Kyogre reponded, <Well, besides the fact of that dumb Team Aqua on my butt, trying to control me, its pretty good. I guess things in Johto are a bit hectic, taking recent events?> Fang looked at the Umbreon, "Yeah, the moonlight's nice." (Time to check in on everyone's favorite Charmeleon.) "You misserable brat!" Moltres yelled as it fired another swift attack at Shard through the cave bars. "Because of you there are about 300 electric pokemon outside the doors to my citidel on Fire Isle and Articuno's on Arctic Isle demanding that we make reperations for not telling them you ate Zapdos!" (Well, almost everyone's.) "You'll have to understand that I'm not feeling apologetic towards you." Shard said with a smirk. "You guys tried to kill us less than a week ago so I ate one of you. And now, you're mad at me because you kept the story from those who deserved to hear it. Have I missed any parts of the story? Oh yeah, when my friends and I kicked your butt." Moltres let loose a Whirlwind that slammed Shard into the rear wall. "I am not going to swallow my pride over you. We are both fire pokemon yet you are pleased that I, the greatest of them in Kanto, must submit our dignity to electric types, why?" "What part about 'you tried to kill me and my friends' didn't you understand? Besides, your pride and mine have nothing to do with each other." Was Shard's reply. Moltres scoffed at him and flew off. "He really did try to kill you didn't he?" Flaya asked a few moments after Moltres left. She had been listening the whole time. "Yup. He, Zapdos, and Articuno all tried to kill us." Shard responded. "Oh." There was a momentary pause from her. "I brougt you the pokeblocks that you wanted." She said as she handed a bag of multi-colored cubes to Shard as he thanked her. As Shard ate them, Flaya looked at him with a sort of doe-eyed-innosence and asked, "Shard, could you tell me more about the world outside Lightening Isle." Shard swallowed one more pokeblock and sat down. "Sure. Well, for starters..." |

((ALL ABOARD!)) Kyogre said to Fang, <So, is this all of your crew?> Fang responded, <Yes. I have a pretty keen sense of smell, and I can detect essense of Shard, so I guess Ill have to lead the way.> He steadied himself, then began to run on the water, with Kyogre right behind him. Kyogre said, <If any of you lot feel nautious, just say so.> Fang continued to run, each pulse of his neck seeming to say, "You wont make it, you wont make it. Hahaha." He tried to ignore the sinking feeling in him that his horn kept growing more and more violent. ((Not that his horn is shaking or anything, just his horn might literally be screaming, "Disaster, disaster." )) -Gardevoir~ |

"Flaya! What are you doing down here?" Amchron snapped as he walked in on Shard talking to his daughter. "I was talking to Shard daddy. He's a nice pokemon and he tells really good stories." She replied. Amchron gave Shard a cold stare and told his daughter, "Go upstairs now." Flaya tried to protest but Amchron was quite demanding. Eventually she submitted and went upstairs. When she left, Amchron spoke. "Your actions have been a complete burnden on everyone here. Because of you, we electric pokemon are meer moments away from revolution against Moltres and Articuno for their deception. The slightest thing could set my people off. And yet, I can't help but pity you. You who merely defend your friends and then obeyed the laws of the jungle are now paying unjustly for your crime. However, if Zapdos isn't revieved, a world wide crusade of electric pokemon will start." He was about to say more, but Shard cut him off. "Spare me your half-hearted sympathy. If you really thought this was wrong you'd be helping me get out of here instead of obeying the other two birds. But it doesn't matter. There are still two days until Lugia gets back and they try to change me, my friends will rescue me by then." "I truly hope they do Shard, I truely hope they do." As Amchron began walking off, he turned and said. "At least you have some hope to hold on to." |

((... *dusts self off* )) Fang, after about 3 hours, said, "We're *pant* here." He ran for a little, then regained his breath. Kyogre leaned forward again, and said, <All passengers please disembark. Thank you for-surfing-Kyogre....-waterways.> -Gardevoir~ |

"You are Shard's friends? Hmm." Amchron examened the group. "Raikou told me of a few of you, but he didn't tell me Shard knew an Absol nor the great Kyogre." Amchron turned to Kyogre. "Greatings, great one." He turned back to Larry. "You will not find him here, he has been taken to the center Isle. It is one that Lugia raises up when the four birds are to meet on mutual grounds. There is a land bridge connecting it to each Isle so the birds may summon their armies if needed. Take that path and hurry! He may become Zapdos at any moment and my Lord should not be reserrected in such an unholy manner." Plus, Flaya has taken a real shine to him. Amchron thought. |

As he passed Raikou, Raptar inclined his head slightly. "So, we are agreed that this must not go on?" he asked him softly. Meanwhile, Flare was nervously approaching Amchron. She bowed low, and said in a slightly shaking voice, "It is a p-pleasure to meet you, sire. I have h-heard much about you f-from Raptar." |

((Yup, the monster group. I made sure before I even brought her in as a character.)) "No, time to waste." Amchron told Flare. "We were unable to do anything ourselves without risking a war where electric pokemon faced fire and ice pokemon. You children, however, have no defined alliegence. Therefore, your actions will not cause an eruption of bloodshed." Raikou nodded. "Go Entei, if you and Flare strike Moltres, he will have no one to blame but himself. Millions of innocent pokemon will be safe." |

"Would that be safe?" Raptar asked. "Flare is the Fire representative under Moltres remember, and he controlled her before. It could happen again." Flare watched Amchron nervously, not sure what to do. She turned her gaze to Raikou, awaiting his decision. |

"And you have a better chance without her?" Raikou asked sarcastically. "Don't forget, she has the ability Flash Fire. She can protect all of you from all fire attacks. Plus, Moltres must stay in his spot during the transformation process. He won't be able to take control. Now hurry!" |

Amchron assured Larry. "While their elite gaurds will be present, the birds themselves won't be a problem for at least an hour after the ritual starts. If the birds so much as move their eyes when they aren't supposed to, the whole ritual ends and must start over." |

Amchron pointed. "The land bridge is on the other side of this Island." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As Shard was muzzled and chained onto Zapdos's stone, the other birds took their positions on their stones. "Shard, this transformation will happen whether you are willing or not. However, with you, I'd say it'll take an extra half-hour and be much more painful if you resist." Lugia told him. Shard responded in his usual demeanor. "Lugia, you do know that once I'm free, I'm going to kill every last one of you suped-up chickens whether you want me to or not. However, if I become Zapdos, I'll be able to do it an extra half-hour quicker even if you resist." Moltres laughed. "I see you are brutish to the end Shard. Unfortunetly for you, the will of Zapdos will dominate your own. You won't be able to think or act on your own accord; you might as well be dead." "Enough of this stalling." Articuno snapped. "As much as I too would like to take the time to mock Shard, the elements will soon fall out of balance without Zapdos. We must begin." The three birds spread their wings, a circle of energy surrounded Shard, and the hour and a half transformation was under way. |

"So, what, we just run up and attack them??" panted Flare, running alongside Raptar. It was quite an effort to keep up with the powerful Entei, and she was puffed. "I assume that's what Amchron and Raikou wanted, but as with you, I am not sure. See that light? The process has started and we must hurry." On his last word he put on a burst of speed and shot ahead of Flare, clearing the last of the bridge and speeding towards the birds. |

"Well we know where to go...now let's hurry, I have a bad feeling that the transformation is about to begin soon," sighed Larry as he immediaetly took off for the land bridge that was on the other side of the island. |
