Roleplay Name: Search for Spiritomb Roleplay Genre: Pokemon, Adventure Setting: An abandoned mansion in Kanto. Plot: Spiritomb, the sort of "head of the family", has mysteriously disappeared. Nightmare (a Missingno.), Haunter, and Dusclops, along with other local Ghost/Dark types, go out to find him. I mean that if you can find it in the world of Final Fantasy or Golden Sun or a similar game, you could probably have it. Here's my suggestion for a weapon and techniques: Haunter has always struck me to be the sort to use a staff. As he has no limbs, that would give a staff even more flexibility than normal. Haunter also tends to lean toward special moves, so we could try making him a magic user of some sorts. Weapon(s): Almian Staff A staff imbeded with a magic gem. It increases magic ability to allow anyone to use magic effectivly. Move 1 : Whack Whacks with a staff. Strength: Low Move 2 : Windmill Spins a staff to deal heavier damage Strength: Medium Move 3 : Healing Gale Summons a gale of healing to recover the party for 50% hp. Strength: Inderect Move 4 : Thunder Summons a thunder storm to fry all enemys. Highly innacurate. Strength: Very High Move 5 : Flamethrower Tosses flames to deal damagew. Similar to Thunderbolt. Strength: Medium Move 6 : Porygon Summons Porygon. Porygon uses Thunder, Fire Blast, or Blizzard randomly. Strength: High Move 7 : Skarmory Summons Skarmory. Skarmory causes a gust to deal moderate damage to opponent's party. Strength: Medium Move 8 : Roserade Summons Roserade. Roserade either stabs with his spikes to deal damage and/or poison. Strength: Medium-Low See what I mean? Yes, that means you can use Summons to use non Psychic, Dark or Ghost types. Edit your post to include something like this. |

Yay! We have our main bad guy! But, change "Captivate" on your special moves; I don't want to get genders involved. Although, that could be how you captured Spiritomb. All we need now is a Dusclops, for whom I suggest an axe or a shield. |

If you want to say something for your character, write in white. K? Now we can start: Nightmare awake that morning to a loud BANG from upstairs. "Darn Haunter," he muttered as he drifetd upwards to Spiritomb's room above his own. In place of Spiritomb's bed was a smoldering crater. "Haunter! Get in here!" he shouted. Ok Beav, your turn. This is Spiritomb's disappearance: make it clear that you did NOT do this. |

Spiritomb struggled as Gardevoir looked over the freakish Pokemon. "Darling, please don't struggle or I'll have to terminate you......I already had to have Tele and Porty, my 2 star teleporting Abra twins, AND the Explosions Department, that is my darling Solrocks, Sol and Rocky, to catch you. But STILL you gave them grief, so unfortunately my Ballistic Boys, Gall & Lade, had to take control." Gardevoir gazed at Spiritomb. "Let's just wait 'till we see what the PSI Mafia have to say about this......" Gardevoir smiled, a smile that made ice cold shivers snake down Sprirtomb's spine. Her voice was husky, seductive, and Spiritomb found himself attracted to her even though she had just spouted a sick plan. He finally controlled himself and spat out every foul word and term her knew in an echoey, eerie voice. "Oh? You don't like me? See how you like THIS!" hissed Gardevoir with pure hatred and madness tainting her voice, and unleashed a bolt of electricity so fast that Spiritomb barely had time to blink and it hit him. He was out. "Sweet Dreams, Spiritomb darling..." Chingling |

"Haunter, tell me you haven't been playing with dynamite again," Nightmare said. "I didn't do it," Haunter said around a yawn. "I was trying to find out what happens if you use Nightmare on yourself. Then I was rudely awakened from the bliss when you started yelling." Haunter examined the crater. "Frankly, it looks like someone teleported in, used Explosion, and teleported out," he said after a minute. "Computer? Search for Pokemon that learn 'Teleport' and 'Explosion'." The computer beeped, and said, "1 match found: Claydol." "Very puzzling," Nightmare replied. "There are no Claydol around here. Computer? Search Webmaster Spiritomb Location." The computer beeped, and said, "Location: Bedroom. Status: Resting." "Odd," Nightmare said. "Computer? Security Cam. 5 minutes ago." A video stated playing on the screen. There sat Spiritomb on his bed sleeping, as stated. A flash of light came suddenly. Two Abra and Solrock stood beside his bed. The Abra touched Spiritomb and backed away. They nodded to the Solrock and teleported away. The Solrock then exploded with a BANG! Nothing remained but a crater. Nightmare came up through the floor. "Haunter! Get in here!" The video turned off. "Kidnapped! No way!" Nightmare cried. "What do we do now?" Haunter asked. Nightmare sighed, and replied: "Go get Dark and Dusk. Tell them to bring weapons. The only thing I can think of to do is to go look for him." His last though before they left was: Whoever is responsible, look out for the Missingno. No beav, it doesn't mater what shade you use. Just be sure it's purple. Oh, and nice plot twist there Chingling! |

Note: Afonso won't be able to play with us for a while. I'll take control of his character until he gets back. A few hours later... "Ok, we're ready to go," Nightmare announced. "I did some research while y'all were getting ready. Apparently, whoever is responsible for this is a Psychic type. My resources tell me that whoever it was, it was probably a Gardevoir. Keep an eye out for any Psychic types you see, especially Gardevoir; They might be enemies. We'll look in those woods about five miles from here first," Nightmare said. "Well, what are we waiting for?" Dark replied. And off they went. "Those woods" are indeed what the humans call Viridian Forest. Just so you know. |

Gardevoir sighed as Xat and Tu, her two psychic equivalents to a spycam, used Future Sight. A large screen-like thing appeared between them and Gardevoir viewed Nightmare, Haunter, Dusclops and Gengar trekking through Viridian Forest. "Surely...." observed Gardevoir, "A Pokemon so intelligent as to have a security system installed in his house would probably realize that my troops in there are all on stanby to counter any threat to my plans....." "Mr Mime, Mime Jr, Ms Essy and Dr Peon.....are you on standby?" "Yes, Maam!" came the reply. "Good......Attack." At that moment, a Mr Mime, Mime Jr, and two Espeons attacked the group. Chingling |

"Finally! We're there," Haunter said as they approached the forest. "Be on guard for an attack," Nightmare said. "The locals aren't all that strong compared to us, but we might not be the only travelers in there. We must be cautious," he stated. A little while later they were in the forest. Nightmare had been here many times before as a child. It seemed smaller than it had back then. Nightmare was immersed in his memories when they heard a yell. A Mr Mime, Mime Jr, and two Espeon leaped from the trees in front of them. The Mr Mime said, "Knock them out, but don't kill them. The boss wants 'em alive," he ordered. "Who are you to think we deserve this?" Nightmare asked. "We are but four travelers wandering the forest in search of our friend." "Bold words for a coward," said one of the Espeon. "Equally bold words for one with a type disadvantage. What makes you think we couldn't take you on?" Haunter replied with a sarcastic tone in his voice. "Attack!" said Nightmare, swinging his sword at the Mr Mime. Before he could react to it, it had already brought him to the ground, knocked out.. Meanwhile, MagikDark had already defeated the two Espeon with Dark Pulse. Ok Beav, Conman, your turn. |

"Down!" shouted Dusk. Before waiting for an answer, he swung his fist towards Mime Jr, it bursting into flames as he did. It missed by a hair, hitting the tree behind him, leaveing a scorched mark, smoke riseing from the centre. Turning quickly, he parried a blow, before stricking Mr Mime with a Psybeam. "I sure hope the place doesn't catch fire," he said, attacking again. |

The Mime Jr looked in all directions for help, but none came. He started running away. "Dusk! Seize him!" Nightmare shouted. Dusk dropped his scythe on the ground and chased after him. "Nrgh! Hngh! Lemme go!" the Mime said. "I think it's obvious you work for Gardevoir isn't it? Tell me where we could find her, and I might consider sparing you for that cowardly attack." The small Pokemon stopped struggling. "And if I don't?" "Then you will die slowly and painfully." Nightmare readied the spell Spiritomb had given him that would destroy him. "No! Wait! I-" Before he could finish, a globe of light appeared beside him, and he died. "Darn it all," Nightmare sighed. "At least we know that they know about us." "Obviously," Haunter started, "Gardevoir isn't in here, and neither is Spiritomb. Otherwise, she would've came after us herself and been SURE to kill or capture us." "A good point," Nightmare replied. "Also, someone with enough hard cash to keep a patrol up out here would need to be far enough away to be worth it. I thin they're after us too," he finished. "But why?" asked Dusk. "We'll find out soon enough I'm afraid," Nightmare replied. "On to Cinnabar then; maybe we'll find out more there." They continued on without further incident. Nice one Chingling. Do me a favor though? PM me with Gardevoir's plans. Kthxby |

Sorry! A few days later, the party arrived at Cinnabar Island. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Dark asked. Nightmare replied saying, "I've got a friend here who might be able to tell us something about this. I know this guy, so don't say anything - you might get Glitched." "You didn't answer my question." "Yes, this might be a good idea. Just don't say anything, anyone. Especially you Haunter." A little while later, they came to a shoreline. "Hey! 'M!" he shouted. A strange creature popped out. "Missingno.? Is that you?" A tribute to Red/Blue/Yellow. This was coincedental; I didn't think of this until now. "Shh! Call me Nightmare. I was wondering if you could answer some questions." He told the odd Pokemon what had happened. "Hmmmmm.......Well, I heard somewhere that a freaky Gardevoir was wondering around. No idea why though; But, I'd bet a hundred pixels that she's in Saffron. That would give her plenty of goons to hire, and it would let her stay well hidden. It's also at a crossroads, making travel a lot easier. So, I would look there," it suggested. "Great! Why didn't I think of that sooner!? You're a genius, 'M my man!" Nightmare cried. "Sure thing, but please, don't tell anyone I'm here, please?" "You know I wouldn't," Nightmare replied. "See ya!" They left and Dusk asked, "What WAS that thing!?" Nightmare replied, "A glitch, kinda like me. The difference is that whoever makes the bodies around here forgot to make hm one, so he looks like that." "Oh. I see," Dusk said wonderingly. They then started toward Saffron City with high hopes. |
