(We are on a beach...how else could Straf sneak up from behind Growlithe from the water. Muddy upchucked, then fell in the water, and Straf pulled him out)
Shade and Blade soared towards the berry trees by the water. As they descended, they saw some pokemon congregated by the beach, and hid out of sight.
"Oh, Liechi berries? I don't fancy them that much, but there's a tree right there. I'll get you some." Skamp used pin missile to knock them down, and then scuttled over to them.
Yum, thought Shade, I love fresh-picked berries. She ascended rapidly, and then fell into a steep dive towards the Skorupi with the Liechi berries in its arms. "Knock Off!" she yelled, and whacked the berries out of the pokemon's arms.
"what was that?" asked Skamp, now on the ground. The blur had come from behind him and knocked the berries out of his arms. It turned around in midair for what looked like another charge, but it crash-landed painfully. Skamp then realized that it was a Gligar. "What do you want from us?" Skamp yelled, but the Gligar stood up quickly, stole the berries, and flew off.
Back in the grove, Shade had to suffer Blade's incredulous laughter while eating her Liechi berries. "Oh, be quiet," she said, "at least I have berries." Then she saw the berry juice running down Blade's beak. "Oh, so you decided to eat without me. Go get Lonon and Trany, as you know by now, the berries are pretty good here."
