Glaceon fails to get calm mind, thus rendering it relatively inferior in the eyes of many, compared to vaporeon and vorious other ice types. It does work, though, believe me.

I apologize for my rude comment.
It wasn't only you. I stated the rule 3 pages back, that if someone complainewd, they'd be put at the bottom of the list. It is only now, that I will truly enforce it. Again, not meant at you directly.

A few questions though. I got this set from the Standard Guide, what's wrong with it?

Dusknoir@ Leftovers
Impish | Pressure
252 HP, 129 Atk, 129 Sp Def
~Shadow Punch
~Earthquake/Ice Punch
~Will-O-Wisp
~Pain Split/Rest

Your set is Sp Atk based, which Dusknoir is not. He has high Attack.
Nothing is wrong with this dusknoir. However, note that Will-o-Wisp lowers the opponent's attack (burn), which indirectly raises your defense (making it a more physical wall). You already had a physical wall (steelix/bastiodon), so there is no need for two physical walls. Instead, just put in a special wall (CMDusknoir).

And I'd just like to know how Sceptile has been toned down. Cause I've considered Ludicolo before, but putting Rain Dance into play could mess up the rest of my team.
Sceptile, if you will please note, has a higher special attack than physical attack. a much higher one. With DP, its only special moves are Energy ball (every grass, and some non-grasses), and Dragon Pulse

What's wrong with this set?
{sceptile} @ Leftovers
Jolly | Overgrow
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
~Leech Seed
~Substitute
~Leaf Blade
~X-scissor

Lucario (Serious)
Dragon Pulse
Aura Sphere
Shadow Claw
Blaze Kick

I would suggest moving Shadow Claw (Night Slash) for Shadow Ball and getting rid of Dragon Pulse in favour of Earthquake. But don´t worry if you haven´t access for them.

Milotic (Modest)
Surf
Ice Beam or Dragon Pulse?
Mirror Coat
Recover

I guess you should go with Ice Beam, put a Leftovers on her and there you go.

But if you have access to this mechanic, you SHOULD give it a try.

Milotic @ Poison Orb
Trait: Marvel Scale
. Rest
. Ice Beam
. Surf
. Sleep Talk
((I introduce the mechanic MiloRest, and it is very tough, albeit, I´ve explained this mechanic several times around here.))

Salamence (Naughty)
Earthquake
Dragon Claw
Stone Edge
Draco Meteor

I´d really not rather the Naughty Nature, it just lowers Salamence´s Sp. Def, which it can even be useful at best, go with Adamant instead. Also, get rid of Draco Meteor in favour of Aerial Ace, or Thunder/Fire Fang.

Metagross (Adamant)
Meteor Mash
Agility
Explosion
Earthquake

Is really the Explosion & Agility thing important? I would put Bullet Punch/Hammer Arm/Ice Punch AND Magnet Rise instead.

Electivire (Jolly)
Thunderpunch
Icepunch
Firepunch
Earthquake

I think you would like to have more type coverage, so you would need any Fighting type, I suggest to breed for the move Cross Chop instead of Fire Punch, since Ice Punch takes out Dragon, GROUND AND GRASS (as well as flying).

Spiritomb (Bold)
Substitute
Painsplit
Darkpulse
Calm Mind

For Pressure Abuse, you can teach it Protect and attack one turn, then protect next one, then attack and then protect again, Calm Mind is Okay, but you can get rid of Substitute in favour of Rest as well as Shadow Ball would go in and Pain Split out.

Any suggestions? I also need help deciding items too, i have a couple leftovers and a couple shell bells and some other stuff but idk who to give it to.

If there´s anything I cannot suggest you is about some items, so I have to study on it later.

You should go with Earthquake/Aerial Ace/Brick Break rather than Thunder Punch to boost your type coverage, but that´s an option. As for the item, go with Muscle Band or Life Orb. Try training for a physical-power orientated Dragonite, with 168 EVs for Atk, 168 for Spd, and 174 for Sp. Def/Def/HP, you´ll need this skill as well.

Tyranitar@ Leftovers . Sand Stream . Adamant
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
~Dragon Dance

~Stone Edge
~Crunch

Moves are okay but same item suggestion of that of Dragonite´s OR Razor Claw/Shell Bell. As for the EVs spread, I don´t think fighting for raising his Spd will be worth it, but I cannot tell it´s a bad Idea, my Tyranitar had this EVs spread.

Torterra @ Quick claw . Overgrowth . Doctile
?

~Grass knot
~EQ
~Rockslide

Rather Seed Bomb instead of Grass Knot, since the first uses the best offensive skill of his, the rest of the moves are okay, but you´d better go with another, more adecuated Nature other than Docile, maybe Adamant. And move for Atk-and-Sp. Def EVs, you´ll need them. [Item] > Quick Claw, go with Muscle Band or Choise Band (do not combine with Curse).

Lucario @ Wise glasses . Steadfast . Rash
?
~Dragon Pulse
~Psychic
~EQ
~Aura Sphere

Why is everyone after the move Dragon Pulse anyway? I´d go with Shadow Ball/Water Pulse/Dark Pulse/Flash Cannon instead of it, oh and find one of them to substitute EQ if you want a Sp. Attack orientated Lucario, otherwise leave it EQ. Expert Belt as Item

All I got for now. =/

I'll try to deal with the other teams a little later - i have been really busy :(

icameback: You have a huge ice weakness. lapras, walrein - they would be good, as they are 4x resistant to ice.

You also run a bit of a fighting weakness (torterra, lucario, t-tar, plus the ice types above), so a good ghost could be useful. You lack a wall/tank, so go for dusknoir.

I'm still trying to decide whether to pump his DEF or SPDEF through his EVs.

Quiet, 200 HP, 200 SPDEF, 110 SPATK

-Metal Sound
Magnet Pull

Thanks in advance.

My Team:

{forretress}
Forretress @Iron Ball
Ability: Sturdy
Relaxed: 100 HP / 156 Attack / 252 Defense
-Gyro Ball
-Rapid Spin
-Stealth Rock
-Toxic Spikes

{houndoom}
Houndoom @Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
Modest: 6 HP / 252 Special Attack / 252 Speed
-Nasty Plot
-Flamethrower
-Dark Pulse
-Swagger

{breloom}
Breloom @Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Jolly: 58 HP / 200 Attack / 252 Speed
-Spore
-Focus Punch
-Seed Bomb
-Stone Edge

{gengar}
Gengar @Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Hasty: 200 Attack / 80 Special Attack / 228 Speed
-Hypnosis
-Dream Eater
-Focus Punch
-Shadow Ball

{blissey}
Blissey @Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
Bold: 252 HP / 252 Defense / 6 Special Attack
-Aromatherapy
-Softboiled
-Thunder
-Counter

{milotic}
Milotic @Leftovers
Ability: Marvel Scale
Bold: 200 HP / 252 Defense / 56 Special Attack
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Surf
-Dragon Pulse

When I start the battle I have two choices: to start spiking or to switch. If I start out with spiking then I go all out until they switch into a fire type(Forretrss's only weakness). If they do I will switch into Houndoom and absorb their fire attack and power up. If I expect a sleep move I will switch into Milotic and absorb it. I've been battling lots of Hypnosis abusers so Sleep Talk is a must. Breloom has the ability which lets you abuse the Toxic Orb and switch in freely on Toxic Spikes. That lets him stay in long and wreak havoc on anything that isn't faster than him. Gengar is there to be an A-hole and make you think twice about switching. You can't get away with it when battling my Gengar especialy after Forrestress is done spiking. Forretress is made to be extreemly slow. I wanted to take full advantage of it so I gave it an Iron Ball to slow it down even more. Gyro Ball gets 150 base power on almost everything due to his massive lack of speed. Blissey is there just to be a cleric and possibly OHKO something with Counter. Please rate my team.

Hi, first time poster.

I'm extremely sorry if something like this has been posted already. And I'll try to follow the rules as much as I can. I look forward to a review and will be extremely grateful for any feedback.

Eevee Team: The team is basically 5 eevees and Mew. Looking at the Eevee team, the only option I could see was a BP team made to buff either Jolteon or Espeon as Special Sweepers.

---

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
Bold: 252 HP / 128 Defense / 128 Sp. Defense
-Mean Look
-Toxic
-Wish
-Baton Pass

(Regular Toxitrapper and Wish Passer)
---

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
Calm: 252 HP / 176 Defense / 82 Special Defense
-Substitute
-Aqua Ring
-Acid Armor
-Baton Pass

(Subber and Tank. One question, is it more common to sub up first then aqua ring? or the other way around. And does Aqua Ring prevent psuedo-hazing, like Roar and Whirlwind?)

---

Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
Timid: 252 HP / 252 Speed / 6 Sp. Defense
-Substitute
-Nasty Plot
-Amnesia
-Baton Pass

(Sp. Tank and Nasty Plot BPer. Is Mew looked down upon that he shouldn't be used in wifi? Manaphy is more or less the same thing but water version, but I find him to be much more useful and he's usually in the OU bracket. If Mew is out of the question I was looking to Ambipom as backup, though I lose the sp wall.)

EDIT: Replaced by Celebi at bottom.

---

Espeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
Impish: 252 Special Attack / 252 Speed / 6 HP
-Sunny Day ---> Shadow Ball
-HP Fire
-Psychic
-Baton Pass

(Special Sweeper, more like a Jolteon psychic variant. Also, is there a lot of psychic opposition to warrant HP Bug instead?)

EDIT: I decided to replace Sunny Day with Shadow ball, because i found sunny day redundant with Celebi as the Calm Mind passer.

---

Jolteon @ Leftovers
Ability: Volt Absorb
Impish 252 Special Attack / 252 Speed / 6 HP
-Thunderbolt
-HP Ice
-Agility
-Baton Pass

(Can BP agility, though I'm thinking Thunderwave might be more useful, not too sure. Also one of the main Sp. Sweepers)

---

Glaceon @ Leftovers
Ability: Snow Cloak
Calm: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 Sp. Defense
-Ice Beam ---> Protect
-Yawn

-Wish
-Baton Pass

(Yawner and Wish Passer. I'm not too sure about Ice Beam since Jolteon already has HP Ice)

EDIT: Took out Ice beam since Jolteon had HP Ice, sacrificing the STAB as well. However, I feel that protect has good synergy with yawn and wish for stalling.

---

Oh, and my general strategy, is to trap or yawn, then put up the appropriate wall then nasty plot as much as possible usually 2 is good and put up the appropriate sweeper.

I'm still very very new to wifi battle and was wondering if a BP team like this is even viable at all. Again, I look forward to any feedback, and think it's wonderful you guys are review others teams. Thanks again.

EDIT: Decided to replace Mew with Celebi since Mew is usually in the Ubers.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Bold 252hp / 128def / 128 sp def
-Substitute
-Leech Seed/Recover
-Calm Mind
-Baton Pass

(A Calm Mind passer. Only debate I have is recover or leech seed, though I'm leaning towards leech seed. Can also double as a special wall with the 101 subs.)

-Sword Dance

Porygon
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt

-Sharpen (?)

I'm curious to see how my team stacks up so here it goes. My team is, for the most part, designed to counter ubers, since I despise their use in a serious test of skill (thats just me though).

Tyranitar@Hard Stone
Lonely---Sand Stream

Rock Slide
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Crunch

I could probably use a better item, but I ran out of good ones when it was his turn to get one. Also I know I have 2 rock attacks, I want to replace one but I'm not sure with what yet, ofcourse I'm open for sugestions.

Honchkrow@Scope Lens
Hardy---Super Luck

Night Slash
Dark Pulse
Drill peck
Roost

He is intended to get alot of critical hits. With the scope lens, super luck(it took 4 eggs to get one with it), and night slash; now I don't know what the exact odds are for getting a critical hit with all these but it does happen way more often than normal.

Garchomp@Lax incense
Sassy---Sand Veil

Earthquake
Dragon Pulse
Dig
Dragon Rush

I know I should get rid of Dig. I'm thinking about Fire Fang, but again I'm open for sugestions. Also with Tyranitar's Sand Stream, his ability will come into effect, plus the lax incense makes it more effective.

Metagross@Leftovers
Gentle---Clear Body

Earthquake
Zen Headbutt
Meteor Mash
Psychic

Well, I guess there really isn't much room for improvement. He's just someone to use when I don't have a type advantage.

Spiritomb@Big Root
Timid---Pressure

Faint Attack
Hypnosis
Dream Eater
Dark Pulse

He's mainly a lead-off guy, just to get a feel of what I'm up against.

Hitmonchan@Shell Bell
Sassy---Iron Fist

Thunder Punch
Fire Punch
Ice Punch
Sky Uppercut

I like his wide variety of attack types, plus iron fist boosts their power (I'm not sure sky uppercut gets the boost but its still a good move). He is much better in the 4th generation.

This is the first pokemon game i've played since the original red version as a 12yo, so i'm still working out the complexities of the game. here's my team. I mainly use the team in-game at the moment, but am planning to do more competitive play when i finish.

Carnivine
ability: levitate
crunch
power whip
grass knot
wring out
Swords Dance + LeechSeed/Ingrain > WringOut and Grass knot. Wring out is a special attack, based on the inferior stat.

Vespiquen
ability: pressure
power gem
attack order
toxic
heal order
Defense order > power gem. Good toxi tank. Power gem is a special rock move, based on the special attack stat (just focus on one).

Tentacruel
ability: clear body
sludge bomb
water pulse
toxic spikes
barrier
Yup, looks good.

Hippowdon
ability: sand stream
stealth rock
crunch
yawn
earthquake
Curse, EQ, Rock Slide, Rest.

Infernape
ability: blaze
fire spin
mach punch
fire blast
close combat
Mixed sweeping potential - Flamethrower/FireBlast, Brick Break > Mach Punch. Close combat is good as suicidal move. Rock Slide/Uturn > Fire Spin (Power vs. Switch out automatically).

Staraptor
ability: intimidate
aerial ace
fly
close combat
roost
Aerial Ace, Uturn, Close Combat, Return/Steel Wing, @Choice Band. ChoiceBand intimidate is cool (see Salamence, tauros, etc). Roost sort of doesn't work,as you need the ground immunity, and you don't really need defensive moves on him.

Finally - end of page 5 :)

@Adherence Glasses

Good, good. Very Standard.

Torterra
EV’s: 252 Attack, 252 Defense, 4 HP
@Sitrus Berry
Nature: Lonely (-Defense +Attack)
Ability: Overgrow
Earthquake
Crunch
Leech Seed
Wood Hammer
All of these cool moves...and no razor leaf/seed bomb? that > Leech seed (its not a tank, it has no business with defensive moves. SWEEP!!!!).

Nidoking
EV’s: 252 Speed, 196 Special Attack, 62 Attack
@Lum Berry
Nature: Timid (-Attack +Speed)
Ability: Poison Point
Earth Power
Megahorn
Ice Beam
Fire Blast
I'd have gone modest, with no attack evs. t-bolt > fire blast, sludge bomb/shadow ball > megahorn.

Machamp
EV’s: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Defense
@Salac Berry
Nature: Adamant (-Special Attack, +Attack)
Ability: Guts
Cross Chop
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Bulk Up
Good. 4 in the HP, not defense.

Jirachi
EV’s: 212 Special Attack, 196 Speed, 102 HP
@Leftovers
Nature: Timid (-Attack +Speed)
Ability: Serene Grace
Calm Mind
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Flash Cannon/ Energy Ball/ Wish
Modest, with Wish. Some stability, after it pumps up.

Aight here you go.

These are just some guys I want rated, and 2 new guys I'm thinking about training.

[Aggron] @ [Choice Band]. [Rock Head]-Lvl 100
[Relaxed], [252ATT,252DEF,1HP,3SPD] DVs, I got 0 Sp. ATK. Whooot.

[Earthquake]
[Avalanche/Iron Tail/Brick Break]
[Double-Edge]
[Aerial Ace]
I swap Move #2 around a lot, This guy has 495 Def, 314 ATT, and I love him.

[Flygon] @ [Shell Bell]. [Levitate]-lvl 82 -.-
[Rash], [Trained in-game, have no clue] Got no clue as to DV's.

[Dragon Claw]
[Crunch]
[Fire Blast]
[Earthquake]
Meh, he's not the best, Fire blast for steels.

[Sceptile] @ [Big Root]. [Overgrow]
[Naive], [Another in-game] Again, no clue.

[Giga Drain]
[Energy Ball]
[Focus Blast]
[Dragon Pulse]
He can hit fast and hard.

--Possible Additions---
[Bastiodon] @ [Apicot Berry]. [Sturdy]
[Careful], [250DEF,250SP.DEF,10HP] Hopefully between 25 and 30 in defenses.

[Rest]
[Iron Defense]
[Endure]
[Fissure]

[Dusknoir] @ [Leftovers]. [Pressure]
[Careful], [220DEF, 220SP.DEF, 70HP]

[Toxic]
[Mean Look]
[Substitute]
[Focus Punch]

Anyway, post suggestions please!

Heres my team going I plan on using against the elite four.....

Infernape Special Sweep
a) Sunny Day
b) Solarbeam
c) Focus Blast
d) Flamethrower
Are you aware that this is the extent of the special pool? a fire move (outclassed by ice on type charts, except against steel), a grass move (that many resist/use better), and an inaccurate fighting move (70% isn't really good). Instead, try a physical/mixed infernape - Close combat (suicidal), flamethrower (stab and kills steels like skarmory and forretress), 2 of brick break/uturn/rock slide/eq/bulk up.

Roserade Special/Toxic
a) Toxie
b) Slude Bomb
c) Petal Dance
d) Synthesis
Locking yourself into a move, followed by confusion? NO WAY! Growth, 3 of EnergyBall/MagicalLeaf, Extrasensory, Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb. It is offense, not really supporting moves (toxic, synthesis).

Gallade[u] Physical Sweep
a) Swords Dance
b) Psycho Cut
c) Leaf Blade
d) Night Slash
Looks good, but it doesn't hit steels. Could put on EQ > Night Slash, or brick break > leaf blade.

[u]Steelix
Physical Sweep/Tank
a) Stone Edge
b) Iron Tail
c) Earthquake
d) Double Edge
Rock Slide > Stone Edge (PP, accuracy). ElementalFan/Crunch > Irontail (totally inaccurate)

Gyarados Physical
a) Dragon Dance
b) Aqua Tail
c) Ice Fang
d) Bite / Surf (Hm user :P)
Dragon Dance, EQ, Waterfall (flinch), Ice fang is the standard.

Gengar
a) Confuse Ray
b) Dark Pulse
c) Thunderbolt
d) Shadow Ball
Dark Pulse + Shadow Ball = redundant (same type advantages, basically). Sludge bomb, instead. Psychic/Energy Ball/Hypnosis are options instead of confuse ray.

Tell me what ya think?[/u]

Anyways:

BASTIODON @ Leftovers
Careful / Sturdy
259 HP, 129 DEF, 129 SP. DEF

TOXIC
IRON DEFENCE
BLOCK
METAL BURST
Sand storm > metal burst. it will increase your special defense.

BTW, this is probably the first moveset I've came up with. Pretty standard, with metal burst in case it comes up against a steel type. Any opinions?

Edit: Never mind... I was gonna have you rate a team but I'm still making modifications, plus I'm not sure if I want others seeing what I have in store for many a hapless challenger. ;)

Notes:
1. I am using this team for in-game, for the BATTLE TOWER, not only aim at beating the Tower Tycoon, but getting a 100 win streak in order to get a new star. i still haven't start my game and so the following is just my proposed team.
2. Also, I think i am lazy to deliberately EV train my Pokemon.
3. I assume i dun hv any BPs to buy those luxury items and useful TMs, like CB, TM7x Stone edge. (but u can still suggest me to use those items and TMs)
4. Can you also please suggest which one to put at First?
5. Those mystic water and etc. now boost 20%, not 10%, so i think they are usable

Gyarados @ Mystic Water
Intimidate | A "not bad" nature
A "not bad" EV spread (at least 0 in SA)

- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Avalanche

Infernape @ Blackbelt
Blaze | a "not bad" nature
A Balanced EV spread

- Overheat
- Flare Blitz
- Close Combat
- Calm Mind / Swords Dance if i hv enough money

Blissey @ Leftovers
which ability should i choose? | a "not bad" nature
slightly more EV in def and 0 in Atk

- Softboiled
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot

Well, here's my team. I don't know which 'category' (OU, UU, NU) each of them fall under, but if you could tell me that would be great (that way I know which ones I'd need to change out if I fight someone who wants to go UU only).

Mr. Mime @ (not sure)
Timid | Soundproof
252 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 6 Spd
-Psychic
-Calm Mind
-Barrier
-Baton Pass
**Every team I have has to have a Mr. Mime, as it's my favorite pokémon. Obviously, he's a Baton Passer, but has Psychic incase he's on his own for some reason. Picked Soundproof over Filter because if I need to, I can always Baton Pass should a Bug, Ghost or Dark pokémon show up.

Ludicolo @ Big Root
Modest | Swift Swim
252 HP, 129 Def, 129 Sp. Def
-Giga Drain
-Leech Seed
-Toxic
-Rain Dance
**Just a normal drainer. With this new Big Root item, I can probably get more of a boost using Giga Drain instead of relying on Leftovers to get a boost. Same with Swift Swim over Rain Dish.

Magnezone @ (not sure)
Timid | Sturdy
252 HP, 129 Def, 129 Sp. Def
-Thunder
-Flash Cannon
-Magnet Rise
-Explosion
**Thunder can be exchanged for Thunderbolt, but my intention is to switch to Magnezone while it's still raining. With Magnet Rise, we get rid of his Ground weakness. Just a Special Sweeper.

Linoone @ Salac Berry
Jolly | Gluttony
6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
-Belly Drum
-Substitute
-Extremespeed/Return
-Surf
**The plan is to Substitute, then Belly Drum, that should kick in the Salac Berry if not already from Gluttony, then sweep. I have found that Linoone can have both Extremespeed and Gluttony, as I've got one on my team right now (he actually has 6 HP, 126 Atk, 126 Def, 252 Spd because his IVs are bad since I got him in a trade).

Honchkrow @ (not sure)
Jolly | Super Luck/Insomnia
6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
-Drill Peck
-Thunder Wave
-Attract/Taunt
-Night Slash/Sucker Punch
**I've got two ideas here. Super Luck/Attract/Night Slash, for the increased critical hits, or Insomnia/Taunt/Sucker Punch, for the higher base attack, but requiring a set up to make sure it works. Just a physical sweeper.

Drifblim @ (not sure)/Some Berry
Modest | Aftermath/Unburden
252 Def, 129 Sp. Def, 129 Spd
-Shadow Ball
-Silver Wind
-Gust
-Substitute
**I want to use a Drifblim because I like them so much, but their movepool isn't great. It's between Drifblim and Mismagius.

Okay, that's all. :3
