:x arrgh! i keep getting home incredibly late due to track practice! :x i am planning on posting episode 4 tomorrow. i REALLY want to keep continuing my story, but i'm gonna have to flucuate due to multiple things (track , science project , daily homework , preparing for choir festival 8) , looking at other posts on psypoke :roll: , etc.)

also, i plan on not having any character be like ash (you know, catch rare, cool and strong pokemon but not evolve or he just releases them). plus, i plan on having each character owning at least 6 pokemon, so that battles can be long and cool (or tiring and boring if i feel evil that day ). eventually i hope to open a poll for your favorite characters from Pokemon Chronicles, but that won't happen until waaaay later. until tomorrow when i hope to post episode 4, ciao!

FINALLY! it's been long, but at long last, it's here! episode 4!!! yay!!
Episode 4: Woods of Mystery
(Petalburg City)
Joey: Well, we made it to Petalburg!
May: Do we even need to do anything here Joey?
Joey: There isn't much, but we could visit my dad.
May: Why is he here?
Joey: Oh, no reason. He's just the gym leader.
May: Whoa! Really? You're dad is a gym leader?
Joey: Yup! I've never seen him battle though.
May: Let's stop by the gym then!
(The two enter the gym)
May: Oh! There's already a battle taking place!
(A young man with silverish hair is battling Norman, Joey's father)
Young Man: Metang! Use confusion to finsish off his slaking!
Matang: Taang!
{Metang used confusion!}
Slaking: Akiiing...
Norman: Ok, that's good enough. Slaking, return!
Young Man: So, I've won?
Norman: Yes, Steven, you've earned the Balance Badge!
{Steven obtained the Balance Badge!}
Steven: Alright! That's five down! Only three more to go!
(Steven exits the gym)
Joey: Hey Dad!
Norman: Oh! Joey! How nice of you to come. And who's your friend?
May: My name is May. Pleased to meet you.
Joey: I guess that battle you just fought was pretty difficult, eh?
Norman: That Steven is quite the pokemon trainer. He's already quite famous for being the son of the president of Devon.
May: Oh! I've heard about him. They say he's already caught over 50 pokemon.
Joey: Over 50?!?!? That's alot!!
Norman: Anyone can catch and raise pokemon. It just depends on the determination of the trainer. Anyways, I see you're on your trainer's quest now too.
Joey: Yup. We both are.
Norman: Then you should go through Petalburg Woods to get to Rustboro City where you two can fight for your first badges.
Joey: Alright then! I'll be sure to do that.
Norman: Alright, be off then. And don't come back to me until you have 4 gym badges.
Joey: Bye dad!
May: Nice to meet you!
(Joey and May exit the gym and head for petalburg woods)
May: Gosh, these trees are getting bigget by the second.
Joey: Tell me about it. And they're starting block out the sunlight too.
(Something rustles in the bushes)
Joey: Hm? What's that?
{Wild appeared!}
May: A shroomish! This one's mine! Go, torchic!
Shroomish: Mish?
May: Torchic, use scratch!
{Torchic used scratch!}
{A critical hit!}
Shroomish: Oomish!
May: Hmm... that should've lowered its HP quite alot... go, pokeball!
{May threw a Pokeball!}
Shroomish: Mish...
(The pokeball, after hitting shroomish, lands on the ground and moves back and forth. but it quickly stops and signals that the pokemon was captured succesfully)
May: Yay! I caught myself a shroomish!
{Gotcha! Shroomish was caught!}
{Shroomish's data was added to the Pokedex!}
Joey: That's great! Now we each have 2 pokemon!
May: C'mon, let's hurry up and get through this natural maze now.
(1 and 1/2 hours later...)
Joey: Arrrgh! I swear I've seen that stump before!
May: We did. Let's face it, we're lost.
Joey: Maybe we can find someone to help us out of this crazy maze.
murmur murmur...
May: Shhh! I hear voices!
Joey: I heard it too! It came from that direction! (points to his right)
(Joey and May follow the voices to a small clearing in the forest)
May: Look! There are 2 guys in red cloaks there!
Joey: They don't look too friendly...
May: Shh... they're talking. Let's listen and see if we can learn any ways to get outta this forest.
Guy #1: ...so, here's the latest news from Maxie. He says that in order for the plan to call IT to life, we need this orb thing.
Guy #2: Orb? Sounds wierd, but it works for me. As long we achieve world domination, nothing can stand in our way.
May: (whispering) Did you hear that? They're talking about taking over the world!
Joey: (whispering also) Yes! It's quite...ah...ah...ACHOO! (Joey sneezes very loudly)
Guy #1: Someone's here!
Guy #2: Hey! Over there! There's 2 kids eavesdropping!
May: Uh-oh!
Guy #1: Correct little girl. Now that you've heard confidential information, we're gonna have to make sure you keep quiet.
Guy #2: Yeah, you're gonna get it!
{Strange men would like to battle!}
{Strange men sent out numel and poochyena!}
Joey: We've got no choice May. We've got to battle. Go! Lotad!
May: Get 'em torchic!

May: Gosh, my pokemon are in poor conditions.
Joey: Tell me about it. My mudkip and lotad have really low health from both this battle and all these annoying wild bug pokemon.
May: We still don't know how to get outta here though...
Voice: I can lead you out.
Joey: Who said that?
(A young man that looks around 18 years old comes through the bushes)
Young Man: I know this forest very well and could get you out in no time.
May: Thank you so much!
Young Man: Don't mention it.
(The young man leads out of the forest in about 5 minutes)
Young Man: Here you are! This is the route that will take you to Rustboro City.
May: Thank you very much again.
Joey: Yeah, thanks. What's your name?
Young Man: Me? My name is Cross. I'm a pokemon trainer.
Joey: Really? I am too!
Cross: I know that. I watched you two battle those wierd men. You two did pretty good.
May: Would you like to come with us, on our trainer's quest?
Joey: May! Who gave you permission to invite some joe off the street?
Cross: Sure, why not. I don't have much else to do these days.
May: Welcome aboard our team!
Joey: Hmmm... don't get too comfortable around here.
(The trio starts to walk towards Rustboro City)
May: So, why do you not have much to do?
Cross: Well, the only thing left to do after getting all 8 badges is to train pokemon to challenge the Pokemon League.
Joey: What?!?!? You have all 8 badges?!?!?
(Cross rolls up his sleeves to reveal a wristband cuff that has all 8 badges of his on it)
May: Wow! That's amazing!
Cross: Yeah. I'm looking for new pokemon to raise for when I take on the Pokemon League.
Joey: Why don't you use the pokemon you used to get all 8 badges?
Cross: Well...sigh...it's a tragic story.
May: What?
Cross: I used to have 6 great pokemon. They all had great moves that I personally chose. I raised each one from the start. A few days after getting my eigth badge, I was queitly walking along the road when some guy dressed in black with a big red R on his shirt attacked me with his pokemon. His raticate gave me a nasty wound, and when I fell to the ground he stole ALL of my pokemon. I still thirst for revenge against that man.
May: That's horrible! Has the wound healed?
Cross: Oh, yes. I went to a Pokemon Center and they gave me a special treatment for it.
Joey: Whoa, so all of your pokemon were stolen? That's tragic.
Cross: Yes, well, I'm starting over. I used to have an onix as my main pokemon. I breeded it once, which was actually an accident. When the daycare couple gave me the onix egg, I sorta disregarded it and stored it on the pc. Now that the egg's father is stolen, I hatched the egg and I am now raising it.
May: Wow! You really care for your pokemon!
Joey: I guess so. Hey! We won't reach Rustboro City if we keep chatting here! Let's go!
(The three pick up the pace and head for Rustboro City)

whew! i've finally got some spare time to come on psypoke today! it's been like 2 weeks since i've logged on! (hopefully not 3 weeks! :roll: )
anyways, back to the story. i apologize for it being late, but it's here. yay!
Episode 6: May is kidnapped!!
(Near Rustboro City)
Cross: We're almost there. We just have to go across this bridge.
Joey: It better be stable, because I don't like swimming...
(The three start to cross the bridge)
(May's eyes catch a glimpse of something underwater and stops waliking to look down at it. The boys continue walking across the bridge without noticing that May stopped.)
Joey: Wait! Look ahead! It's those two Magma grunts!
(Joey points forward to point out the grunts)
Magma grunt#1: Where did you drop it you idiot!?!?
Magma grunt#2: I don't know! Some red haired jerk bumped into me here, and then when I checked my pocket in Rustboro, the master ball wasn't in my pocket anymore!
(Meanwhile, May reaches her arm underwater and retrieves the object she saw. It's the master ball that the grunt dropped)
May: What's this? It looks like a purple pokeball!
Magma grunt#1: Wait! Didja hear that!?! That girl found it!
Cross: Girl...?
Joey: May!
(The grunts barge right through Joey and Cross, pushing them into the water. Magma grunt#1 grabs May.)
May: Aiee! Let go you creep!
Magma grunt#1: Sorry missy, but you have something important to us. Hey! Idiot! Get us outta here!
Magma grunt#2: You could've just asked nicely! Go! Swellow!
{Magma grunt#2 sent out Swellow}
Swellow: Llow!
Magma grunt#2: Swellow! Fly us to our hideout!
Swellow: Swell!
(The grunts, still holding May, get on Swellow and start to fly away)
Joey: May!!!!!
(Joey gets out of the water and chucks a rock at Magma grunt #2, who then falls off of the Swellow.)
Magma grunt#2: Ahhhh! Save me!
Magma grunt#1: Sorry, the boss told me to leave you behind if you got in the way.
(Magma grunt#1, still holding May, escapes from the area to far away)
Joey: May!!! Crap, I let him get away!!
Magma grunt#2: Owww, my aching...
Joey: YOU!!!
(Joey grabs the Magma grunt and starts to punch the living daylights out of him)
Joey: You stupid worthless thief!! Where did he take May!?!?
(Joey continues to punch grunt#2)
Cross: Joey! Stop!
Joey: !...
(Joey stops punching the grunt and lets go of him)
Magma grunt#2: ... (apparently unconcious)
Cross: That's enough Joey. This won't solve anything.
Joey: ...you're right...this won't bring May back. We need to rescue her.
Cross: Agreed. But we don't have a clue of where to start.
Magma grunt#2: ......ahh...your friend has...been taken to...our hideout...
Joey: Where!?!?! Where is your filthy hideout!?!?
Magma grunt#2: ...in...M...M...Meteor...ahhh...(blacks out)
Joey: ...
Cross: Meteor...Meteor...! Meteor Falls! I've been there. It's quite far away though.
Joey: ...then we'll go to Meteor Falls. We must.
Cross: Hmm... you're pokemon are going to need to get stronger. You will also need the gym badges in order to reach some places.
Joey: Yes, I will do all of that. I will be a pokemon master!
Cross: That's the spirit! Now... we must go to Rustboro and rest. It won't be an easy sleep though.
Joey: Sigh... I know...
(Later that night, in the inn at Rustboro City...)
(Joey's looking out a window)
Joey: May... I will find you. I promise.
(Joey then goes back to bed, and crys himself to sleep)

This is going to be sort of a stab in the dark, but... I can't stand writing stories about fighting low-level wurmples in the grass. I've decided to spice it up, make it waaaaay more interesting, and more cool. So, here goes nothing...
Episode 7: Huh? What the heck happened during all that time?
2 YEARS LATER... (yes, 2 WHOLE YEARS!! )

Joey: Grievous! Return! (Joey returned his pokemon)
Cross: Joe! Return! (Cross returned his pokemon)
Wallace: I... I can't believe it... me? Defeated? Alas, this is the outcome...
Joey: So we're Champions now?
Wallace: Yes Joey and Cross! Follow me!
(Wallace takes the two into the Hall of Fame room, where he registers them as champions!)
Wallace: Now let it be know that on this day, Joey and Cross defeated the Elite 4 and the Champion! Congratulations!
(Later that day, at Lilycove City...)
Joey: I can't believe it man! We beat the Elite 4 together!
Cross: Me too! I'm so happy! Gimme' five!
(They give each other a high five)
Joey: But what now?
???????: I have the perfect idea!
Cross: Wallace?
Wallace: You betcha! I know what you can do now.
Joey: What is it?
Wallace: You can go to Johto!
Joey: Johto? Where's that?
Cross: It's another continent. My brother from Kanto goes there occasionally to visit his friends.
Joey: Ummm... Kanto?
Cross: Arrgh... Kanto and Johto are two connected continents. They feature pokemon gyms and pokemon leagues, just like here in Hoenn!
Joey: Really? Cool! What are we waiting for?
Wallace: As a reward for you two, I got you two S.S. Tidal tickets to go to Johto!
Cross: Awesome!
(Joey and Cross each recieved a S.S. Tidal ticket!)
Wallace: Have fun!
(Wallace then has one of his pokemon use fly and then he leaves for Sootopolis)
Joey: Let's go!
(The two get on board the S.S. Tidal and sail for Johto)
Joey: I wonder what it's like there...
Cross: My brother says that there are lots of new pokemon there.
Joey: That's amazing! I can't wait to get there! The only thing that I'm still not happy about is...
Cross: I know. We'll find May soon.
Joey: But that's what we said two years ago. I hope she's safe...
Cross: I'm sure she is. In the meantime, we must forge onward.
Joey: Yes. Onward, to Johto!!!
