Fang said, "Yeah. We'd better go before upcoming doom isnt upcoming anymore." Kyogre said to Fang, <If you would like, I shall await you here, so if you need me, then...> Fang replied, <Thanks for the offer. Shard screamed out in agony. The energy that was swirling around him was altering his DNA. Consequently, all his muscles, bones, and nerves were begining to grow, shrink, and move around. To make matters worse for him, Shard's resistence to the transformation was forcing the birds to use more energy on him so the change could go just right. Oh god it hurts! It hurts! Shard would have yelled those words as well as thinking them, but the pain was forcing him to scream. I can't go on! He remembered what Lugia had said about what would happen if he resisted. If I stop resisting, at least it won't be so painful. Shard was about to accept his fate when he heard the familiar voice of a young flaaffy saying, "...but it's not right, Shard doesn't want to be Zapdos." |

Larry was starting to tired when he heard a scream. "That voice...it's...Shard! Oh man, the transformation is already happening!" Suddenly, Larry got his second wind and ran as fast as he could to the source of the Charmeleon's screams. In a short manner of time, Larry was finally across the land bridge, and only moments away from Shard and the birds. He kept up his quick pace, not caring how far the others were behind him. The only thing on his mind was saving Shard, and when he set out to do something, nothing was going to stop him from doing it. After several more minutes, Larry had finally made it into the hollowed out mountain which contained his captured friend. Although he had ben running for an extended period of time, Larry wasn't tired at all. What shocked him though was the actual sight of Shard beginning to become the legendary bird of thunder. "Shard! Don't worry, I'll save you! Somehow...." |

Having reached the ritual ground, Raptar stared as Shard's transformation began. "Lugia!" he roared. "This will never work when Shard is unwilling! Have you even checked Lighting Isle for the new Guardian?!" "They can't reply." Flare said nervously, coming up beside him. "We'll have to attack them." Her eyes glowed as she used Sunny Day, then she charged up her Electric Hidden Power and fired a bolt of electricity at Moltres. |

Because of Shard's screaming, no pokemon below heard Entei and no one noticed the sunlight getting brighter either because they were all focused on restraining Flaya and preventing her from interfering. "Let me go, let me go! I have to help him!" She cried. A raichu that was holding her spoke. "Flaya, listen. You can't let your feelings for this pokemon affect your actions. If he does not become Zapdos horrible things will happen." "I don't care, he's my friend!" Flaya shouted as she shot a thundershock at Articuno. Seeing the attack and acting quickly, a manectric jumped close to the attack and used its lightening rod ability to draw the attack to it. "We truely are sorry Flaya." It said. "But this has to happen." Despite the manectric's intentions, his lightening rod trick backfired as it increased the speed of an electric Hidden Power that hit Moltres, causing it to falter and the transformation to come to a halt. |

Fang, bewildered, looked and gaped at the transformation, which had halted. His shock turned to rage, and then he growled, "Leave him alone." Following Flare's lead, he focused his power, then used his Fire Hidden Power to strike Articuno. Walking forward, still steaming, he said, "If you want to get him, you'll have to go through me." He looked at his friends, hoping for backup. -Gardevoir~ |

Larry looked up at Lugia. He thought that Lugia was supposed to care for all other Pokemon, and to be the guardian of the sea. "Lugia, I know you're upset about losing Zapdos, but if you think you're using Shard as a replacement, think again." Larry then took a deep breath, and screamed at the top of his lungs, the immense sound waves heading right at Lugia. |

Although he tried to dodge, Lugia's massive body was to large of a target to completely evade the attack and he got hit on the under side of his wing with Larry's Hyper Voice. Shard would have been very happy to see this except he was under going a reverse transformation. All of the his body was reverting back to charmeleon form and it was happening all at once, and so was the pain. "AHHHHHH!" He screamed as everything moved back in place. He collapsed on the ground just as Flaya ran over to him. Unshackling him amit the confusion. "Shard are you alive? Speak to me! It's me Flaya." Shard, barely able to move, opened his eyes and said slowly, "Someone, move me over to those frickin birds so I can kill them." |

Fang bounded up. He looked at Shard and said, "Get on my back. I'll carry you so you can murder those dispicable wretches." He then muttered, "Hmm...Hidden Power or Razor Wind..." Eyes glinting, he said, "Let's give them a little hurricane. Shard, do you have an attack that I can amplify with my Razor Wind?" -Gardevoir~ |

"Are you sure he's even in any condition to fight?" Flaya asked with a lot of concern in her voice. "I'm fine! Trust me." Shard replied in a stubborn tone. "Yeah Fang, I've got one. Razor Wind creates a vacuum so if you fire your attack, and I let loose a Flamethrower yours will guide my attack and increase its speed. That way I can hit them despite not being able to see straight at the moment." |

Flaya protested. "Shard please, you're injured. You can't fight!" "Yes I can Flaya." Shard said in a voice that hinted he was loosing his patiencs with his newest friend. "I'll fire as soon as you do Fang, buddy." ((Gardevoir, you have my permission to say Shard used Flamethrower right after Fang uses Razor Wind.)) |

((I accept....your....er...approval.. ;p)) Fang began to whip a wind up, then launched it. Razor Wind was powerful, but as Shard let loose an almighty Flamethrower, it became more deadly. Like a 2x-powered Heat Wave, it swept through the area, a deadly blast of energy. "Who to aim it at, who to aim it at.." Fang asked himself. Almost reflexively, he fired it at Articuno, who gave a shriek and collapsed. -Gardevoir~ |

"What are you fools waiting for?" Moltres shouted at the Electric, Fire, and Ice elite gaurds. "Attack these intruders." The fire and ice pokemon followed Moltres's orders, however, the electrics didn't move. A Manectric spoke up. "Flare and Entei are your agents Moltres, you deal with them. As for their friends, they have yet to attack any electrics, so we have no querl with them." |

As the Hyper Voice hit Lugia, Larry prepared another one, this one also aimed at Lugia. He took a deep breath, and shouted, as his ear/speaker thingys amplified his screaming into a full on sonic blast. |

Once again, Larry's Hyper Voice hit Lugia, this time it hit dead on. "Not bad loudred. But let's see how well your sound waves work in a vacuum." Lugia snapped as he fired off an Aeroblast at Larry. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Shard would've liked to help Larry, but two things were preventing him: semi-consciousness and the elite guards of Moltres and Articuno. "Don't worry about Larry yet, Fang." Shard said. "We've our own problems to worry about. Plus, Larry out maneuvered Ragnirock, he can wipe the floor with Lugia. Now let's get rid of these guys." Once again Flaya protested. "Shard, please. You're far too weak to fight. Let your friends do the fighting for you." That struck a nerve in Shard. Out of a surge of rage, he snapped. "Flaya, shut up! I can fight better without you nagging me!" As soon as he was done talking, he saw Flaya crying and he realized what he had just said. "Flaya...I'm..." He tried to apologize but Flaya turned away from him. Shard sighed, then turned back to his opponents. "Let's get started Fang." |

"Right." Fang thought out loud. "Aeroblast makes a vacuum, sucking everything in.....if we had a Rock Pokemon, that would be perfect..." He had an idea. "I think this may work. Lugia is a Psychic/Flying type. Its weak to Ice. Know a way to PO Articuno so we can get it to fire at us but hit Lugia instead?" -Gardevoir~ |

Fang looked up and noticed the giant ice ball charging. He dodged out of the way, then said sarcastically, "Toro, toro!" Inspiration struck him. "Shard, wave at him like a matador and when it charges, Ill dodge and it'll smash into Lugia. That OK?" The Glalie grunted and shrieked, "GLALIE!" rather stupidly and bluntly. Although at first the glalie seemed to have stopped, the vacuum Lugia created begins to suck it up and ends up getting lodged in Lugia's mouth. A very emberrassed look comes over its face. |
