judges will begin to rate all the entries and the winner should be announced before the 1st of September.
Now the contest will be devided in two divisions; Novice and intermediate. Novice concists of signatures made by users who are more or less starting off in graphic design. The intermediate level will concist of users who have a fair amount of knowledge and experience in the subject. You may pick which division you belong to but if us judges feel that you do not belong in that division we will change it. (This will prevent graphic design masters from entering the novice class for an easier win.)
Some rules
-The signature must be of a maximum size of 200 pixels in height by 600 pixels in width. (May be smaller)
-You must have made the signature yourself. No stealing someone else's design.
-You may only submit 1 signature
-You cannot use mature language or images in the signature.
-You must submit the signature before August 28. Any later entries will not be accepted.
-You may not submit a banner that you submitted in a previous SOTM contest.
-You may change your entry as much as you would like before August 28.
-If you whish to change your entry, you must edit your original entry post.
-You may not comment on the banning/disqualification of a user.

How the signatures will be rated:
Us judges will rate every signature on a scale from 1 to 5. Then we will add all our ratings together and find the average. The person with the highest average wins for that division. In case of 2 or more people tying we will rate those members only and continue to eliminate untill there is a final winner.
