you know, in my hiatus from making pretty much ANYTHING, i've learned a bunch of new things, techniques, etc. but i can't seem to carry them out, mainly because i cant find any good renders and i'm crap at sigs in general. where do you find your stuff, other than planetrenders? :/ oh, and nice sig~ |

You ain't crap at sigs, dearie. Well, this one's a random picture I got off google. Generally, I just use planetrenders for renders, and google or wikipedia for stocks. However, this'll help if you want actual stills from animes. As for anything else, this has a load of good links in general to renders and such. Just, be careful; I think some of the sites linked to have ecchi as well as renders. |

^Heh indeed. You've been busy; I hadn't been looking at your thread for quite a long time. All your sigs thus far are excellent, and I have no doubt that those in future will continue to be so. Additionally, what TCG card did you get that pic from? It looks somewhat familiar... |

@DNA: I'm not quite sure; I think it was a fairly recent card. It's the first result on Googling "quagsire tcg scan". @Valentine: I think I might. Knoll, as sweet as he is, is getting a little old now. |

A bit of an experiment, pondering whether to use it. |

That looks really cool, use it. Is that that dude from Castlevania? Soma or whoever? |

Soma Cruz, yeah. He's been in two games: Aria of Sorrow, and Dawn of Sorrow. Though the Belmont guys are probably who you'd more associate with Castlevania. :/ |

Post subject: | Re: goldenquagsire's Art Gallery |
I'm really bad with names when it comes to Castlevania (one of them was named Richard, I think), but Aria of Sorrow is my favorite of the hand-held titles (didn't play Dawn). Why aren't you using it yet. :( |

rofl Castlevania, that game is so unoriginal. :[ ALSO, cool sig, it looks kinda like it was handpainted, what effect did you use to create that feel? |

Post subject: | Re: goldenquagsire's Art Gallery |
EXPLAIN YOURSELF, POPLERS. D: no srsly, all i've played is harmony of dissonance, aria and dawn of sorrow. still, i heart them. Also, I used a hell of a lot of blurring, overlay and smudging to get that effect, |

Post subject: | Re: goldenquagsire's Art Gallery |
well the guy's name is Soma. that's lame because they got it from Brave New World. therefore its unoriginal and therefore is lame. :[ THAR. :o also, where'd you get that cool art thingy for that sig? :[ |

You are the best animator I've seen. Do you also do pokemon animation's? Sorry if I missed it cos I didn't have time to read it all. |

@poplers: Soma is also a plant, four different cities and the cell body of a neuron. :P I got the piccie from a google search. It was a wallpaper, I think. @DragonSpear: If you think I'm a good animator, you've obviously never strayed beyond Psypoke's "art" section. :/ I don't really *do* Pokemon animations, if that's what you mean. I mainly do Fire Emblem stuff, because the style's relatively easy to mimic and edit. |

It's taken from a frame in one of the Hellsing OVAs. The character in question is Sir Integra Hellsing. |

It would look better if she actually looked like she belonged there instead of looking like some anime cut-out along with a textured background. :[ |

Cut-out? It wasn't a render. O_o |

Don't listen to him. Anyone who talks **** about Castlevania lacks intelligence and respectable percipiency. :o |

Tee hee. :3 Incidently, my recent reading of Dracula uncovered quite a few amusing little insights into Aria of Sorrow. Namely, Mina Hakuba -> Mina Harker. |
