over Guts so that Dynamicpunch and Stone Edge are 100% accurate, rather than 50% and 80%, respectively.

I have not made the EV splits yet, but this includes everything else. I would like any advice on changing movesets, or possibly, replace one of the pokemon with another one from the final three. It is up for anything, I just need some helpful criticism. I am not sure I want a Metagross over the final three.

Umbreon@leftovers

Now comes the last pokemon, which I have not decided on.
