To put an image or sig on tinypic, save your sig or image in save as...,
open tinypic, click upload on tinypic, browse your cpu for the image or sig, and viola! Copy and paste the given html code.

I know how to make Animated and Transparent GIFs, I have a few sprites on my sig and they are Animated and Transparent GIFs.
1. Go to Lunapic and Upload the image you want to be transparent-ed.
2. After uploading, Go to Edit===> Transparent.
3. Click the color you want to be transparent.

DO NOT Color the background of the be transparent image white.
mm'kay?

Animated GIFs
1. Upload again in Lunapic, This time the first picture to appear in the GIF.
2. Go to Animation===> Add Animation Frame. Now upload the second image you want to appear in the GIF, the third and so forth.
3.Go again to Edit===> Transparent and make them transparent.

DO NOT Color the backgrounds of the images in different colors, so, when it is transparentized, it will all be transparent.

Hope it helps

Hey, uh, I have an image I might want to put on my sig, but I can't seem to post it. If I need to upload it to a website or something to put it on, that will be a problem 'cause I don't know how to do that and aren't really sure if I'm allowed to go to a website with lots of random images because you know what people sometimes will put on the internet nowadays for attention. So, any suggestions?
I might decide not to put it on anyways, so...

To put an image in your signature you need to use the Img tags which means the image needs to be accessible with a URL pointing to it. Unless you have a web server at home, this means you need to upload the image someplace that will host it for you. Psypoke is kind enough to host avatars that meet file size limits but not other images or else their disk space would get eaten up.

Background info aside, http://tinypic.com/ is an image host that will suit your needs. You don't need an account and you don't have to look at any user-uploaded images. Just browse for the image, keep the default settings and click Upload Now. Then grab the Direct Link (e.g. http://i39.tinypic.com/14mxibn.png) and put it in the [img] tags in your signature.

Thanks Cherry! This also helped me with posting images. Checked out tinypic, didn't seem bad, and it worked. YES! Going to change my signature, BRB. 8-)

I'd also try http://imgur.com. You also don't need an account, it supports drag-and-drop uploading, uploading from the web, uploading/pasting from the clipboard, and I've never had problems with my pictures disappearing after a year or two like I do with tinypic. If you make an account (doesn't take long to do) then you can keep track of all the pictures you upload, and you don't have to remember all the links like you would with tinypic. The only downside is that with so much traffic, imgur sometimes becomes unavailable for a few minutes here and there. There is a gallery with user and reddit submitted content on the front page, but if you don't change your settings only the most popular images of the day will show up so there won't be anything crazy there.
