Amos started walking towards Petalburg and shouted back "Comon Sam, keep up." He really couldn't believe he was holding ANY girl's hand, much less Ella's. His face was bright red but looked around, trying to hide it. "What other poke'mon live in this region that would be good for a team?" he said after a minute or two of walking. Amos was born and lived in Dewford all his life, he really didn't know about much of anything beyond those shores.

Ella noticed his red face, but it matched her own, so she didn't comment. "Ralts." she said, "That was the other pokemon I wanted to catch on the route." She thought some more. "WIngull, maybe. I don't know."

He stopped and but still held onto her hand."A wingull we can find anywhere near water, but I heard ralts are pretty rare." He smiled. " So then lets go find one of those ralts. It won't take as long if we both look."

Ella smiled at him. "Thanks. That's great." she looked around. "Qtip, get ready."
Qtip chirped and hopped to Amos' shoulder. "Hey, he likes you!" she said, "He hates everyone!"

Sam, still dazed he'd caught a sentret,ran to catch up with Ella and Amos.
He whisped to lavitar on his shoulder,"Those two got something on".
Smiling he put his arms round Amos and Ella's shoulders and said,"Theres a ralts."
He pointed to a small patch of grass with a little head sticking above it.

Ella grinned. "Thanks Sam, you rock!" she told him, letting go of Amos' hand to head over to catch it.
"Qtip, use peck." she ordered. Qtip did, and got the Ralts dead on.
"Great!" Ella said, patting Qtip on the head, "Now... Pokeball." she said, throwing one. IT shook once, twice, three times, then fell still. "I caught her!" she said proudly, "Thanks Sam!" she gave him a hug, then gave one to Amos. "And thank YOU for coming up with the idea to work together."

[[Okay, so everyone knows I haven't posted in what...5 pages...XD Anyways, point is, will someone catch me up? Reading 5 pages is not on my list of things to do, it's long enough as it is.]]

My goal was to reach the Pokemon league. Ever since I got my Heracross I wanted to go to the Pokemon League. Hey? Maybe I might make it there. Well, it all started when I left my house in Petalburg to start my journey.



I started walking towards the door when all of a sudden my Mom stopped me. "And where are you going?"She said. "I'm going on a journey.... A journey to the Pokemon League." "But...OK. Well, make sure you keep well. Take a lot of food and water with you....And catch a lot of Pokemon along the way- Heracross isn't the strongest Pokemon in the world.", John's Mom exclaimed." John wasn't very happy about what his Mom just said- John spent All-Day training his Heracross. "I bet Heracross is stronger than your weak- old Golem." John said. "Oh Really? Bring it. If you win, I'll let you go on your journey. If not, you stay here." His Mom bet with John, feeling confident with herself. "Fine, the Deal's on.
John was almost sure he would win.
And plus, Heracross would have an advantage against Golem- Fighting is super-effective on Rock. One problem with that. Golem has a wicked defense. A fighting move is a physical attack, and that matches up with Defence skills. But what could Golem do to Heracross? He'd all figure that out when he battled his Mom, for the first time in his life.

[[ok, ill catch you up crimson. Basically, i joined them after traveling from my hometown of dewford. I started with a tentacool that steals stuff with Thief(TM) and i caught a wurmple. Ella caught a lotad and just got a ralts right now. Zack caught something im not aware of yet and ran ahead to route 104. Sam started with a larvitar and caught a sentret. Amos has a "thing" for Ella. And Ryo and mega_horn are just joining now.]]

Amos hugged Ella tightly. "It really isn't a big deal, but thanks." His face was beaming with joy. He let go but held onto her hand. "It looks like we got what we wanted here, lets go catch up with Zack." He couldn't stop smiling.

(one thing though, is it getting late at all? I mean it should probably be dark by the time we reach the forest or something.)

Ryo comes from a family of bad pokemon trainers. Some of them quit when they barely made it to odale town! Ryo told his family that he will prove to his whole family that Bates are not quiters and he would not put his last name in shame. Yea Ryo doesn't have the strongest pokemon with him but Ryo And Slowpoke know that they could mak it to the top one day if they try hard.

Ryo walked with his Slowpoke to Route 104. "I hope i'll catch good pokemon today."he told his weary Slowpoke. Ryo saw a trainer and a Mudkip and Torchic. "Cool Mudkip."he said to the trainer. "I herd u leik mudkips :B"he told the trainer. "If it isnt yours could I catch it."he said with a smile on his face.

((Musashi: Yep, I figured we'd stop in Petalburg. We could get to the beach, then turn back, so that Ella'll get her Torchic.*grins*
Ryo: and I thought you couldn't find a way to fit that line in... *sigh* proved me wrong))
Ella was beaming when he continued to hold her hand. "Don't you want another pokemon? To even it out?" She asked, trying to be helpful

Zack blinked at the trainer and his Slowpoke, "How the heck would you know what I like? Besides, these pokemon aren't for catching, they're for looking at!" he said smugly as he pocked his tongue out at the hopeful kid.
Suddenly, Mudkip, Torchic and Igglybuff all ran over and tackled Zack to the ground, "Hey! Guys! Stop that!" he laughed as they tickled him, "Guys! Quit it!" he laughed even harder.

Appearence: White baggy pants with a white vest. Spiky blonde hair and a pale face. Nate is very headstrong and ambitious, he tends to think every two or three days, occassionally less.
Starter Pokemon: Castform
Starter Moves: Water Gun, Icy Wind, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Hail...

"You're late," Professor Birch told Nate sternly. He panted, tryignt o ctach his breath.
"I'm sorry sir," He apologized. Professor Birch quickly handed Nate a belt with six pokeballs attached to it and his pokegear and pokedex. Finally he lifted up a shining baby blue pokeball and tossed it to the boy.
"Here is your starter. Your mother and father paid a lot of money for me to have that imported for you. Take good care of it. Your Dad specifically instructed me to make sure you start with that Pokemon. I suppose he wants you to follow in his footsteps and become a weather pokemon trainer,"

Professor Birch turned away and began lecturing Nate about tardiness and how he would have to run to catch up with the rest of the group. Nate was looking at his pokeball with a pout. He was sure he knew what Pokemon his parents would have demanded Birch get for him. His Mum and Dad both had Castform. His father owned the weather gym in Hurrico City. Nate put Castform on his belt and waited for the Professor to finish droning on about manners and such. Finally the Professor gave Nate the phone numbers for the rest of the trainers he was supposed to be travelling with and told him which direction they went in. He stepped outside and was soon on his way.

"Pokemon adventure, here I come!" He cried. Nate started to run down the dirt road, hoping to catch up with the rest of the group as soon as he could. If he was stuck out on his own after curfew he coudl be in a lot of toruble. As he ran, he thought more about his parents making him take a Castform. Catsform didn't even evolve. It wasn't fair. He didn't want a Castform. He'd told them what he really wanted. What Nate had really wanted was his favourite Pokemon of all. It was the most impressive Pokemon to start with. A mighty Abra with its telekinetic ability would have made Nate's day. He always imagined himself as a supreme master of Pokemon with Alakazam by his side. Instead he would be some dinky kid with a Castform. It wasn't fair.

Nate fell onto his back as the Pidgey swooped down and struck him hard in the face.
"Pidgey?" Nate queried. His pokedex chimed.
"Pidgey, an easy ctach for the beginning trainer. These Pokemon make loyal travel copmpanions and are simple to train,"
"Castform, let's go!" Nate cried. Catsform appeared with a soft gurgle.
"CAST!" She cried.
"No time for games, Castform, use your water gun!" He cried. Catsform hit Pidgey with the water gun and Pidgey was sent flailing backwqard.
"Now try an icy wind!' Nate called. Castform used its next attack instantly, without waiting for Pidgey to retaliate. Pidgey was left in tatters as Nate laughed and cheered.
"Now give it a sandstorm attack!" Nate cried. But Pidgey had other ideas. It leapt into the sky and shot inot Castform's tiny body with deadly accuracy.
'Darn! Didn't count on that," Nate thought out aloud, "Oh well, now use sandstorm,"
Castform screamed with a loud wail and soon the Pidgey was coughing and spluterring. Nate threw a pokeball. Pidgey disappeared inside and the ball began to twitch.
"No contest!" Nate called. He walked along, Castform at his side, until he could hear voices in the distance.
"I think we've caught up with the group Catsform. Hey, get back in your pokeball, this doesn't mean we're friends or anything!" He spat. Catsform frowned as it faded inot the red pool of light and disappeared inside its ball. Nate scowled as he started to run. His mind was in battle with itself. Castform was a cute pokemon, but it wasn't abra, she liekd nate, but it wasn't abra, she was strong, but she wasn't abra, she was his friend, but she wasn't abra, she was all in all a good pokemon, she just wasn't abra.

Nate stopped running as he neared a group of trainers on the beach near Sateport.
"I made it!" Nate panted.

In a park, in side Petalburg sat Alana. She was lost, she knew she was in Petalburg, but she didn't know how she got here or where everyone else was. As she thought about being alone, not including her shelder, she began to hyperventillate. Tears formed in her red eyes and the albino hunched forward, trying to create a sense of security. Her breaths were ragged gasps, her eyes were wide as she stared into nothing, tears were beginning to stream down her face, and her hood had fallen back at some point exposing her white head to the citizens of Petalburg.

She was alone, the girl had no idea where anyone was. What if...what if she hadn't lost the group, what if they'd ditched her, abandoned her. Her optimistic side screamed in protest, but her rational side said that similar things had happened before. But now, unlike those times, she didn't have a home to run back to that was only a few minutes away. Instead, she was in a city, she'd never been in before, with small smudge of dirt covering an alabaster cheek, her hands had scrapes on them, and stained jeans from when she fell.

Alana began to rock ever so slightly, panicking even more. What would she do? Where would she go? And as more time went on, the stronger the hideous notion became. Until, until it finally became a mantra, 'I've been abandoned.'

Nate smiled as he saw the trainers sprawled across the beach. He wanted to battle them all so badly, maybe he coudl even trade his Castform for an Abra, even a Drowzee would be better. First he had to heal his Pokemon, neither Castform or Pidgey were in any state to battle. He ran up the stone steps at the furthest end opf the beach and ran into Slateport's city centre. He spied the Pokemon Centre across the square but somethign caught his eye.
"Huh?" He mumbled. There was a girl sitting on a bench rocking back and forth. She looked upset. Nate slowly trudged toward her, bending down to the girl. She looked to be the same age as him and she was crying. Her breath was frantic and Nate wasn't sure if she'd even realized he was knealing beside her.
"Excuse me," He asked, "Are you okay?"

"Sure, if you don't mind waiting for me." He smiled at Ella. "But what to catch?" He thought for a while. "I don't really think there's anything I want around here. There aren't really any poison types in this area." He paused for a minute. "I want to head on and catch up with Zack. Something tells me he's up to something." Amos let go of Ella's hand, saying "I'll meet you guys in Petalburg, catch whatever you want. I'll make sure Zack waits for you."

Amos ran headlong into Petalburg. He was pretty atheletic from swimming so much so it didn't take alot out of him. He started to head for the pokemon center and passed through a park on the way. He stopped in a heartbeat when he saw this poor girl in the middle of what looked like a total breakdown. Amos sat down on the bench next to her but was really cautious about talking to her. "Are...are you gonna be ok?"

All the pokemon were able to fit into Zack's bag even without using any pokeballs, he laughed, "You guys are awesome!" he smiled as he got up and brushed the sand off.
Zack then walked past the weird trainer and stepped onto the steps leading back up the ledge. "Whatever, maybe I'll see you around someday..." he smirked to him as he turned to climb up the stairs and then started running off to Petalburg City.
Zack looked around the place to see no sign of his friends. "I thought they would've got here by now...I wonder what they're doing?" he asked himself and then shouted, "HELLO! GUYS! WHERE ARE YOU!?" he called out.

((Hey Psyches, we're in the Petalburg area, and Route 104 is where the beach is, okay, I just want to point that out.))

Ella sighed. "Amos... You nutcase." she muttered fondly. How she'd become so familiar with him after such a short time was unclear, but that didn't matter so much. She sighed. "Sam, whatever." she said, "I need to find Zack."
She ran the rest of the way to petalburg, spotting Zack right off. "Zack!" she called happily, running towards him, "Did you catch anything? I got a ralts!"

Alana tried to say yes but it only came out in squeaks, as she continued to try to speak she nodded her head, willing the proper sounds to leave her mouth. The albino wrapped her arms around herself and forced herself to stop rocking.

She tried to desperately change the mantra in her head, she tried to tell herself it was going to be okay and that she would figure out what to do even if she were alone. The ten year-old closed her eyes, trying to gain some focus. Alana knew there was a boy next to her, she knew he was worried, why else would he have asked? Her heart panicked more at being the cause of his worry, making things worse as her mind tried to calm things down.

The tears eventually began to stop, and she took huge heaving gasps of air, trying to take regulated and controlled breaths as smoothly as possible. She continued to nod, still trying to tell the boy she was fine, or at least she would be.
