I just need some help with making a screenshot of my screen, blacking out part of it, and only using a certain part of the screen I pictured. Thanks.

Press the Prt Sc button. Open paint and press Ctrl+V. Use the tool in the square shape near the top, and highlight the part you want. Copy it, clear the page, and paste it.
theres probably an easier way, but thats how i do it.

Gah! Got to it first before I did!
Yes, Patchy's way is probably the most common, and the most simple. Do you plan on putting it on the site? If so, you will probably need to put it onto photobucket or something of that sort. Just saying

Okay, thanks. My dad thought you had to have special software of some kind to do it.
EDIT: My parent's won't let me create an account on Photobucket because they don't know anything about it and they're afraid of spywareand viruses and stuff.

Then use www.tinypic.com
It is the same thing, but you just upload the image instead of creating the account.

Thank you, that'll be a lot easier than sneaking onto photobucket, since my family shares one computer that's right by the kitchen table.

If Tinypic doesn't work, you can always use my Photobucket account of course, or you could e-mail me the pictures and I can load em on there, etc.

Or imageshack. Why does everyone forget imageshack these days? No account needed, but you CAN make one if you want to collect your images. Or just let them stay random each time you upload a new one.
