I thought it'd be a cool idea to find the locations of Pokemon in the real world using real world maps instead of altered game maps. Kind of like a real world Pokedex sort of thing. <=P
For instance, Spinda is based on a panda, which live in isolation in China-
Noctowl is based on the Eurasian Eagle Owl and native to Europe, Japan and Asia, and a sliver of northern Africa-
And Mamoswine is based on a boar, but also a wooly mammoth, which lived in North America for much of its existance before extinction-
Here's a blank map. I thought this could be a neat thing to do. Now there's obviously going to be some made up locations for things not based on real life organisms, like Solrock, but even that could be easy (the equator, deserts, Egypt, Middle East, places with sunlight, et cetera).
