Post subject:  The Graphics Section Tryouts
The Graphics Section tryouts are now open.

The Tryouts will last for 2 weeks, at the end of that (or a couple days after, depending how long it takes), We'll let some who tryout join the Graphics Section.

The Tryouts will basically be this:
After you request to join either in here or through PM,
I'll send you some test requests to do through PM, you'll do them and send them back to me.

We'll then judge your Art, and see if there's anything wrong with the ones you made.

If we like your art, at the end of the 2 weeks, we'll let you join the Graphics Section.

You can also send some of the Art you've already made too.

Also please note: That it is almost Christmas, so I'm going to be busy with Shopping and other things, So I may not be around as often as I have been in the Past.

So please post in here or PM me, if you'd like to Join the Graphics Section and please put what you'd like to make (I.e Banners, Glowing Sprites, etc.).

And feel free to suggest a new type of Avatar, Banner, etc. You'd like us to try and make, or you can make yourself.

Any other questions, feel free to post in here with them or PM me.

T'wud be very cool to be a person in the graphics section thing...

I can do fusions/recolouring/mucking about with sprites. All on MS paint.

Thats basically what I do, thats the stuff I usually make, I try complex fusions sometimes and it looks weird but wonderful.

I can do fusions of Pokes, revamps of old Pokemon (using the new colors to recolor the old sprites), recolors that arent the best in the world and trainer+Pokemon avatars (like fusing topgether the two or making one behind the other, fusions behind trainer, etc.)
Examples (I can do the forum color, just was too lazy to do it on some of these)

Yes, I can do trainers too, but I don't have any examples of it, 'cept for my avatar.

12/10/05: I took a look at your graphics section catagories, and I suppose I should add a couple more things. I can do trainers alongside a poke, and if I'm feeling realy brave, I can add some basic backgrounds to it. I'm afraid I don't have any real examples at the moment aside from my avatar. I should probably make some.

You guys should post samples here instead of merely saying "I can do this and this and this..." or "for samples, go to my shop", because that isn't being very sincere. It also makes it much easier for Raichulatias. Just my opinion, and no offense intended.

bobashotmace: Yeah whenever you're ready to make Recolored Sprites and fusions again.

CF: You're already in the Graphics Section, the GS members that are still around are already in. If you feel like quitting, just tell me.

Right now, I'm busy with some things too, plus I haven't made a Glowing av in about 2-3 monthes, so it'll take a little time fo rme to get used to making them again.

Right now there are only 6 people still members in the Graphics Section,

CF, Darkk, Magus, Skull Kid, tessa7338 and myself.

eevee-master, ace18, Nidoman and Neo_Matrix: Could you post some of your's here? I don't really have time right now to look through every shop.

rubypoke, Kryten, Gardevoir~, ChroniclerC: I'll send some tests later today or in the next couple of days for you to do.

Also the Graphics Section is now located in Slateport Market, I kind of forgot to move it when I cleaned it up, until now.

Just a quick question about the GS: Will it charge no/a little Psybucks?
Im just curious. And I can recolor old trainers too in addition to resoring the old Pokemon. I just did a few yesterday;

Gardevoir~: Right now, we aren't charging any Psybucks, though in the future we might. Though we'd probably only charge like 5 Psybucks for something like an Av, 10 for Banner, etc (Of course this is after Amphy gives some out to every member).

Also the avs look pretty good, you could try adding a little bit of a Light illusion to the hat on the first one, like you did on the other parts.

Personally I made a couple like that, though I got stuck on a Silver Articuno, it never really worked out since I couldn't get the lighting right on it's wings.

I guessed that, I was just curious if it would be a teeny amount or summat.
Yeah, that one's like 7/8 done. I have to shadow some parts, it looks like its a glaring ressemblence to the R/S Birdkeeper. (I actually used that sprite's clor and skin feature so it shows more character, something G/S/C graphics werent exactly 100%capable of)

uhhh, thats not the bg colour, its a bit too light. And on RPGClassics.com they told how to get transparency with MS paint, I haven't tried yet but they're a very good sited so I trust it works.

Very nice work there - I can see that recolors are popular, as are fusions. Let's see some more sigs :P
