Setting: Mostly Route 114 (except it's not called that in the story)

Plot: It's basically loosely based around the Zangoose - Seviper war as portrayed in the Anime, except with anthro characters. Not that much plot to speak of, will leave most of it to the players.

Additional Rules: Not that much really. There will be 4-5 main characters and anyone else who wants to join in can as long as they don't come in after the 1st page.

Anthro Seviper....weird. Would they have legs? Anyway, accepted of course, good luck.

1. I'd prefer it if all people who joined created new characters, even if they had one in the old RP. If you really want to use your old character you have to give me a good storyline reason.

2. If you want to join you must PM your profile to me first. I want to keep the RP clean of requests.

3. Spelling and grammar, people, spelling and grammar. If your grammar isn't up to scratch then your posts will be considered as spam. S-A-P-M d'oh! Seriously, no joke.

4. There is no rule number four.

5. Try not to do anything incredibly obscure. I'm sure it was fun for CF to have her character die in the RP and come back as a ghost, but it sort of hurt the story. I've decided to aplly for a roleplay based on my fabourite television series, but be prepared for a lot of information:

Roleplay Name: Stargate the RP
Roleplay Genre: Science Fiction I guess.



Setting: Several sites including the Cheyenne Mountain facility on earth (a.k.a Stargate Command).

Chulak.
Dakara.
Abydos.
Tollana.
Langara.
Orilla.
The Alpha Site.
The Atlantis Planet.

Characters: Well you can make up your own really, but I will explain about the Stargate universe in my first post.

Rules: General RP rules.

Hmm, you'll probably need some sort of new SG1 enemy, unless you go with the Atlantis galaxy. Threads tied up most of the remaining baddies, and Mobius dealt with... er, shouldn't post spoilers. Go ahead, but you might want to keep the setting small-ish at first, so people don't run around without ever seeing one another.

Roleplay Name: Pokemon Survivor

Roleplay Genre: Pokemon and Survivor

Setting: Outcast Island, a small, tropical, deserted island off the coast of 5 Island. (It's actually there in FRLG.) We start in a fairly large boat at first, and then we arrive at the island.

Plot: 16 Pokemon, 39 days, 1 survivor. 16 Pokemon split up in 2 tribes to compete in various physical and mental challenges (we'll simulate the physical ones...somehow...), winning tribe wins immunity, losing tribe has to vote out a member. Once we're down to 10, they join into one tribe, and the one person who wins immunity in each immunity challenge cannot be voted off, but everyone else is fair game. I'll explain the rules of each challenge and answer any questions at any time.

Other rules: Good grammar, blah blah blah, standard RP rules blah blah blah...anyway, since this RP probably won't get 16 contestants, if there are open spaces, you may be two characters, just try not to get them confused. No legendaries and ubers, and don't vote a guy out cuz you hate them outside the RP, only inside the RP. And, um....that's about it.

I am a mod, I followed the rules, now I have to wait for Gryph or Galar to accept the RP as they are the other mods of the RP forum.

Sounds good, S_S. You'll have to keep a tight grip on godmoding in physical challenges, of course, so make sure you either keep an eye on who's playing, or put in some special rules to keep things fair. Will you be playing a contestant yourself? Y'may want to take a "host" role, with so much competition between players, or play one character on each tribe.

Well, I was thinking that there is something missing in the RP section, and that is a classic. How can we call this RPing with out a D&D RP. It would take a lot of work to even start one, so I am asking if I can start a true D&D campaign before I do any of the work. Asssuming anybody joins it will be run using version 3.5 rules. Dungeon masters (people running the campaign) would be me and Registeel_Rocks if he can be convinced, and anybody else with any previous experiences who is interested.

So, what do you say.

That Dungeon Master idea sounds like the solution to an RP I've wanted to do.

I know I'm new, but I can assure you that I'm quite capable of running a Role Playing thread, so here is my application:

Roleplay Name: Act I: The Beginning
Roleplay Genre: Pokemon

Setting: Hoenn region although greatly scaled up to ralistic sizes, ie Sootopolis is a large city with skyscrapers, lots of buildings to enter - hospitals, offices stores etc Everywhere else is also larger like this, for instance Mt Pyre is a real Mountain, not a large hill. There is also a mag lev train in Mauville to the Johto and Kanto regions.

Plot: A group of people (the RPGers) are setting out from Littleroot town on their adventures together in the world of pokemon, they are all neighbours who figure they'll have a better time together. Everyone progresses together as in the game Emerald, catching Pokemon, Battling, collecting items etc. Once everyone has defeated the Elite four in each region, they may enter the World Championships where they compete for title of World Champion against many trainers!

Additional Rules: Each person may preselect one basic pokemon from any Generation as a gift from a family member before starting, that will be level 5 - that will be their only pokemon until one is caught. It may be shiny
I'd prefer it if the group was kept to no more than 5 or 6 people, although if ther is enough demand, It would be ok to have people join part way through. Characters that only pop up now and again would be fun (like Gary)
Once evryone has PMd me with their profiles we can start!
