Name: Bartimaeus Trilogy RP

Genre: Action/Magic/Demons etc.

Location: Magician-controlled London, in an uncertain time.

Rules: Spelling please! And grammar! A mangled post makes a mangled story. Also all requests to join must be PMed directly to me. If I accept you then you must post your character profile along with your first post.

Recent History: After a recent failure to conquer North America, the English Empire has been stretched for resources and Magicians and Commoners (non-magicians) alike are beginning to lose faith in their country. Then, less than a month after the English army was pushed out of New York, the Prime Minister died of unknown causes. As a reaction to this sudden death, several prominent figures in Magical society attempt to take the proverbial throne, and this sent the whole of the English empire, including London, into subdued anarchy. First to attempt to come into power was Mr. John Mandrake, a 26 year old man, who was incredibly loyal to the government and it's system. John Mandrake is a very powerful magician, who had a key role in foiling several large scale attempts of toppling the english government. He also conrols the famous "Gladstone's Staff" which has the power to launch incredibly powerful magical bolts at his enemies. He is the leader of the Loyalist faction, which is attempting to rebuild the former government.

Another person attempting to come into power is the leader of the Patriot faction, Samuel Hunt. He is a weak magician, but he is very good at manipulating others. Also he owns the famed "Amulet of Samarkand" which protects its wearer from most forms of magic. The Patriots also want to restore the government, but in a completely different form. A straight out Totalitarian state. The believe that government of this form would allow the Magicians more power and would keep the commoners in check.

The third is Ms. Jane Farrar, leader of the Enforcers. This group is formed out of the former Police Department, known as the Night Police. They were a group of non-magical werewolves, who managed to keep the commoners in a permanent state of fear. The Enforcers have few magicians, but more than make up for it with their large army of werewolves and their powerful leader, Jane Farrar. She is incredibly competent, and is rumoured to be able to control at least two djinn at once (not any easy feat, one Djinn alone can be hard, let alone two or an afrit).

The commoners are also rising up in the anarchy caused by their leader's death. Though many remain subservient to the Magicians, there is a small group of special Commoners called The Resistance who fight the Magicians openly. They cannot conrol demons, but some have special powers (such as being able to see demons, sense magic, or resist magical attacks). They often steal magical items or weapons from the Magicians to use in the fight.

Now London is in a state of war, and most people are afraid for their lives. They can go out their businesses as normal, most of the time, but if you stumble into enemy territory then you're going to get yourself killed. But rarely are there full scale battles, though a random skirmish comes along once in a while.

Things you should know: For demons: Medium to high level demons have the ability to change form. But while in a form in the human world their essence begins to ache. Transforming can alleviate this for a while, but it only works temporarily. Also any orders that a demon is given can not be avoided, but only if the order is given while both the Demon and Magician are in seperate pentacles. Thsi does not mean that demons have no mind of the own, in fact quite the opposite. They all have very different personalities and are quite fun to RP. I'm just trying to say that I'd like it if people who join aren't only Human. I want some demons too.

Name: Realms of Imagination

Storyline: Shortly before I died of a knife wound to the stomach, my comrade, Admin, transported to the Realms of Imagination so as to save my life.

After a mental breakdown caused by my refusal to complete a game of checkers, Leona stabbed herself in the heart, thus dying. However, because of the sig she used once, with the photo of her cat (who's name is Leona), part of her spirit was transferred to the Realms in the form of that cat. When she died in the Human Realms, the rest of her spirit was sent to the Imaginary Realms to take the form of that cat. Thus, Leona is alive and well in the form of a cat in the Realms of Imagination.

The storyline is thus: Leona and I have to get out of the Realms of Imagination and back to the Human Realms. Leona and I have to try to find a way out of the Realms while surviving it's many shocks and surprises.

Brief summary of what the Realms of Imagination are: The Realms are the place where all human creations are born and live. All of our Pokemon fusions, custom Trainers, hybrids; every character, animal and machine we humans create, comes to life in those Realms. The Realms consist of several areas, or "Counties" where these creations live and prosper.

Fusion County. Where all Pokemon fusions, hybrids and Pokemon-related creations live. A very large area based mostly in a giant old forest, but also extending over a vast lake and set of meadows, ending in the Fusion Mountains.

Techno Build. A small mountainous area where all mechanical creations live. Includes robots, cyborgs, etc.

Role Play County. All Role Plays ever created in the Human Realms come to life here. All character, plots and events exist and occur in this County.

Fan Fiction County. See above, but for Fan Fictions and stories. Fan Ficton County is neighbouring to RP County.

Dark Matter. Where all evil, unknown and mysterious creations dwell. Not much is known about it, but it is mainly underground, with a deep and gloomy forest over the top of it. Includes elves, gnomes, hobbits, gremlins, djinni, etc.

the Other End. Where all human, human-related and mainly human creations exist. Talking animals, normal human characters, humans with any powers. A fairly normal place, existing in a set of meadows and lakes, bordering on to the opposite of Fusion Mountains.

Setting: it starts off in 5 different cities, but we will meet up with each other later on

Type: Adventure to save the world
Story: The Land of Arpee (for those slowies, it's RP) is threatened by a Dark Tyrant, who is called Dark Tyrant, and who wants to destroy all creative RPing in the universe. It is your job to save RPing and defeat Dark Tyrant. So pretty much you play as your favourite RP character to date as you strive to defeat that meanie.
Spesh rules: You may only play as one of your characters, but your other characters may appear occasionally.

The Pokemon League and the city surrounding it entitled Fortitude City
Plot:
During a Pokemon League match the entire Fortitude City (built around the remains of an ancient castle) and the Pokemon League itself were invaded and taken over completely. No communications have been able to get through to the city, nor has anything come out of the city since communication was lost. The Pokemon Professors have assembled a strike force to penetrate the city's castle wall defenses. There are also trainers inside the city trying to break out.
Additional Rules:
Not really... Just that you can't fly over the walls into the city. It's too dangerous, the Champion Tower set in the centre of the city has been taken control of and can blast anything out of the sky with one well placed Thunderbolt or Spike Cannon. So there!

Setting:

A space station, space shuttle, fighter, anything in space!

Plot:

You're a trainer with pokemon but in the future with spacetravel. You can make new pokemon too that are of the space type, thus meaning they are able to fly through space (So Mewtwo would be a Psychic/Space type pokemon, etc)

Additional Rules:

You cannot land on planets, all the adventure takes place in space with your pokemon. You can battle another pokemon trainer by letting them onboard your vessel or you and them can launch your space pokemon to battle in space outside the spacecraft.

No Deoxys

BUT You may invent a pre-evolution to Deoxys. Space is huge, so is the next generation. Invent away! Let your imagination run wild.

All space pokemon are still absed on the basic pokemon fundamentals though, no super god pokemon.

Rules: Genenral RP rules, but a player such as a Warrior, Deputy or Leader, basically any cat that is ranked as a Kit or Apprentice has to have their character do what a Leader, Deputy, Warrior, Medicine Cat or Queen asks them to.

Setting: In a forest are four Clans of wild cats, Thunderclan, Riverclan, Windclan and Shadowclan. The leader of each clan is given nine lives from Starclan, Starclan is the clan composed of all the deceased Leaders, Warriors and other clan cats, the setting will be in Thunderclan.

Positions:

Leader- The leader of the Clan.
Warriors- They patrol the borders of clan territory and hunt for the Clan.
Apprentices- Warriors in training.
Medicine Cat- Pretty much explains itself, looks after sick or injured cats.
Queens- Spend most of tehir time in the Nursery looking after kits.
Elders- Elderly cats that cannot hunt for themselves.
Kits- Kittens.

Recent History: An allegiance has formed between Riverclan and Shadowclan, they are planning to drive Windclan from their territory for the second time, Thunderclan has stopped both clans in a battle in Windclan territory but the Leader of Thunderclan, Bluestar, has lost her last life and has died, a new Leader will be appointed to Thunderclan by Starclan, who will tell their decision to the Medicine Cat.
