I made a forum that when people try to register it says that the paswards do not match
Does this mean the server is down or something?
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

usually it'll be where it asks for your password twice, make sure you fill in both with the exact same thing, the confirmation is important.

yeah people r doing that i even tried registering and everytime it says the passwerds did not match.
Itd been like this 4 almost 2 days now is something teribly wrong?

Yep I know what he's on about, it happen when I tried to join somebodys site. I entered passwords in both the password slots eg:
Password : Kingler -(thats not my password)
(4-8 characters)
Confirm password : Kingler
(I know they go in stars)
Im just saying that even if they look the same and actually are the same, the forum, or server has crashed.
If anybody else has this problem I would just wait... and then if its still not fixed, the owner of the forum can email the webhost/forumhost.
Hopefully that has answered people questions... or not...

What forum provider do you have? This could make a slight difference, seeing as the software is different.

Yep. They are running on 2.0.13 to 2.0.15, somewhere in there. Those versions had some bugs in them, if they updated, this problem might be solved. Then again, it may not be.

it may be the activation code because on a cuple of forums i joined you will get an email with a activatin code, and it has a link in the email then just click on that.
