Larry couldn't help but burst out laughing at Lugia's predicament, but soon realized that this was a serious battle and unleashed another Hyper Voice, but this time, at Moltres.

Fang snorted.
"Serves you right...hahaha." Lugia gave a "HRM! HRRHMMHRAGHHMM!" as if it was speaking, but the Glalie was stuck tight, halting its speech.
Fang looked at it and said, "Might as well hit it while its down, and its now powerless comrades as well." He leapt at Lugia, and used Bite on its leg. Fang held on as well a he could, and sank his teeth farther into Lugia's leg, wanting it to fell the excruciating pain and suffering.

"I guess it's time I stopped playing dead weight." Shard said as his head stopped spinning. "Improbably no good against the birds, but some of these other guys I can take."

With that, Shard attacked several ice pokemon that served Articuno. The exchange of attacks was equal. With Flare's Sunny Day still in effect Shard's fire attacks where as strong as their water attacks.

Lugia began to run around in circles like it was a three year old girl with an ant on it screaming, "GETITOFFGETITOFFGETITOFF!!"
Fang began to resist the pull of Lugia's tantrum and began to pull in the opposite direction. Lugia used a Psycho Boost in its pain, sending a shock wave that vibrated through the area, blowing a gale of energy from within. The Glalie shot out like a bullet and into the ocean blue.
Fang thought, "They must lose more that way if Lugia gets this angry."
Lugia used an Aeroblast, but narrower and more powerful, and of course imed it at Fang. He tried to withstand the vacuum, but couldnt. His claws scraped the ground as he struggled to survive. He noticed a boulder to his left and dove behind it. The vacuum now having no effect, Lugia stormed about searching for the ruffian who left a red welt on his leg.

When Blaze kicked in, Shard was able to get the upper hand on most of the ice types. With the fire types hesitant to attack one of their own, the electrics staying out of the fight, and Lugia and Moltres occupied with Larry and Fang Shard felt confident that he would make it out alive. That was until a hail storm started and one ice pokemon made it known that he wasn't in a pleasent mood.

With a look of unequaled fury, Articuno spoke, "All of you, get back. He is mine."

The look in Articuno's eyes was enough to make Shard quiver. However, he wasn't going to back down, not when his friends came this far for him. "B..B..bring it...on." Shard said, covered in cold sweat.

"Come on Shard, hang in there; I know you have it in your to beat Articuno. As for me, Lugia will have to do," and with that, he unleashed another Hyper Voice, this time at Lugia's chest.

"Scared Shard?" Articuno said in a terrifying voice. "Well, let me validate your fears!" Articuno charged up a massive ice beam that Shard tried to dodge although it still hit him in the leg.

"Gahhh." Shard said.

"Now for a few of my physical attacks." The giant bird shoutted as it struck Shard again and again with its wings.

Shaking her head, Flare leapt forward towards Moltres. She had to be careful - her Sunny Day attack would power up Moltres as well. However, she had a slight advantage - her Flash Fire would absorb any of Moltres' Fire attacks, whereas Moltres only had Pressure to support it.

Taking a breathe, she sprang forward and fired a Flamethrower at the bird.

Raptar meanwhile, was busy with a large group of Ice types. Kicking out at a Sealeo and a Dewgong trying to creep up behind him, he fired a succesion of Fire Blasts out at the many Glalie, Snorunt, Sneasel and Delibird pressing in at the front. Roaring in frustration, he leapt up high to avoid the Ice Pokemon surrounding him, and fired a huge Fire Blast straight down as he leapt. Landing smoothly a few feet away, he turned to face the few survivors.

Fang took a breather behind the rock, Lugia injured by Larry's attack. He heard a wheezing voice say, almost in his ear, "You.. *wheeze* cant... *wheeze* hide... *wheeze* from the *wheeze* creature of the sea..."
He turned around, and saw a Lugia, with red vile eyes and leg lightly bleeding, right behind him.
"Oh, crud." He ran away just as a oddly black vacuum sped toward him, sucking up dust and dirt in the way.
"What the heck was that balck vacuum?" he questioned himself.
Just then, the Lugia began to whirl around in a circle of black dust.
"Okay, now what's happening? First the guardian of the sea goes nuts, and now this dohicky. I just dont know."

((Yay! CF is RPing with us again :D. ))

After enduring Wing Attack after Wing Attack, Shard had had enough. Launching a Fire Blast straight at Articuno's chest, he managed to knock the bird back some. Unfortunately, it wasn't a lot.

Articuno's eyes glowed fiercely. "Die you misserable pokemon!" He yelled as he created a Whirlwind, which flung Shard into a wall like he was a twig.

"AAAH!" Shard screamed as he felt several bones fracture.
