Jen snarled, her lips rising off her teeth just as her friends had taught her. She watched as the shadow elf--Alex, she reminded herself-- walked into the small hut and started chanting things above a body. It must be the healer. She glanced at the elf behind her and slowly lowered her bow so that the arrow was pointed down but still knocked. "Why do you care, elf? You're not exactly friends if I heard correctly." She glared at him for a moment. Glancing back toward Alex, Jen saw a mist forming. He said he could help me find the cure... Making a quick decision, she put the arrow back in her quiver and unstrung her bow all in one motion. "There, I'm no threat." She glanced at the elf scornfully and hurried to Alex and the strange stationary mist.

"thats better, and we may not not be friends but i wasn't about to stand here while you killed him" dram said as he lowered his bow, put the arrow back in it's quiver and unstrung his bow and walked into the hut.

Silver watched as the last of the people entered the building. Unable to hear what they were saying, she settled herself in for a long wait. Then, she felt a force, a tug, a need to enter the hut. Unsure as to what had caused this, she looked around. Then she saw a faint shimmer in the air. A shade! Quickly, she did as the shade bid. It was not wise to argue with the dead.

Jen watched as the mist shifted and seemed to solidify with no wind. She suddenly heard wings and turned to see the draconling flying into the hut. She stared. She heard a hacking cough behind her and turned to find a woman, exaclty like the one dead, floating in the air above the body. Jen blinked. Though Jen was often accused of magic, she couldn't perform it and had never seen anything like this.

"Isn't Necromancy grand? I don't know why people forbidded it, but my best guess is the overuse of Necromancy to raise minions. But hey, I cant stop the whole world can I?" Alex always got in a good mood when he used Necromancy. The sensation it had when used could sooth the soul, but it was overused by evil of course.

Jen glanced at Alex. Are magicians always this weird? It's a good thing I don't have to deal with them too much. Jen rolled her eyes and watched the figure above the body. It appeared to be trying to speak.

Silver felt more need coming from the shade. As she watched it, she seemed to remember images that she never had remembered before. She knew that some shades could project images and memories into the minds of others, this was her first experience with it. The shade guestured for her to speak, and so she described what she saw in the first memory/image. "I see a land of plenty. There are clean streams, and lush forests. Everything seems right." Then the second image clarified, and she almost couldn't speak. "Then the land withers. The trees turn brown, and fall to the ground, leaving great patches in the forest like a disease. The streams have become cloudy, and are full of dead fish floating on top. The whole image stinks of wrongness." Siver couldn't speak for moment, struck dumb by the horror of the image. Worse, it looked like the area around her home.

Jen turned to the little dragon in horror. It can't be...not the forest... Jen stared at the draconling. Was this a prophesy? If so, it was a terrible one.

"Sounds like an image from a book I read called Apocalypse: is it Coming?. But I think its balony. If anything is the end of the world it's when Humans cast out all other beings. " Alex was almost out of time keeping the shade in this world. "If it has anything else to say it better say it now, cause im almost out of time."

Will slammed the door and jumped in he had what looked like a blob of blue and red feathers in his arms.
"Where's the healer i need him now."Will yelled.
When he saw the shade he whispered "No this cant be."

"this is no tome to complain about humans, the forest and my familys lives are at stake here" dram said, suddenly someone burst through the door.

"I need a healer now i fear if i don't get help soon my barn owl might die."Will said as he started to cry.
The shade turned to him and Will saw a vision of a big red leather-bound book.
"Please help me find a book its big and bound with red leather." Will urged.

((Nidoman, saying that we all started looking is Godmoding. What if some of us dont want to?))

"Well, I guess my homeland is near there, so it's probebly in danger to." Alex look at the human that had just walked in. "A red leather book? I can cure your owl without a book. Simple Necromancy, but im afraid he will be put to rest for moments also." Alex would revive the owl, as he could revive animals with lesser magic bondings. "But ill need your magic to help."

"I'm not so sure i want necromancy performed on my owl but if it's the only way...."Will said as he layed Sapphire on the table.
"I haven't exactly worked on healing magic yet."Will said.

"Im afraid I cant heal your owl untill I release this shade." It was slipping away from Alex's hand though. "Hurry up and talk with it if you want to, cause its almost gone."

((There are a couple of problems with you knowing the healer, Nidoman. First, the seer is female [read previous posts] and second, you called for the healer not Simon when you came in, suggesting you didn't know them.))

Jen glared at a young boy as he ran in, though her gaze softened as she saw the owl he was carrying. His gaze went to the spirit and Jen remembered what was happening. "So, is there anthing we can do?" she asked no one in particular.

Silver saw another picture in response to the question. "I see a small band of creatures traveling. There are two elves, two humans, a dracling, and other animals. They are traveling to a small tower. It is short, squat, but definatly a tower. Someone comes out of the tower to greet them. Then the image blurs..." Silver watched with mixed feelings as the shade appeared to waver and fade slightly. The urgency of the shade's need had also abated.

"So 2 elves, 2 humans.....Wait a sec! Its us isnt it? Great thats all I need to clog my lessons even more, a mission to save the land." Just at that moment the shade slipped away and dissipeared. "Well, Now lets heal that owl."

Jen stared at the spot where the figure had been. Were they to travel together then, the elves, the humans, and the animals? What about the forest creatures? Jen turned to Risha. <What do you think?>
Risha looked up at her quizzically. <Obviously, we should go along.>
Jen raised an eyebrow. <What about the forest?>
Risha snorted. <It'll be fine; it wasn't an epidemic. Besides, a shade--a seer, at that--told us to. Always listen to foretellings. When they're true, they are important.>
Jen sighed. "Well, I guess we're stuck on this journey." She glared at the forest elf. "Don't think that I won't stick up for myself, though." Jen looked around at their strange party and saw the dracling again. <Will you be able to keep with us by flying or do you want someone to travel with?> Jen smiled. <I'd be happy for the extra....um, friendly company and I wouldn't mind the extra weight on my shoulder.>
