Survivor: Psypoke Isle is a competition which will be held on Psypoke between the 5 teams. To compete, you need to be a member of a team. You can only be a member of one team, so choose carefully. To find out how to join a team check out this topic: http://psypokes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6780 Each week there will be a trivia in which team members compete for their team to try and win immunity. The team or teams which win immunity from the weekly challenge will be immune from the weekly elimination. Each week voting will take place and each team will vote for another team to lose a life. The team left standing at the end will be declared the winner! ##### TRIVIA ##### Each week there will be a trivia. The trivia hosts and topics will vary. At each trivia each team may put forward 4 people to compete (sometimes more). These people do not need to be the same each week (so you can cycle through your team based on availability and strengths). The trivia times may vary to allow people living in different regions to compete. Usually, the team with the highest score at the end of trivia will win immunity, however this may sometimes change depending on game-changing twists :O After the trivia, voting will be open. ##### LIVES and VOTING ##### Each team starts off with 4 lives. After trivia voting will be open in the form of a poll in the team forums. The team with the highest number of votes in the poll for each forum will be the team that your team votes for. The team(s) with immunity cannot be voted for. The team with the most number of votes will lose a life. In the event of a tie, the other team(s) will vote again between the teams which have tied. Once a team has no lives left, they are out of the competition and no longer compete. For example: Solar wins trivia and wins immunity. All five team forums get a poll for their members to vote for another team to vote against out of Psyche, Inferno, Hydro and Midnight. The team with the most votes in each poll gets 1 vote against them. The team with the most points against them will lose a life. More details will follow soon! Amphy |

ROUND 1 The first Survivor: Psypoke Isle trivia date has been set! Each week I'll make a post similar to this outlining all the details. A small page will also be set up soon. Date: Sunday 28th January at 3pm EST. For other time zones check this out. Where: Trivia will be held on the Chats server in the #PsypokeSurvivor channel. To get there, use the java applet found here, and part #psypoke and join #PsypokeSurvivor. You could also use a IRC chat program and connect to the DarkMyst server (irc.darkmyst.org port 6667) and join #PsypokeSurvivor. If you are having troubles, please ask inside the #Psypoke chat room. The second time you will be kicked. The third time you will be banned for three questions. The fourth time will result in a ban for the remainder of the trivia. 2. You may guess as many times as you wish, unless the question states otherwise. 3. All channel rules regarding obscenity and behavior apply during trivia. DO NOT HARRASS OTHER USERS. 4. My decisions are final. The answer I accept is the correct one which appears first on my screen. Unless you are ABSOLUTELY certain that I have made an error, please do not pm me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I will shortly be putting up threads in each of the teams and talking to the team leaders about nominating the 4 people who will represent their team in the first trivia. If someone doesn't show up on the day, another team member may take their place before trivia begins. People are welcome to watch the trivia. Yes, you may have been banned from the main chats, but you can still go on to the psypoke isle thingy. If using the java applet, it will just say something like - Cannot connect to #psypoke blah blah blah. You will be shown a screen with a space in the bottom part. you will then type /join #psypokesurvivor and, you're in Remember to use your forum name. Anyway, when is psypoke isle rescheduled for? Edit: January 31 - The thing is rescheduled for this Saturday, same time (Found this out on the chats. |
