Hi everyone, I have installed the gender mod, which allows you to define your gender in your profile. Your gender will also be displayed under your avatar in each of your posts. For a demonstration, here is mine <----------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

I do believe you mess around with the overall_footer. Looking at a test forum, (demo for 3.0.0), it is down at the bottom and displays the birthday on that date. I'll try it out and see what I can come up with. EDIT: I checked the description on one, it says it's in the profile. What's your preference, a calendar type deal or just a tid-bit in the profile? |

Well I don't see much point having them in the profile unless the "users celebrating their birthday today..." tidbit is displayed in the footer on the index page, so that's what I'd like. |

You'd have to install more than one. First you would have to do Calender MOD, then the Birthday one. After that, another one for Brthday's to be integrated with Calender. I think Calender would come in handy, like when Banana or Trivia starts up. Be have the birthday thread and it is a lot of work with three mods...especially when it comes to upgrade time. Id' rather do some cooler easier ones like the one I'm working on now

I'll keep you posted. Agreed. I took a look at the installation and the author's way of explaining things, is a bit.... a bit more complex than it should be.

Although some people are very clearly a certain gender. Or maybe they only seem that way to me. For instance, I've always known that Amphy and RaichuLatias were male, without even seeing it typed. I just instinctively knew. Does that heppen to anyone else, or just me? {dewgong}{dewgong}

For most people, I can tell by their writing style. For some, it's a bit more difficult. Girls tend to write with different words and phrases than guys do. |
