Roleplay Name: Pokemon: The Vintage Years Roleplay Genre: Pokemon/Adventure Setting: Kanto Plot: It's the early morning and Professor Oak has invited three lucky kids to partake on an exciting journey filled with fun, excitement and maybe even danger where you'll be given your very own starter Pokemon. Choose from Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle. Any will do! Take your starter and collect other pokemon along the way, on your journey you'll encounter other trainers, gyms, and maybe even some of those pesky Rockets. Take this adventure into your own hands! Additional Rules: 1 - Choose 1 of the three starter pokemon (bulbasaur, charmander or squirtle) 2 - post your profile in the furom and wait until I accept you to post (you'll recieve a PM) 3 - There will be other chances to be approved later in the game as another trainer, so don't get discouraged if you didn't make the first three 4 - You must abide by all of the forums rules, or you will be booted and/or reported. 5 - Since it's taking place in Kanto there will only be the original pokemon. 6 - I'm trying to make this game fairly fast paced. No pressure though, I can understand if you have school, work, etc.. just make sure it doesn't become a duldrum. Here is the set-up for a profile. Code: Code:

Name: Kiki Gender Female Starter Pokemon: Err....I wanted Bulbasaur...darn. If no other starters are available, I'll take Charmander. History: She has a father and no siblings. Her father works with pokemon, so Kiki helped him and grew to know pokemon very well. She klnows facts about almost every type that her father breeded, which was a lot... Personality: She has a fiery temper, and can get angry easily when her mother is mentioned. She is a loner, who is extremely independent and very good at it, and keeps to herself, rarely talking. She gets along well with pokemon, and secretly wishes that she had someone to depend on, even though her stuborness and pride keeps her from admitting it. Appearance: Athletic and small for her age, she has pink hair like Sakura from Naruto and bright blue eyes. She wears a hooded jacket type shirt that has pink and white horizontal lines and dark brown kapris with dark brown Crocs. Anything else you would like to add about your character: Pokemon bond with her well, even if they don't know her. Sometimes, wild pokemon tend to follow her, so she protects them from predators and feeds them. |

Name: Kon Gender female Starter Pokemon: Squirtle History: She was an only child who became shunned by her strict parents, so one day, she ran away into the forest she loved to play in so much. She resents her parents and instead plays with the Pokemon that live in the forest. Personality: A tomboy at heart, she's kind of aggressive, but stll a nice person. Most think of her as a anti-social person, but she's actually very fun to be around Appearance: She has long red hair and blue eyes. She wears a forest green short-sleeved hoodie and black cargo pants |

"What a wonderful day it is, and a wonderful day it shall be." He glanced down at his watch with an irritated look. "Now where are those kids at? If they don't hurry up they'll be late." He walked back into his lab and picked up the telephone. "Excuse me, Katrina?" "Yes, professor?" "Please send my grandson over to the laboroatory at once." "Yes, Professor." "Thank you." He hung up the phone and glanced once more at his watch. "Late...they're all late..." |

I walked up the ramp into Oak's laboratory. I hummed while lokoing around, and collided into someone. I looked up to apologize, and saw who it was. It was Gary, Oak's grandson. |

Kon woke up with a big yawn, and checked the watch she took before she ran away "Holy crud, I'm late!" she shouted, almost falling out of the tree she slept in. She grabbed a change of clothes out of her knapsack that she put on a branch and changed into them. After jumping out of the tree and making sure she didn't have twigs in her hair, she rushed out of the forest and over towards Professor Oak's lab. When she got there, she saw Gary Oak and one of the girls that lives in Pallet "Yo, what's up?" she asked |

Gary brushed himself off and promptly got up to cyhekc who it was. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" He looked at the girl. "Where are you heading anyways. I need to get up to the lab to see my grandpa" he gave the girl a very intimidating look. Gary turned to see a girl behind him. "Whoa! Where'd you come from? I didn't even see you coming up." |

I rolled my eyes at the look he gave me. "That doesn't work on me. Also, I am one of the people your Grandpa wished to see." I stared Gary in the eye coldly with an expressionless face and without blinking, seeing if it would freak him out. I simply waved to the girl, and looked at her with warm eyes, winked, and turned back to Gary with the same face as before. |

Gary stopped in his tracks and pointed to the lab. "There, that's where I;m taking you guys. You took too long so he made me come out here and pick ya up. The guy I gotta pick up...ummm..." Gary took out a small piece of paper that had been previously folded to fit his pocket and mummbled to himself. "Kiki.....Kon.....OH! Some Tom guy. He should be on the way." He said as he started walking again. "Well? Come on!" He said demandingly. After walking for about 15 minutes, they came to his house and Gary promptly knocked on the door. ((I don't know, either I'm gonna stay as Gary or just be one of Oak's helpers)) |
