About Animated Avatars (an alliteration! awesome!)

I noticed that certain users, the ones I can remmeber being sNOwBaLL and Myuutsuu (sp?) have avatars that are like slide shows; their avatars are animated. How is this done? I've made all of the "slides" I want; now I want them moving.

All you need is an image animator. From something like Animator (which I believe costs a bit) to the animation tool in The Gimp. The Gimp is free, and is a powerful image editor itself, and my personal favorite. I'm not familliar with using it as an animator, though. A few people around here are, however, and will hopefully stop by soon to go into more detail on that for you.

You can probably ask RaichuLatias how to use such software to make the animated avatars, after all he made mine
