I would like to know how the rankings work on these forums if anyone has any help on this topic i would be most gratefull?

Do they go up when you post a certain amount of times?

Or do the modertators put them up when they feel you are ready? :?:

Well, if you're active and are on for about 1 and a half hours everyday, posting in that time, it shoudn't take more than 2-3 weeks. If you see, I've been on for about Half-an-hour, and I've made round about 20 posts because I can join in the conversation and also generate conversation. This doesn't mean that you make 50 random topics saying 'I am teh cooliest!' just to raise your post count, 'cause most likely you'll be put on Probation.

Don't listen to him, lol. :P Just post helpful stuff and don't worry about your post-count. I completely forgot about my post-count until someone one day said "Omg CF has 1000 posts!!"

Just relax and don't worry, that's best. That way you won't press yourself to post unecessarily

It's not that we don't want people changing their names, it's just we get a bit frustrated as to why some people feel they need to sign up two, three or even five times before they get a nick they like...if you PM us nicely we'll oblige but chaos weather mage demanded it as his birth right which we don't like.

Signing up again simply creates "dead" users and I just don't see the need to do it over and over again...nobody will know who you are.
