((Well, it seems everyone here is awake at 2 AM!! Here we go, just make Tom do nesscicary movements, but nothing major.)) Tom noticed ((Whatever Kawaii's name is)) was looking at the ball with a leaf with a slight longing behind her eyes. He silently stepped away and took the one with a drop of water on it. Oak gave a wide smile. "Ahhh so you want the Squirtle! Cool, calm and collected. You two seem likea good match so far." He sat down and watched what the other two would pick. If my guesses are right...'she' should choose Bulbasaur and 'she' should choose Charmander. Oak chuckled to himself. "I crack myself up in these late years. He told himself with a faint smile. Gary was staring at the three very impaciently. Squirtle huh, looks like I'd better stand clear of this guy. Gary looked at his pokeball. I at least hope your good... He looked back at Kiki and Kon. Now I just need to see what they pick. He watched closely as Kiki neared the pokeball with the leaf on it. "Tch...figures..." He huffed again and turned away. I made up the listings for pokemon in the surrounding area, from here to Viridian City this will be the list of wild pokemon:

Oak laughed alloud. "The quick to act and mild-mannered Charmander, and the slow, but sure Bulbasaur! You two should make an amazing team. I think you should all get better acquainted with eachother before you leave." Gary sighed and thought to himself. This is so unfair...they all get cool elemental types while I'm stuck with this one! "Gramps we all know eachother already!" Gary folded his arms. "just get on with it." "Fine, fine...I have another gift for you." He walked around and handed each of them five pokeballs. "now I believe you all know how to use these, no need for me to explain right?" He walked over to a large table with a map laying on it. "Now this is the map of Kanto. You'll all be wandering this land and I expect to get a full pokemon report at each Pokemon Center! You may go and tell your parents, but they're already aware of your leave. Now go, off with you all!" He shooed the new trainers out of his lab and left them out on the step confused. "Well...at least he shut the door." Gary turned to the group. "Well my sister has a map back home for me, I'll be back in no time at all!" Gary raced down the hill and back into his house. |

I glared at the door where I had been shoved out rudely just mere seconds before, and crossed my arms, waiting for Gary to return. I sighed, and let out my Bulbasaur, holding it in my arms. "Hello, and how are you today? |

Gary ran back to the three with a map and backpack. "No worries, I'm back!" He panted and bent over to catch his breath. "So if you guys are finished around here I guess we can leave now then." Gary noticed the Bulbasaur in Kiki's arms and sighed. A grass-type? Of course...my pokemon won't be able to take any of theirs down. He turned and started to walk away arogantly. |

I raised an eyebrow as Gary looked at Bulbasaur and walked away arrogantly. I rolled my eyes and looked at Bulbasaur, who was putting his back into the sunlight. |

-Earlier- Kon released Charmander as soon as they were out of the lab. The Charmander came out in a flash of red light and blinked at Kon curiously "Hello, Charmander! I'm Kon, and I'll be your trainer!" the Charmander tilted her head to the side, and then nodded. Kon grinned "Now I wonder what I'll name you... how about Kyouko?" the Charmander replied with a happy "Char!" Kon smiled and said "Okay, Kyouko it is!" -Present- When Gary came back and told them he got the map, Kon regarded him with a smug look "So Gary, what Pokemon do you have?" Kyouko was dancing around in excitment around Kon's feet. |

I let me Bulbasaur down, and he nodded, running around the Charmander, Kyouko. I thought of a good name. "Hmmmm....Kon, do you think that 'Hitoshi' matches Bulbasaur?" I asked her. |

Gary glared at her. "Fine...." Gary pulled a pokeball from his pocket and tossed it on the ground. In a blinding red light emerged a Sandshrew. "There...I know, I know it doesn't stand a chance against any of your pokemon but it's what Gramps gave me, okay?" Sandshrew looked around confused and then up at Gary and replied with: "Shrew?" Gary nodded to him. "Don't worry, you'll get nice and strong." |

Hitoshi, who loved his new name, ran over to the Sandshrew and started to play with it, and I knelt down by it. "Oh, it's cute!" I giggled, then looked at Gary mischievously. "You have a cute pokemon." |
