I'm getting WiFi next week and i was wondering. after you get it can you use anywhere or do you have to be near a hot spot for it to work? |

If you mean in your house, you'd have to be near it for it to work. :) |

From what I've noticed, usually in the same room, but it works upstairs and in other rooms, too. It would really depend on your router. I wouldn't count on it working from a different house, however. Test and see for yourself, because I've picked up wi-fi from across the road before. |

If you mean would a japenese D/P work with an english router, i'm not sure, but would it really matter? Also, sorry if thats not what you meant. |
