"Swablu, dodge it!" I ordered, but the Water Gun came at her too quickly, and Swablu was hit dead on. She seemed to shrug it off though, having good defenses for a Pokemon not in its final evolved form. "Ok Swablu, now it's you turn. Use Sing!" After this, I plugged my ears, hoping its singing powers wouldn't put me to sleep instead of the Wingull. |

I covered my ears and hoped that Wingull would have the sense to do so too. Unfortunately she heard the melody and dropped from the air. She landed on the ground with a thud, sleeping softly. >>Damn... Wingull can't battle like this...<< I thought. I reluctantly returned Wingull and reached for another Pokeball. I hoped I wouldn't have to use it... But Mudkip had taken a beating from a Krabby and was too tired to battle. I tossed the Pokeball into the air and it ejected a mass of red energy. The energy slowly formed into the shape of a Gyarados. Gyarados roared and stared Swablu down with a vicious look on its face. >>Good job that battle with that Golduck made Magikarp evolve<< I thought, slightly relieved. |

"What?! A Gyarados already? But we've only been here one day." Swablu backed down quite a bit. Gyarados's Intimidate was in full effect. "Ugh, what am I going to do? Swablu, use Hidden Power." Swablu started glowing white, then suddenly fired a white beam at Gyarados. This was HP Flying." |
