Where are the Story Rating threads that RL started? Where did everyhting go shouldn't it be in here?

Nope dont pm anyone...it did get deleted.There is nothing else that could have happened.dont pm the admins.its not their fault.and besides if it was you dont even know which admin did it.
it could be any of the mods fault or admins fault..u dont know who so u shouldnt pm.Or the thread could have gotten deleted cause there were to much spams..i think it got deleted by accident instead of a reason.

The Story Raters died out quickly (No one posted their ratings other than Tessa and a couple of other members I don't remember right now) , and I was busy with other things, I think the topic is still around here somewhere.

You could also ask Dragonfan#149 to restart it.

for a second I thought this topic was an essay on the declining quality of Pokemon fiction and Pokemon fiction forums

Yeah, I see what you mean. I recently brought my series, Crossover Chaos!! back from the grave, but only dragonfan#149 gave me a good comment. None of the old cheery story raters that had rated my first chapters haven't posted at all. ~NONE of them.~ :cry:

Anyways, yeah, for some reason, no one seems to be coming to this section anymore. It all went down hill when Roleplaying and Fanfiction became seperate sections. Now no one seems to come here and read any storys. :cry:

the problem... well, one of the larger ones... with fanfic forums these days is they lack organization. I click on the fanfic forum topic list and all I see is a bunch of phrases like "Legendary Zapdos Chronicles" and "The Trainer's Ultimate Challenges" I have no idea what's worth my time.

why not just have people put content labels on their fanfic so people can read the kind of stories they like. frostweaver posted all the major plot themes at http://www.pokecommunity.com/showpost.p ... ostcount=2 , and you could have genre labels like "Fantasy" "Mystery" "Romance" etc., maybe even describe writing styles, 1st person, 3rd person, 3rd person omniscient, etc. etc. etc.

or you could just make a thread where people can post when they post a new fanfic, where they talk about the kinds of content their story has, what the story's about, basically introduce their works to the fanfic readership.

there are a million ways you people could improve your forums but it'll never happen, probably; if a fanfic forum were intelligible, the universe would probably collapse, it's against God honestly.

edit: oh yeah, and if you're going to let 6 year old post whatever . they want, every fanfic forum might as well have a lyricspam subforum, though I hate to hurt these kids' feelings and tell them to get a proofreader or learn to write, anyway all these fanfic forums have incredibly low standards, but it's not so hard to tolerate when you've convinced yourself things could never get any better, I suppose.
